And let me state that I do concur with guiltyparty in that I wouldn't mind having a Roma card, especially if it could be teamed with an Orndorff card ... Or how about a team with Hercules Hernandez? Power & Glory was an underrated/underutilized team I think. Agreed about Roma. He gets a bad rap for being part of the Horsemen, and deservedly so... he didn't belong. But he was good with Orndorff and Hercules.

If we got Orndorff, i wouldn't team him with Roma..on the other hand if we got Hercules, I would consider teaming him with Roma.

My friend lives in Atlanta and actually goes to church with Orndorff. I'm real good friends with his cousin, so I only speak with him on occassion if he comes back to visit.
Maybe the next time I see him, I'll mention something to him
And while I HATED him in the Horsemen, I did enjoy Roma with Powers, Hercules and Orndorff. He just wasn't a Horseman

I agree that Roma just didn't have the Horseman style. But then again I actually thought Mongo did. He was (or at least should have been) a smashmouth stlye like The Andersons, but could still pull of the high class look.
Has anyone thought about looking up or asking John Tenta's family? Just think of the fun of an Earthquake/Bundy match...

If George would go for the church donation deal I think there's a good chance it would lead to other signings like Nikita and Sting. I know someone who has connections with Superstar Billy Graham and he's passed on info about to the game to him. I'm not sure what he thought of it but Graham is involved with the church and this type of thing might sway him. Speaking of Superstar Billy Graham...this may be one of the most disgusting things I've ever read. Basically, since Graham signed a "legends" contract, he also signed over his likeness, name, etc Here is the thread from Kayfabe memories: As reported earlier, World Wrestling Entertainment recently released "Superstar" Billy Graham from his contract in a cost-cutting measure. The Hall of Famer was collecting $2,000 per month from the company as a consultant.
As you would imagine, Graham is upset over their decision to release him from his contract. Perhaps as retribution, he asked Georgiann Makropoulos of WrestlingFigs.com to post the letter WWE sent him two weeks ago informing him of his release from the company. You can see a scan of the letter at the following link.
WWE is apparently claiming the rights to the "Superstar" Billy Graham name and his character's trademark likeness as the letter specifies that he is forever precluded from "using any names, likeness, costumes, props, gimmicks, gestures, routines, themes, personalities, or caricatures, which refer or relate to, or which are confusingly similar to those [he] used while bound by the contract."
They are also requesting that Graham return any property belonging to the company prior to the termination date of his contract, citing championship belts and costumes.
He is also informed that he is prohibited from appearing at any wrestling-related events through the termination date of his contract on July 19, 2009.Now I have absolutely no problem with them cutting business ties with Graham, but man, that is LOW BALL to do that with his name, etc especially since the guy used it pretty much his entire career. Very scummy move on VKM's part. As much as everyone "loves" his product, the guy has done more damage to the history of wrestling than anyone can imagine. Thing about it, he's conditioned most fans to not even know there is a history of wrestling (besides what happened 3 months ago)

And that last thing is kind of funny, considering all the archived footage they show on WWE.com/WWE Legacy, the DVDs, the documentaries they release...oh, nevermind. It's not worth it.

I hear a Terry Gordy film fest is on. Isn't that "fail" thing about 3 months ago as well?
