Beneath The Mat
Roll out the red carpet. Put on your tuxes and one of a kind dresses. Grab your favorite adult beverage. It's time for the end of the year awards for 2 GE.
Comeback of the Year: Panther Warrior
He came back to save his fellow Animen King Tux but things did not turn out how he hoped. Still it was nice seeing him back in the ring. Seeing he was injured at end of the year, at Tux's hands no less, could he earn this award again next year?
Rookie of the Year: The Tall Man
He was involved in an almost year long feud with Crossfire. They might win an award for that too. Now that it is over what is next for the mysterious and scary man?
Most Popular: Shayne
For a couple years now Perfect Specimen has been closing the gap on Wolf for this award. He finally passed Wolf. Unfortunately for him they were both passed by Shayne and his devil may care attitude.
Most Hated: Godsend
Repeat winner. Mostly due to flaunting his power. Pretty much every time he uses his title it seems he has a rematch right away and wins it back. The Tall Man did give him a run for his money due to stalking Crossfire.
Feud of the Year: Monolih vs Aethra Overmaster vs Godsend
The Tall Man vs Crossfire gave this feud a run for their money. However this feud had more going including titles and the factions of the Kingdom, The Hand and the Gladiators of Aethra. Overmaster and Monolith have been feuding since last year and Godsend was added to the mix this year. It is hard to tell if this feud will continue especially now that Monolith and Aethra Overmaster are teaming as the unofficial team of Leviathans and have the Castilex Tag Team Championship.
Match of the Year: Kingdom vs Gladiators of Aethra, Wargames Match, Upheaval: Wargames PPV
There was no shortage of possible winners here.
Godsend vs Aethra Overmaster, title vs title, Card #55
Monolith vs Godsend vs Aethra Overmaster, Threeway Dance title match, BATS 2 PPV
Elina vs Sinful, Draco Graveyard Match, BATS 2 PPV
The Tall Man vs Crossfire, Hearse Match, Halloween Havoc PPV
Wolf vs Monolith, 2 of 3 Falls - special stipulation matches, Halloween Havoc PPV
Titan Samurai vs Better than Human, 2 of 3 Falls title match, End Of Days PPV
Ultimate Prize Match, End Of Days PPV
Crossfire vs The Tall Man, Centra Coffin Match, End Of Days PPV
All of them were good but not good enough. The wargames match had brutality and involved two feuding factions. If all that was not good enough it saw Shayne making an impact on his own. He helped the Gladiators win the match and that would springboard his career the rest of the year.
Ladies Wrestler of the Year: Shann-Ra
From holding the GWF Ladies Championship for half the year and winning tag matches with Moonlight she was the most dominating female wrestler this year.
Tag Team of the Year: Death Dealers
They had two runs with the Castilex Tag Team Championship that covered over half of the year. They also got involved in The Tall Man and Crossfire feud. This was a close contest as Titan Samurai had a long run with the GWF Universal Tag Team Championship.
Wrestler of the Year: Monolith
He had one run with the Castilex Heavyweight Championship and of course ended the year with the tag belts. What was more impressive is winning both the Big Bang Battle Royal and Omega Cup. 2 GE was a good year for GWF's resident giant and 3 GE might end up being just as good.

Card #98 - Stasllar Theater
Show begins welcoming everyone to the Stasllar Theater. It is first time back in over a year as the Theater had been going thru extensive renovations. A short video highlighting some of it and then it is announced that Better than Human have accepted Predators challenge for the Upheaval PPV. That is the first match other than the annual Big Bang Battle Royal.
The four members of The Asylum; Tricks, King Tux, Disciple of Terror and Swerve are in their locker room talking about Tricks title match against Panther Warrior in the main event. The other members are arguing who should be in Tricks corner. He tells them to shut up. He says he has it covered. They start up again pleading their cases.
A female voice: Hey ya puddin. Hey boys. Everyone stops talking and turn to the doorway. The camera pans over and we see an attractive blonde wearing tight red and blue shorts, crop top with the words Daddy's Lil Monster on it, her hair in pigtails and holding a baseball bat over her shoulder.
Tricks gets a huge smile and walks over to her as the others stand there gawking. Tricks: Hello darlin. Boys this is my girlfriend Harley Q. Harley these are my boys. Harley Q smiles and raises her free hand, wiggling her fingers. The guys smile and wave back at her.
Tricks: Don't wait up boys. We are off to make plans and then paint the town red. And by the town I mean Panther Warrior. Mwahahahaha.
With that Tricks and Harley Q left as the others were left starring.
Demon Godsend defeated Splatter X by pinfall.
This ended up being a short, dominating match. Demon took it to Splatter X and got the win after Cover of Darkness. Once the match was over Splatter X got up and shoved the ref. He went to the corner and picked up Little Helper. That is when the lights went out. When they came back on after a minute or so Demon Godsend was laid out in the middle of the ring surrounded by a fading mist. Splatter X looked down at him. Then at his Little Helper club. Back to Demon and again his club and next out to the crowd. It seemed he was as confused as the fans. Then he left the ring and he seemed even madder then after he lost as his chance for payback was taken from him.
Ultimate Chaos w/M.H. Henry over Euritar.
Henry distracted Euritar at the start of the match letting his man attack Euritar from behind. Chaos was in control the rest of the way. He finished Euritar off with Bow of Defeat. Chaos did not release the hold after the bell. The ref told him to let go and started to count when Henry got in and started arguing with him. With the ref distracted Chaos was able to apply the hold even longer. Finally Euritar's sounds of pain regained the ref's attention. The ref threatened to reverse the decision and disqualify Chaos. That is when Henry instructed him to release Euritar. Chaos gave the ref a mean stare before leaving with his manager.
MG7000 interviews Perfect Specimen and Lord Nexus. Specimen announces he is cashing in his Castilex Hardcore Championship match contract at Upheaval. Nexus says it is best for him to get his feet wet in a lower title match before going for the bigger prizes.
Alpha Female beat Moonlight via submission.
A surprisingly short match as Alpha was pissed about last card's sneak attack and took out her anger on her attacker. Before long she had Moonlight in Dire Straph in the middle of the ring. Moonlight could not escape and submitted. All during the hold, which Alpha kept on for a bit after the bell, Alpha kept yelling about this is Shann-Ra's fate and how she will break Shann-Ra.
A promo that starts with clips of people going about normal everyday things. Earthlings, Titans, Animen, Aethrans, people of Castilex and then the clips speed up showing others. During that clip a voice says "all other people live who look different and act different and even die different". Then the screen goes black. "But for our differences there are a few things the same. Chief among them is..." suddenly a horrible vicious looking beast with large fangs dripping saliva and what appears to be blood pops on the screen lunging at the camera before the screen goes black again "...is our nightmares. Nightmares are always with us. One night they are there and then gone for days, weeks, months or even years. But they come back. They ALWAYS come back."
Death Dealers beat Team ABC by pinfall when Coven Black covered Blue Chip following Bite of the Vampire.
Another quick match. Black caught Chip off guard with a springboard spear to start the match. He didn't let up and quickly finished Chip off. Neither man even tagged out. Then something happened not seen for a long time. Chip seemed in a trance and followed the Death Dealers out of the ring. Astarte followed and tried to get Chip to snap out of it. Necros tossed Phantom Dust in his eyes. Then Coven Black hit a tombstone flip piledriver on him right there on the floor. The Death Dealers leave, smiles on their faces, with Chip following.
Tricks w/Harley Q over Panther Warrior by pinfall to retain the GWF TV Championship.
When the match started Harley was blowing kisses to Warrior which distracted him just enough. He turned around and got poked in the eye. The ref started to reprimand Tricks when Harley got on the apron to distract him. This let Tricks deliver a low blow. Tricks kept up the offense although Warrior got in some too. The end came when Tricks whipped Warrior into the ropes then pretended to stumble and grabbed the ref for support. As the ref turned his attention to Tricks Warrior hit the ropes just as Harley hit him in the lower back with her bat. With Warrior crumbled to one knee Tricks sprung into action. Tricks set him up in the corner and hit The Face of Terror for the victory. Harley then came in, straddled Warrior's prone body and applied some of Tricks makeup on Warrior's mask. Then she got up and Tricks and her left to the back laughing and having quite the good time.

Card #99 - Pollux Starfire Arena
MG7000 walks up to Panther Warrior who is getting a bite to eat at the crafts table. He tells Warrior he is sorry his revenge tour had to end on a sour note. Warrior looks at him for a bit then says it isn't over. Tonight he has been granted a match with King Tux. Plus he is waiting to hear if he gets a rematch with Tricks. At that Warrior walks off leaving MG7000 to ponder this news.
Kenji w/Giant Azuma beat Skiver w/Patch by submission.
Skiver asked for this singles match to show he is not the weak link of his team as he has taken the loss in their tag matches against the Samurai. Early on he looked like he would prove that by winning. Then Kenji turned things around and used his submission holds to wear Skiver down before finishing him with the Knee Bar. Patch and Azuma entered the ring to check on their partners.
As the match ends a familiar entrance music starts playing. Out walks Murtak the Merciless. He is in his old garb and waving his flag. He marches to the ring, gets in and shoos everyone out of the ring. They look at him like he's crazy but leave and head to the back. Murtak pulls a mic out. "Have no fear Murtak Maniacs, your hero has returned. I tried to form a faction as you know but sadly I recruited losers and ingrates. I have freed myself from them and now I am back on a path to conquer the GWF. So in that spirit I am offering a challenge to either Godsend or Shayne for a title match at Upheaval. I will wait for your response. Just know the first to accept will get the privilege of facing me in the ring." With that he put the mic away, climbed a corner and waved his flag to boos, a few cheers but mostly apathy.
Panther Warrior over King Tux by disqualification.
The bell rang and Tux went for a spear but Warrior quickly moved out of the way. Warrior was working on Tux when he charged into the corner to splash Tux but Tux moved. Then Tux went to work. He hit not one but two Belly Flops but could not get the three count. Warrior fought back and hit Speed of the Panther for a close two count.
The camera shows s large muscular man coming out from back. He is wearing a black and white wrestling mask, a black tank top, brown pants and boots. He is making his way to the ring as Warrior hits his finisher a second time. The ref is making the count when this beast of a man gets in the ring and grabs Warrior, lifts him up by his throat and chokeslams him. The ref called for the bell to DQ King Tux. Tux grabbed the ref and tossed him out of the ring. That will earn him a fine. Tux instructed the large man to pick Warrior up and Tux made a breaking motion with his hands. The mysterious man lifted Warrior then performed a vicious backbreaker. Warrior could be heard screaming in pain. Tux was jumping up and down while clapping his fins. Tux instructed the big man to follow him as he left the ring to head to the back.
The Death Dealers are in a lounge sitting on crushed velvet furniture. Blue Chip is there and brings Necros a glass flute filled with a red liquid. Coven Black: He is such a good pet. It is nice having someone to wait on us again.
Necros: So true. You know, I just had a thought. You two should team together. You could be Black and Blue.
Both men give a subdued chuckle. Suddenly the door busts open and Helsin, Burning Man and Astarte rush in. Helsin and Burning Man charge at Death Dealers and start raining down blows. Meanwhile Astarte slings Chip over his shoulder and exits the room. A few more shots and Helsin and Burning Man make a hasty retreat as well leaving Death Dealers sprawled out, trying to recover.
Catfight walks up to her teammates the Predators. She asks Wolf if he's heard from Dark Menace as she's been trying to get ahold of him to no avail. He says he hasn't and he thinks they may not be able to rely on Menace anymore but not to worry. They will be fine as he's working on a plan. Lope the War-wolf lets out a howl and Wolf says "exactly".
Scorn beat Elina by submission.
This was a brutal match. They kept exchanging moves as they tried to get on a roll. Soon Elina did just that. Some close pin attempts but couldn't put Scorn away. Scorn found a way to turn things in her advantage. She pummeled Elina and eventually put Elina in A Woman Scorned. Elina fought hard to escape but couldn't and finally gave up and tapped. Scorn dropped Elina to the mat but when the ref went to leave the ring she grabbed Elina and put her in the hold again. Elina was screaming and the ref came back in to get Scorn to let go. Scorn did and smiled as she left.
Gladiators over Black Death by submission when Fist used Armament to submit Bex.
Fist and Sur started and Sur was dominating the action. After a couple unsuccessful pin attempts Sur tagged Bex in. He kept his team in control for a short while but then Fist gained some control. He hit some offense and tagged out. Gladiators worked over Bex and used frequent tags to stay fresh. Fist slapped Armament on Bex in the middle of the ring. Bex was in obvious pain and before long he tapped out. Sur looked disgusted at his partner who not only lost his teams advantage but gave up and lost them the match.
Another match for the Upheaval PPV is announced as Alpha Female got her wish. Shann-Ra will defend her title against Alpha Female. Then a reminder that the next card will be #100 and be on Castilex. There will be four title matches and some faces from the past of GWF.
Shooting Star w/M.H. Henry over Shayne via pinfall in a non title match.
A bit of a shocker. Shooting Star was rocking the Universal champ in the beginning of the match. He hit Sky on Fire but Shayne kicked out. Some more offense then Shayne rolled to the floor. Star went after him and they brawled on the floor. Shayne ended up getting the better of it. After getting in to break the ref's count Shayne grabbed Star and got him back in the ring.
Shayne started going to work. He hit Eye4Eye but no pin. Then Showdown but again Star kicked out. Shayne looked surprised. A bit more offense and a second Showdown. Henry distracted the ref for a short moment but it was enough as Shayne could not get the three count. Shayne was getting frustrated and tossed Star to the floor. Once Star got back in the ring Shayne grabbed him and nailed Eye4Eye. Shooting Star found a way to kick out right before the three count. Shayne got up and argued with the ref. After a bit he turned back to Star and threw him over the top rope.
Shayne went out after him when Perfect Specimen' music him and he came out. He stood on the stage to watch the action. Shayne looked at him, confused what he was doing. He turned around into a Codebreaker. Shooting Star rolled Shayne into the ring and started working him over. Star hit a Legend Lariat and pulled off the upset. Star went to the floor to celebrate with his manager. Meanwhile Shayne sat up running his hands thru his hair trying to figure out what just happened. He looks to the stage where Specimen is softly clapping then shrugs his shoulders and goes back to clapping.

Card #100 - Godsend Amphitheater
The show begins with a highlight/hype video package showing clips of top moments and matches from the previous 99 cards in the Godsend Era. Of course it showed the triumphs of the Kingdom without any of their defeats.
We then see clips from earlier in the week and today from the Godsend Con. The people of Castilx were having a great time buying Godsend and Kingdom merchandise, buying and selling collectibles and viewing a short documentary on the greatness of Godsend.
Finally we are live from Castilex and we see Godsend, Lady Godsend and Demon Godsend from their VIP viewing section. Vallah is also present, in his floating cage behind Godsend. Godsend stands and gets a loud reaction of cheers and clapping. He address the crowd and those watching at home. He talks about how great his Era has been. He says it would have been no matter what but gives acknowledgement that the GWF years before his Era made it easier. He lists off some names of the greats and says he has invited some who will be here later. He goes on to say it is almost time for the opening match but The Hand requested some in ring time and GWF officials, against his objections, have granted them it. The fans boo and the boos get louder as The Hand make their entrance as we go to break.
Bishop Hell has a mic. He says the group has been working on an important decision. They decided to bring in outside help. Someone Monolith vouched for. So introducing their new adviser and consultant...Dark Menace. At the Menace came out to the stage, looked around with a smile on his face. He then made his way to the ring. He got in, shook Monolith's hand then Bishop Hell's as he took the mic.
Dark Menace: My name is, Dark Menace. You know who I am and what I can do. So let's cut to the chase as they say. The Hand is a powerful five person unit. Each member strong on their own but when combined like a fist (he holds his hand up and makes a fist as a visual) they are even stronger. The problem is if one of those fingers is say broken not only are they weaker they make the fist weaker. And right now one of their fingers is broken. (at this Ghena who has had his head down looking at the ground since the group came out looks up at Menace. He then looks around at his teammates who have sort of circled him.) It is my recommendation that The Hand removes that finger and replaces it with another.
At that the four other members of the hand turn around slowly and put their back to Ghena. He pleads for a bit but finally accepts his fate. He slowly slinks out of the ring. He looks frightened as he realizes not only has he been abandoned by his team but it has happened in the land of his former team and now enemies. Godsend watches him slowly make his way to the back and a big smile crosses Godsend's face.
Dark Menace: As far as the replacement, I have reached out to someone and they have agreed to join. They will cover the one division not already covered by any members, the ladies division. I was going to bring her out tonight but better to let the other teams sweat it out. Wondering if there is a traitor on their team. Once last thing, as Ghena was part of the Castilex Three-Man Tag Team Championship it leaves them one man short. Well Total Hell said they have this so they will defend the titles by themselves.
With that Menace, Monolith and Overtime left to the back as Total Hell prepare for the opening match.
Black Death & Demon Godsend beat Total Hell via DQ so Total Hell retain the Castilex Three-Man Tag Team Championship.
A short match that ended when Totalis blasted Sur with one of his multiple belts. After the ref ended the match Bex and Demon ran in and fought with Total Hell. Overtime ran down with a chair and chased the Kingdom out of the ring. Then The Hand members head for the hills.
FDF Tradition over Evil Henchmen w/Bane by pinfall when Tank Mortar pinned Disciple of Terror after a neckbreaker.
The newest member of The Asylum is Bane, the former Totally Awesome, and he comes down with Evil Henchmen. Climber and Disciple start the match. Climber used his speed and agility to keep Disciple off guard. FDF hit a tag finisher but Disciple kicked out. Tank beat down on Disciple and after an unsuccessful pin attempt Tank hit a neckbreaker. Swerve came in to break the count but Climber cut him off and FDF got the win.
As FDF are having their arms raised Bane came in and attacked Tank from behind. As Bane puts his boots to Tank the Henchmen attacked Climber. After a minute or two FDF are laying on the canvas as The Asylum members stand tall over them.
Godsend is in the locker room with Dominion. He tells them they need to win the titles tonight. They say they will not let him down. He tells them they better not. He leaves and Dominion look at each other with concerned faces.
Ultimate Chaos w/M.H. Henry defeated Bloodline by submission.
Chaos dominated the match for the most part against the recent Intergalactic champ. Chaos put Bloodline in Chaos Stronghold and his power made Bloodline submit.
Monolith & Aethra Overmaster over Dominion by countout to retain the Castilex Tag Team Championship.
As the champs made their way to the ring the crowd chanted "Leviathans sucks". Monolith went straight to his team's corner as it looked like he was going to let Overmaster start the master. Moog started for his team. As they exchanged blows in the ring Monolith pulled a chair and table out from below the ring. He set them up in a neutral corner and sat down to watch the action. A bit later Overmaster set up Moog on the turnbuckle in that corner. He then hit Reign of the Overmaster sending Moog out of the ring and crashing thru the table. Monolith stood up right before that happened. He looked up at Overmaster and put his hands up. The ref started the ten count. Sentinel came over to check on Moog but Monolith stood between the two of them. As Sentinel decided what to do the ref got to ten and the match was over. Thunder rumbled thru the cloudless sky and Godsend looked upset.
Back from break and Godsend is standing up in his VIP section and smiling. "Please everyone give a big Castilex welcome to some greats from GWF's past." First out was Ursa Major who made his way down and got in the ring. Next out was The Bomb. Then his tag partner Muss. Followed by Shoot. Flinch, his tag partner, was next. Balaal was the next vet to come out. Finally one of the greatest, Spike, made his way to the ring. "What an amazing seven men. But seeing them is not enough. We need to see them in action." The crowd cheers as the wrestlers look confused. "We will have a seven man over the top battle royal. The winner will get a nice juicy contract with GWF. Now if you do not want to take part of the match that is fine. You can leave the ring and stay here...as a slave of Castilex." Muss and The Bomb look at each other, shrug their shoulders and start throwing punches. The match is under way.
Spike wins the Battle Royal and a GWF contract.
Muss and The Bomb are working over Ursa Major as the other four square off. Ursa puts up a good fight but they eliminate him. The Bomb goes at Shoot as Muss goes at Clinch while Balaal and Spike battle. The Bomb eliminates Shoot. He turns and sees Balaal kicking Spike down in the corner. The Bomb attacks Balaal from behind. In a bit of a shocker The Bomb eliminated Balaal. He then went at Spike. Clinch looked like he had eliminated Muss but Muss landed on the apron. When Clinch went to finish the job Muss, holding on to the top rope, jumped up and put his legs around Clinches neck and yanked him over the rope to eliminate him. Meanwhile Spike hit Megadestroyer on The Bomb and then tossed him over the top rope. It was down to Spike, who was looking better than he had in years maybe due to Godsends influence, and Muss. They exchanged blows and moves till Spike lifted Muss and tossed him down onto The Bomb who had remained ring side to cheer for his tag partner. The Bomb tried to catch him so Muss's feet wouldn't touch the ground but he couldn't. Your winner...Spike.
Lady Godsend beat Deadliest by pinfall to retain the Castilex Ladies Championship.
As Lady got up to leave the VIP section and get in the ring Godsend placed his hand on her arm. She looked down at him and he gave her a stern look and she nodded her head. Once in the ring the bell rang. Before anything happened Godsend yelled "wait". Deadliest turned to see what he would say. "Ok now start the match." She turned around and Lady applied A Lady's Touch. The double claw hold had her in pain and she fell to her knees. Lady bent her backwards till her shoulders touched the mat and the ref counted three. A very fast win for Lady Godsend. Godsend stood and clapped then made his way to the ring for the main event.
Godsend over Splatter X by pinfall to retain the Castilex Heavyweight Championship.
Splatter X took it to the champ from the opening bell. His momentum did not last long. Godsend started wearing down his challenger. It is speculated Godsend made this match because he thinks Splatter X is behind the recent attacks of Kingdom members. Godsend hit a Immaculate Enzuigiri and almost got the pin but Splatter X kicked out at last moment. A couple more moves than a Savior Super Drop and that was enough to finish the match. Godsend motioned for some Royal Guards to come take Splatter X away. Were they simply helping him to the back or was he being taken into custody? Perhaps he is a new Castilex slave?
Godsend is standing alone in the ring and he is thanking his loyal subjects and talking about what a success tonight was thanks to him. Suddenly the wind picks up some and the sky gets cloudy. Godsend looks puzzled then the lights go out. A spot light shines on Godsend in the ring. He looks confused not knowing if this is an attack or some surprise celebration for him.
A second spot light shines on the stage. Standing in it is none other that Maramus. He has made his return to GWF.
Maramus: Congratulations on two plus years of glory for you and the Kingdom. I hope you enjoyed it because it has come to an end. I am taking over and there is nothing anyone, including you, can do about it.
The spot light on Godsend starts to slowly expand. It reveals the familiar mist seen lately and then someone standing behind Godsend. The lights come back on and it's Nightmare! He turns Godsend around. Godsend has a look on his face that is a mix of shock and fear. Nightmare starts wailing on him. Royal Guards coming running down but Nightmare disappears before they get to him. The camera shows the stage empty as Maramus has also escaped. What does this mean for Godsend and the Kingdom going forward?

Beneath The Mat
Breaking News: Due to recent events on Card #100 GWF officials have tweaked the name of the upcoming PPV. It is now called Upheaval: Dark Siege. Also a match has been added. Godsend will defend his Castilex Heavyweight Championship against Nightmare.
Kenji has been training a female wrestler and she will make her GWF debut soon. She will be part of the Fighting Titans which will give them representation in the Ladies division.
Ryza hasn't released an album in almost two years but recently released a single. It's called "Fake Idols". Talk is it's about Godsend. No word if he has a comment about it but seeing as he has his hands full right now it is unlikely he has time to listen to it.

Card #101 - Albirco Bowl
Helsin, Burning Man and Team ABC are in a locker room. Chip is thanking everyone for rescuing him. Helsin it was nothing. He says the Death Dealers think they can do what they want but they will learn that's not so. In fact he and Burning Man need to go get ready for a match against them. He tells Chip to rest up and get back to kicking butt.
The Doctor over Murtax the Merciless via pinfall.
Murtak came down in his flag waving glory. When the match started Murtak took advantage of The Doctor's inexperience by acting like someone was behind The Doctor. When he turned around to look Murtak attacked. After some offense Murtak hit his finisher but didn't get the three count. Action spilled to the floor where both men slugged it out and Murtak got the better of the exchange. Back in the ring Murtak threw The Doctor into the corner and charged in but got two boots to the face for his effort. The Doctor went for a cover a bit later to no avail. Some more offense and he hit Sonic Screwdriver for the win.
Godsend is pacing the floor in Commissioner Eydilon's office while the Commissioner sits behind his desk.
Godsend: How can this be. How can they be back. Why did I not feel their presence in this realm. More importantly how could you give Nightmare a title match against me? Especially so soon after his arrival.
Eydilon: Hey that wasn't me. If was GWF officials. They saw it as a great draw for the PPV. And to be honest I see their point. It is a huge match. You can beaf him so why worry. You can beat anyone.
Godsend: That's not the point. Besides the way this unfolded has me concerned. Take Dominion and their Wurdune Sleep being interrupted. We know the attacks came from inside. Inside their heads. Their dreams. Could Nightmare be behind that? I mean he never had that kind of power before. He was Nightmare in name only. He couldn't enter people's dreams. Does he have the power to now or is someone helping him? Does Maramus have that power now or is it someone else?
Eydilon gets a questioning look on his face as if in deep thought.
Eydilon: I don't know but we will look into this and get the answers. I promise you. For now remain calm. Regain your composure. You need to...
Godsend stops pacing and turns toward Eydilon with a look of rage.
Godswnd: Do not dare tell me what to do. Do not assume to know better than me. I am in control. Remember your place or I will be forced to remind you.
Eydilon slumps in his chair and looks down.
Eydilon: Of course your magnificent.
Kill Prey over Code Destroyer by disqualification.
Both men went back and forth in a close match. Kill Prey went to top of a turnbuckle and jumped at Destroyer who ducked and Prey took out the ref. Destroyer took advantage of this and grabbed his crowbar and hit Prey. With red still not recovered he hit him a second time just as ref stirred. Destroyer covered but Prey kicked out at two. Destroyer couldn't believe it. He was hot and tossed Prey out of the ring. Destroyer went out after him, grabbed a chair and ignoring the ref he smashed Prey with it. The ref called for the DQ. Destroyer with two more chair shots. Sly Drury came down and both men stomped on Prey. Epoch came down with a chair of his own and chased them off.
Death Dealers beat Helsin & Burning Man by pinfall when Necros pinned Helsin after Black Death Cometh.
Coven Black started the match exactly like he did in their match against Team ABC. He hit Helsin with a springboard spear and followed it up with Bite of the Vampire. The difference is Helsin kicked out. Things did not get better for Helsin as Black worked him over some before tagging Necros in who finished Helsin off. The Death Dealers left right after the win looking like their opponents were beneath them.
Sly Drury is on a communicator walking down a hallway. He is talking about working together for the advantage of all involved. He keeps walking and talking but is out of hearing distance. Who could he be talking to?
Paralyze beat Overtime by pinfall.
Match up of Gladiator and The Hand members. Paralyze went for a couple pin attempts early but Overtime kicked out with power at one. Paralyze kept the offense going and made many pin attempts but Overtime kept kicking out. Overtime digging deep to survive. Unfortunately he couldn't get any offense going and eventually a third Heart Stopper finished Overtime off.
Better than Human over Titan Samurai by submission when PSI made Giant Azuma tap to Mind Over Matter to retain the GWF Universal Tag Team Championship.
A rematch from End Of Days as former champs tried to win the belts back from the team that beat them. Early on PSI worked over Kenji. Tharkas tagged in and kept the assault going. Kenji was able to tag out and Giant Azuma got Tharkas in trouble. Azuma couldn't put him away so he tagged Kenji back in. It looked like the Titans might have been on the way to win the belts, and a date with Predators at Upheaval, as Kenji went to work using his submission holds. Tharkas held out and Azuma tagged back in. Shortly later Tharkas made a desperate tag. PSI kept attacking Azuma with Thrust Apex to wear him down and then finished him off with Mind Over Matter. The champs successfully defended their titles.

Card #102 - The AC Arena
This is last card before the PPV and the show opens with video package running down the matches.
- Godsend vs Nightmare for the title. Nightmare is making his return so not sure what to expect.
- Better than Humans vs Predators for the titles. Will the champs be able to hold on to their recently won belts or will Predators reclaim them for a third time.
- Shann-Ra vs Alpha Female for the title. Shann-R has been dominating while Alpha has been aggressive in her quest for the title.
- Witness vs Perfect Specimen for the title. Witness is the Kingdom's slave and will want to hold on to the title while Spec is cashing in the first of his six title contracts.
- Big Bang Battle Royal. The classic match with the winner getting a title match at the next PPV.
It is announced that tonight's main event will involve some of these guys. A Three-Man Tag Team match as Predators & Perfect Specimen face off against Better than Human & Witness.
Natives over Team ABC by pinfall when Ygorr pinned Blue Chip after Natives performed Natives Are Restless.
Krud and Chip started. Krud dominated and after an unsuccessful pin attempt he tagged Ygorr and they performed their finisher but Chip kicked out. Ygorr kept the offense going and even went high risk coming off the turnbuckle with a flying elbow. Ygorr had Chip worn down more and he tagged Krud in. Some more action and Natives hit their finisher again. This time they got the pin. Chip did not look good in this match. Maybe he came back to inring action to soon and is still showing effects from his time with the Vampires.
Perfect Specimen is walking in a hallway when Shayne comes up and gets in his face.
Shayne: What was that crap a few cards back. You came out and cost me my match. You are just lucky it wasn't a title match.
Perfect Specimen: Hey you have been so supportive of me I was just trying to return the favor, champ.
Shayne smiles, turns his head to the side then back to face Specimen.
Shayne: Fine. Fine. Good. Thanks for support. Good to know you got my back cause I got yours. Good luck tonight.
Shayne walks off and Specimen turns his head to watch him leave.
Endgame defeated Crossfire by pinfall.
A solid match. It took awhile for anyone to gain any momentum as the men went back and forth. Crossfire was first to get really going. He made pin attempt after pin attempt but could not put Endgame away. Then Endgame started getting an offensive roll going. He hit Endgame's Revenge to put Crossfire away.
Panther Warrior over Bane by pinfall.
The newest, and largest, member of The Asylum took it to Panther Warrior from the opening bell. He used his power to rock Warrior. Bane hit his new finisher Venom, a gorilla press into a backbreaker, but Warrior kicked out. Bane would go on to use it two more times and still could not put Warrior away. The last time thanks to a rope break. Finally Warrior was able to start turning things around when Bane rushed him in the corner and Warrior used a drop toe-hold to drive Bane head first into the turnbuckle. Warrior with offense including his finisher a couple times but Bane was too strong to put away. The end finally came via a suicide cross body. It was a hard fought victory and Warrior showed signs of the damage Bane caused him.
Elina over Moonlight via pinfall.
This was a quick match as Elina started hot and kept coming at Moonlight. She hit her finisher, Resurrection, and the match was over. Moonlight tried to attack her after but the ref held her back just long enough for Elina to get out of the ring and make her way to the back. Could an impressive win like this put Elina back on track to the top of the division?
Predators & Perfect Specimen over Better than Human & Witness by submission when Wolf made PSI submit to Savage Face Claw.
Witness was brought to the ring in chains by two Royal Guards. Before the match starts Shayne came out with a chair and a beer. He set up the chair on the stage, sat down and cracked the beer open.
The match was one sided. Perfect Specimen and PSI started and Specimen took it to PSI. Could he have been sending a message to Shayne? After PSI kicked out of a pin attempt Specimen tagged out to Lope. Lope came down with skullcrusher on PSI. More offense and a couple unsuccessful pin attempts. Lope tagged Wolf in and he hit PSI with a skullcrusher. The camera caught Specimen just staring a hole into Shayne. Wolf meanwhile kept the attack going and slapped on his finisher. Tharkas and Witness came in to try and save PSI but Lope and Specimen cut them off. PSI tapped out pretty quick. It is speculated that knowing he and Tharkas have to defend their titles at the PPV against these Predators he decided taking damage in a meaningless match didn't make sense and figured best to end it before it got worse.
As the show ended Predators and Better than Human faced off in the ring. Meanwhile Specimen stood on the apron staring at Shayne who motioned toward Witness as that is who Specimen faces at the PPV.

Upheaval: Dark Siege ppv - Triton Pavilion
A quick hype video for tonight's matches then we are live. Witness was being brought to the ring in chains.
Perfect Specimen defeated Witness by pinfall to win the Castilex Hardcore Championship.
This was a brutal hardcore match. They slugged it out in the ring for awhile then Witness tossed Specimen to the floor. Witness threw Spec into the ringside barricade. Then the steps. He grabbed one of the chains used to hold him and choked Spec. They fought up the ramp to the stage. Specimen grabbed Witness and slammed him on the stage and went for a pin attempt. He dragged Witness to the ring and rolled him in. Some more in ring action then it spilled to the floor again. They fought into the crowd. Witness suplexed Spec onto a roll of chairs. After not being able to gain the pin he picked up a chair and waited for Spec to stand before tossing it at him.
The two men brawled to the back. Witness found a table leaning against a wall and set it up. He then powerbombed Spec thru the table. Another two count. Witness tosses Spec thru a door. He goes in and several wrestlers and staff are sitting around tables having a bite to eat. Specimen grabs a bottle of water and hits Witness in his forehead with it. Shayne walks in wielding a kendo stick. He goes to hit Specimen but Spec ducks and Shayne hits Witness on top of his head. Shayne puts his free hand to his forehead because he can't believe what happened. Specimen grabs a chair and starts swinging it. Shayne takes off running. Spec nails Witness in the back and goes for the pin. Witness, bleeding from the kendo shot, kicks out.
Specimen throws Witness back in the hallway and places him on a golf cart. He drives back to the stage, turns around, backs up and stops quick. That sends Witness rolling down the ramp. Specimen throws Witness back in the ring. Specimen finds a chair under the ring and brings it into the ring with him. He lays it on the mat then hits Witness with a Perfect Piledriver. Perfect covers and gets a three count. Perfect Specimen wins his first title. He holds it high as the crowd cheers. Royal Guards come down, place Witness and drag his barely conscious body to the back.
Apha Female beat Shann-Ra by pinfall to win the GWF Ladies Championship.
Alpha has been fired up and aggressive lately and she brought all that into this match. Shann-Ra seemed to have no answer for everything Alpha threw at her. Shann-Ra would get a bit of offense going and Alpha would quickly take her advantage away. Shann-Ra did all she could be continuing to kick out. The end finally came after the fourth straight Slave No More.
With the belt in her hand Alpha Female smiled. Suddenly The Hands music hit. Out came Monolith, Bishop Hell, Totalis, Overtime and Dark Menace. Menace stood on the stage as the other four made their way to the ring and circled it. One man stood on each side. Alpha looked nervous and held her belt so she could use it as a weapon. They hopped on the canvas and got into the ring. They closed in on her then stopped and put their right hands out in The Hands group gesture. They put their hands together over her head. She then smiled and lifted her right hand to join theirs. It seems she is the new fifth member of The Hand. Dark Menace smiles and claps his hands.
Better than Human over Predators by pinfall when Tharkas pinned Wolf following a capture suplex onto knee to retain the GWF Universal Tag Team Championship.
Predators started hot. It looked like Better than were outmatched. Things turned when Wolf put his Savage Face Claw on PSI. Tharkas came in to break the hold. Lope came in and the two brawled. While the ref was trying to get them back to their corners Tharkas laid out Wolf and rolled PSI on top of him. PSI did not get the pin but he was able to tag out. Tharkas came in and took it to Wolf. He hit the suplex and held Wolf's trunks. Lope did not realize what was happening in time to try a save. The champs retained.
Time for the Big Bang Battle Royal.
- The Doctor is the first man down.
- Number 2 entrant is Bex.
- The Doctor is dominating. His one mistake was tossing Bex into ropes and bending down too soon. Bex hit a piledriver on him and then tossed him over the top rope.
- The Tall Man is number 3. As he comes down he comes face to face with The Doctor who is headed to the back. Both men look intensely at each other and seem about to come to blows when an official makes The Doctor move on to the back.
- Bex is dominating his taller opponent. He hits Ground Zero twice but can not get him over the top rope.
- Number 4 entrant is Adam Blast Jr. but is announced as US Patriot II and wearing gear similar to his dad's.
- Bex and US starting slugging it out, fall to the mat and end up rolling under the ropes to the floor.
- Bex lays out US and gets back in the ring. He is attacked by The Tall Man. Bex fights back and is on the offense when a silver sphere flies down. A blade pops out from the side and it slashes Bex's arm. The Tall Man lifts Bex over the ropes but Bex holds on desperately.
- Sur is the number 5 entrant.
- Before Sur can get in the ring to help his partner The Tall Man nails Bex with Phantasm Ravager and throws him out to the floor to eliminate him.
- Murtak comes out waving his flag and walking to the ring. The announcers point out he's not in the match. Officials come down and inform him he is not in the Battle Royal and must return to the back. He puts up quite the fuss.
- Ultimate Chaos w/M.H. Henry is the 6th entrant. As he passes Murtak he brings his fist down like a hammer on Murtak's head. This gets him wobbly and easier to be corralled into the back.
- Chaos goes after US and after a quick advantage things even out as US is holding his own. He even gets Chaos in some trouble.
- Euritar is out next at number 7. He joins US in working over Chaos.
- Sur eliminates The Tall Man. The Tall Man seems very angry and tries going after Sur.
- Euritar and US eliminate Ultimate Chaos. Henry is beside himself.
- King Tux comes out at number 8.
- Euritar is rocking Tux. To save himself Tux rolls under the bottom rope to the floor.
- US is fighting with Sur when Sur goes thru a Reversion which makes it easier for US to eliminate Sur.
- Out at number 9 is the returning new and improved Faller.
- With Euritar distracted King Tux gets in the ring and attacks him from behind. Tux is in a feeding frenzy and just pounding on Euritar. Tux hits a Belly Flop. Some more offense and a second Belly Flop. Tux can't quite get Euritar over the top. A Tuxedo Tuck took the last of the fight out of Euritar and Tux eliminated him.
- Turmoil is number 10, half way thru. He gets in the ring and King Tux, feeling full of himself, grabs Turmoil and tosses him into the far ropes. Tux gets ready for a back body drop but Turmoil hits a DDT on him then tosses Tux over top rope and eliminates him.
- Faller runs at Turmoil. Turmoil hits him with a big boot to knock him down. Some offense and Turmoil eliminates Faller.
- Captain Crossbones is out next at number 11.
- Mass is number 12 entrant.
- Mass goes at the Gladiator right away and is quickly eliminated by Turmoil.
- Number 13 is Splatter X which seems appropriate.
- US Patriot II eliminates Captain Crossbones to continue his good showing.
- The 14th man out is someone not seen in GWF in some years, Crush. He is not wearing any Gladiator gear or face paint.
- Crush sees Turmoil and puts his hands up and starts backing up as he wants no trouble with the Gladiator. Unfortunately he backs up right into Splatter X. Crush turns around, Splatter X hits him with Face Splatter and Crush gets eliminated.
- Vacant comes out at number 15. He gives Crush a disgusted look as they pass.
- Kill Prey is number 16.
- US uses the Freedom Flyer on Turmoil and eliminates him.
- Splatter X comes up behind US and tosses him over the top to eliminate him.
- Number 17 is Overtime.
- Vacant and Kill Prey are battling. Vacant is getting the better of the vet. He goes and climbs the corner and Kill Prey shoves him off to the floor to eliminate him.
- Paralyze comes out at number 18.
- Splatter X eliminates Kill Prey.
- Code Destroyer is out next and number 19.
- Code Destroyer goes right at Overtime. The former tag mates go hard at each other and Overtime eliminates Destroyer.
- The final entrant, number 20, comes out and it's Endgame.
- We are down to the final four of Splatter X, Paralyze, Overtime and Endgame.
- Endgame eliminates Paralyze.
- Splatter X eliminates Overtime.
- The last two stare each other down. They know the winner will get a title shot. Splatter X made the first move as he slowly walked toward Endgame. They exchanged vicious blows. Endgame was fresher do to coming in last and it seemed to be the difference as Splatter X started to fade and Endgame was able to clothesline him over the top rope. Your winner, Endgame.
The crowd cheered for Endgame and he seemed taken back by it.
Finally it was time for the main event. Maramus came out first but no sign of Nightmare. Although that was not surprising. The champion Godsend was out next.
Godsend over Nightmare by disqualification to retain the Castilex Heavyweight Championship.
This match lived up to they hype with the exception of no clear winner. Nightmare sprang out of the mist to attack Godsend to begin the match. Nightmare was relentless. He hit Godsend with everything he had. Four near falls including two after hitting his finisher. Nightmare kept attacking. Godsend bailed to the floor and Nightmare went after him. He smashed Godsend's head into the ring stairs and busted him open. The ref almost DQ'd him but he stopped and took the action back inside the ring.
More offense in the ring but he made one mistake and Godsend jumped on it. Godsend started fighting back using his wide array of offensive moves including some submission holds and maybe a choke or two. Then it was Nightmares turn to apply the pressure. Nightmare tossed Godsend to the floor and jumped over top rope and crashes into Godsend. Both men fought like wild animals and it seemed they would get disqualified but once again Nightmare took the match into the ring. However shortly later frustration took hold and he tossed Godsend out to the floor. This time he lost his cool, grabbed a chair and blasted the champion. The ref had had enough and called for the bell. The crowd boo'd as they wanted a clear winner not a DQ. Nightmare rolled the bloodied and bruised champ into the ring to continue the assault. Security and officials ran down to the ring. The lights went out for a bit and when they came on Maramus and Nightmare were gone. Godsend laid in the middle of the ring bleeding and looking like a broken man.
