ROH announced that in 2018 a 16-woman tournament will be held to determine the first ever Women of Honor champion! I hope this will cement a WOH card set next year as well.

Might be a good idea for them to start signing girls to actual contracts if they want to have a women's title.

I was hoping they'd do this last year instead of the 6-man tag team championship tournament. It would have been nice to see Taeler Hendrix and Veda Scott challenge for the belt.

Well they have Sumie Sakai and a few other guys (Deonna, Jenny Rose, Karen Q with more time/training) could be good but the whole thing's probably gonna come down to Kelly Klein and/or Mandy Leon and screw that noise.

Yeah, talented women come through but it's been all about Klein and Leon from day 1. So it doesn't matter how talented some of the women are if they are just fodder for two shitty wrestlers.

The first participants in the Women of Honor tournament have been revealed and several big names from Stardom will be vying for the new Women’s Championship.
Mayu Iwatani, Hana Kimura, Kagetsu and HZK will be competing in the tournament. WOH made the announcement via twitter.
The tournament begins Saturday, January 20th in Nashville TN, and several women have already advanced in qualifying matches. These wrestlers include Brandi Rhodes and Jesse Brooks.
