Or even him as "The Boss", so he could technically be based off Big Boss Man. Yeah, we know how well that worked for WCW. (AKA, the WWE got all over them about it) Yeah, I know about that. Or we could go with this, which would be even harder for the WWE to claim: But seriously, it doesn't matter what the art for him looks like, just as long as the stats represent him as Big Boss Man.

What would the difference be, stats wise, between Ray Traylor as Big Bubba and Ray Traylor as the Bossman?

I'd think stats for the Big Boss Man would be signifigantly better... he was in the Upper mid-card for a while... definately feuded with Hogan at one point... I THINK he had some titles later on with the 'Corporation', too... maybe the Tag Titles with Shamrock, and the IC title? Maybe Hardcore?
Anyway, I don't think as Bubba he had alot of in ring success... more of a plot device type guy... like Bob Orton in WWF(E)

I agree, Bossman was a legit main event heel for several months and had that nice little run vs. Hogan. Bubba Rogers was more of a mid-card heel, but he won like 70% of his matches. I used to scour the old PWI's back when I was a teenager and read all the results from the cards accross the country and Rogers seemed to be booked to win far more than lose with Jimmy C at his side.

That fed was short lived but a favorite of mine during it's brief existence.

In terms of moves though, it would be pretty much the same, except one would have "Cornette Interferes" and the other "Blow with Nightstick". Also, Bossman’s cage rating would have to be just horrible; I don’t think he ever won a cage match.

I vaguely remember it, but not really him in particular.

Eddie Gilbert, Terry Taylor, Chris Adams, Sting, Freebirds, Shane Douglas, etc. That fed and WCCW are some of my best early wrestling memories.
