Chris Candido rolling, I never would have expected that but it is good to see. The tag match with Candido and Randy Savage beating Exotic Adrian Street and The French Angel was great. I am not a big fan of the drunken Sandman so it was cool to see Rikidozan clean his clock, though give Sandman credit for putting up a fight. I was really pulling for Sabu but beating the One Man Gang is a tough task and credit OMG for getting the win there. Card 10 is looking great and I don't mind saying that your fed has quickly become one of my favorites to follow. Hey cruefan68I know what you mean my friend - Chris Candido is a man with a mission. Very glad you enjoyed the last card. I too was pulling for Sabu - if his finisher was full strength then that probably would have been it. Thanks very much man for your praise - goes a long way dude!! Gotta ask - which Crue album is you're fave? For me it's gotta be Shout At The Devil. Mick's guitar tone and Vince's vocals, let alone all those great tunes.

I can't argue with Shout, though, especially with killer tracks like Ten Seconds To Love and Knock Em Dead Kid plus as you noted Mick's guitar and Vince's vocals are in top form on that album. Everyone knows the hits but damn some of those other songs are amazing. Most Motley fans say Too Fast For Love, their debut album, is the best and I wouldn't argue with that either. I pretty much enjoy the whole catalog and could talk about my favorite songs all day

Month 1 - Card 10 - Match Results:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kevin Sullivan vs Lou Thesz:
Lou Thesz pins Kevin Sullivan via his GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP his primary finisher...
Kevin Sullivan really wanted to take this match outside the ring, Lou Thesz said it's not happening. Even through Thesz's near pinning combinations courtesy of his Airplane Spin, THESZ PRESS and his first GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP, Sullivan showed a lot of maniacal determination powering out of each one. Sullivan had so many foreign objects scattered underneath the ring, but he never got to use them. After a series of Dropkicks, Thesz perfectly executed his primary finisher for the victory....
Lou Thesz - Rating = ( + 44 ) Kevin Sullivan - Rating = ( - 44 )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff vs The Destroyer & Mil Mascaras:
The Destroyer & Mil Mascaras defeated The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff via disqualification, The Iron Sheik was disqualified for punching Mascaras with a Steel Chain wrapped around his fist...
Mil Mascaras was on fire during this match. He quickly almost forced Nikolai Volkoff to tap out to his Indian Deathlock. With The Iron Sheik tagging in, now he was the victim of Mascaras's offense. Mascaras threw The Iron Sheik outside the ring and Powerslammed him through a near by table. Back inside the ring, The Iron Sheik gained the upperhand via his Loaded Boot to Mil's jaw. The Iron Sheik threw Mascaras out of the ring and followed after him. After stumbling upon an unknown treasure trove of items under the ring, The Iron Sheik grabbed a large steel chain and wrapped it around his fist. Mascaras had to be taken from the arena with a stretcher, once security was finally able to regain control...
Destroyer & Mascaras - Rating = ( + 24 ) Skeik & Volkoff - Rating = ( - 24 )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Road Warrior Animal vs Nick Bockwinkel:
Nick Bockwinkel defeats Road Warrior Animal by submission, via his BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER primary finisher...
Road Warrior Animal came out like a bull in a china shop against Nick Bockwinkel. Bockwinkel quickly realized that he couldn't go toe to toe with Animal, he was much too strong. Bockwinkel used his agility and endurance to counter balance Animal's brute force. Off the ropes, Bockwinkel caught Animal off balance and by suprise with a near perfect Sunset Flip pinning combination, getting to a 2 & 1/2 count before Animal kicked out. At this point, Bockwinkel wasted no time...
He clamped on his BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER and held on with everything he had. Animal first tried to escape by bashing the back of his head into Bockwinkels face, but he wouldn't release the hold. Next Animal used his right arm and started elbowing Bockwinkel repetedly and ferociously in the stomach and ribs. But he wouldn't release the hold. Now Animal fell to his knees as did Bockwinkel, who was now bleeding from the nose. As blood now started to trickle out of Bockwinkels mouth from the damage done to his ribs, Animal passed out in the middle of the hold and the ref called it a submission victory...
Nick Bockwinkel - Rating = ( + 48 ) Road Warrior Animal - Rating = ( - 48 )

But I agree some of the lesser known tunes are definitely diamonds in the rough.

Month 1 - Card 11 - Match Results:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
S.D. Jones vs Red Bastien:
Red Bastien pins S.D. Jones via his ATOMIC DROP finisher...
Both competitors were fired up for this match and in the early goings of the match, it definitely showed. Bastien soon scored a near fall via his ATOMIC DROP finisher which was quickly answered by a nearly perfect Sunset Flip combination off the ropes by Jones. But as the match continued, Bastien started to hit his stride and by the third execution of his finisher, he was able to pin Jones...
Red Bastien - Rating = ( + 44 ) S.D. Jones - Rating = ( - 44 )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strangler Lewis vs Jim Londos:
Strangler Lewis defeated Jim Londos via disqualification, Londos was disqualified for smashing Lewis in the head with a Steel Chair...
Strangler Lewis played a very careful counter move strategy in this match and for some reason, it drove the usually patient and cool headed Londos over the edge. After not being able to mount any consistent offense as well as having to make it to the ropes three times in quick succession to break Lewis's STRANGLERS HEADLOCK submission finisher, when he regained the offense, Londos threw Lewis out of the ring and gave him The Chair...
Strangler Lewis - Rating = ( + 22 ) Jim Londos - Rating = ( - 22 )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rikidozan & Antonio Inoki vs Ted DiBiase & King Kong Bundy:
Ted DiBiase & King Kong Bundy defeat Rikidozan & Antonio Inoki by submission, Inoki submitted to Ted DiBiase via his MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER finisher...
Rikidozan and Antonio Inoki were a fairly well oiled team in this contest, gaining the upperhand for most of the match and making the tags that they needed to. They kept Bundy from tagging out to DiBiase and went to work on him. Bundy nearly tapped out to Rikidozan's HIPLOCK as well as to Inoki's OCTOPUS HOLD, but it wasn't enough, Bundy briefly regained the offense, picked up Inoki over his head and threw him well over the ropes and onto the arena floor...
Outside the ring, Bundy broke open Inoki's face on the steel post and rolled him back into the ring to go for broke. Bundy executed a devastating version of his AVALANCHE finisher on Inoki that would have won the match had it not been for a lightning fast Rikidozan with a quick kick to Bundys head breaking up tge pin. But the damage had been done. After chasing Rikidozan back to his corner and tagging in DiBiase, DiBiase put the finishing touches on the match as he forced Inoki to submit to his MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER as Bundy shoulder blocked an advancing Rikidozan through the ropes and out of the ring...
DiBiase & Bundy - Rating = ( + 44 ) Rikidozan & Inoki - Rating = ( - 44 )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roddy Piper vs George Hackenschmidt:
George Hackenschmidt defeated Roddy Piper by submission, Piper submitted to Hackenschmidts RUSSIAN BEARHUG finisher...
Roddy Piper was determined to punnish George Hackenschmidt, and for the first half of the match, he did just that. His offense was pure brawling brutality, culminating in a viscious loaded Knee Lift that possibly fractured Hackenschmidts jaw. Hackenschmidt was trying to tell the ref to check his knee pad, but he couldn't get the words out. Triumphantly, Piper started to mount the turnbuckle...
As soon as he made it to the top of the turnbuckle, he turned to speak to his adoring fans, only to suddenly find himself flying heels over head via a Body Slam back into the ring. Piper was about to start yelling at the ref when he found himself trapped in Hackenschmidts RUSSIAN BEARHUG and couldn't say anything without growling in pain. Piper made it close enough to the ropes in his struggle to release the hold. As he touched the ropes, once again he tried to say something, but once again Hackenschmidt had him in his RUSSIAN BEARHUG again. Piper quickly submitted, but out of the refetees sight, Hackenschmidt Head Butted him in the face a few times, before releasing the hold as Piper collapsed to the canvas, now with a bloody nose...
George Hackenschmidt - Rating = ( + 46 ) Roddy Piper - Rating = ( - 46 )

Fun show as always...a bit disappointed Piper lost to Hack but always enjoy Bastien winning and Inoki losing so those were nice and amusing to see Londos forget the Gentlemen part of the federation courtesy of a steel chair.

But I agree some of the lesser known tunes are definitely diamonds in the rough. Couldn't help myself - had to get in on this conversation... Angela is on the Decade of Decadence compilation along with another killer previously unreleased tune - Primal Scream... Girls, Girls, Girls will always by my fave... But, the self titled album will always be special to me because I was a big Corabi fan before he joined the Crüe... Thoroughly enjoyed the last two shows... Especially that wild encounter between Hack and Piper... Mascaras & Destroyer are a strong pairing and I think they will prove to be much more effective than that last technical decision over Iron Sheik & Volkoff shows... Hope they get a chance for payback... Awesome stuff!
