Holy snap! Devastation Corps absolutely killed it in the tag gauntlet to earn their spot in this year's edition of the World Tag League... Should be exciting to see if they can display that kind of dominance throughout the competition itself... Tell you one thing - It's not hard to imagine the final being a rematch of last year's encounter between them and the eventual winners, Giant Baba & The Destroyer...
Looks like Eddie Gilbert is now holding all the cards in his long standing feud with Quackenbush... Definitely wondering where the former owner of the Chikara brand goes from here...
Awesome stuff, my friend... As always!

Fantastic ECW card cruefan68! Was really pulling for both Jigsaw and Mike Quackenbush to win. Rough circumstances. As Pariah said - gotta wonder where this leads both Quack and Jigsaw. Wouldn't mind seeing them either in the Real World Tag League Tournament - (provided they can get along) - or a rival competetive division. But however it shakes out I'm positive that it's going to work for me. I always have the vision in my head of those standings pages that were always in Pro Wrestling Illustrated, when I read any of your divisions in this incredible LOW fed of yours. All these divisions and a Little Beaver - what more could you want? The Voodoo That Cruedoo Continues...

Just got caught up on all of the LOW action! Great stuff as always, especially that last ECW show. It looks like Mike Quackenbush’s effort to reclaim Chikara has come to an end (at least for now) with both Quack and Jigsaw run out of the territory. And that last bit with Eddie Gilbert donning Jigsaw’s mask was a fantastic and unexpected final slap in the face to Quack. Loved it! I think ECW has eclipsed ASW as my favorite of your territories. Though Lance and Jimmy’s verbal jousting will always keep me entertained.

Thanks for the comments Troy, Pariah, Bri and Aceldamas. Although some are disappointed over the fate of Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw, I think it gives ECW a new outlook and now Eddie Gilbert can focus on building things without the constant interruptions from them. How Eddie will build his ECW is another story, and yes, Acaldemas, the Jigsaw mask spot was a nice jab at the departed Quack.
I was slightly disappointed at Devastation Corporation running roughshod over the gauntlet match as I was hoping a new team would make it into Real World Tag League II. However, you have to hand it to them as it was a great win and it will be interesting to see how they do this year.
Aceldamas, we can never have enough of Lance Russell and Jimmy Hart so expect to see more of that on future ASW broadcasts.
Sorry for the long delay in between show postings but I have another one ready so coming up next is some ACW action...

LOW Atlantic Coast Wrestling - Norfolk Scope - Norfolk, VA (Card #1233)
Quick Results:
1) Alexis Smirnoff (with “Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff) defeated Danny Doring (Pinfall – Clothesline)
2) “Wildfire” Tommy Rich, Danny Hodge & Mike Graham defeated “Larry “The Axe” Hennig, Angelo Poffo & Randy Rose (Danny Hodge pinned Randy Rose – Oklahoma Side Roll)
3) LOW Ring Angels title: Leilani Kai© defeated Nora Greenwald to retain the title (Submission – Boston Crab)
4) The Mongols & Missing Link (with Rock Riddle) defeated Redd Dogg, Sam Houston & Tracy Smothers (Geeto Mongol pinned Tracy Smothers – Mongolian Drop)
5) LOW Tex-Arkana Television title: The Patriot defeated “A Double” Austin Aries (with Percy Pringle III) to win the title (Pinfall – Patriot Missile)
6) Real World Tag League II Qualifier: Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Bobby Eaton, with Jim Cornette) defeated Bob & Brad Armstrong (Dennis Condrey pinned Brad Armstrong - Midnight Massacre, a back suplex and top rope elbow to the throat combo)
7) Blackjack Mulligan & Tyler Black defeated Johnny Valentine & Masked Superstar (Blackjack Mulligan pinned Johnny Valentine – Diving Bodypress)
8) Harley Race defeated Magnum T.A. (Pinfall – Piledriver)
Match Highlights: The show opened with the ACW debut of Alexis Smirnoff, the big 265-pound Russian out of Leningrad, taking on Danny Doring of LOW All-Star Wrestling. Smirnoff was accompanied by the “Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff who would play a deciding factor in the match. Doring battled impressively against his larger foe including scoring near falls with a counter sunset flip and the Danaconda. A second sunset flip counter was broken up by Koloff who distracted the referee. Smirnoff then distracted the ref as well allowing Koloff to bash Doring in the head with his chain. Smirnoff followed with a big Clothesline for the three count. Doring was upset backstage and with the assistance of ACW officials he secured a tag team match for him and Amish Roadkill who will face Koloff and Smirnoff on the next edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling in Memphis, TN (Card #1241).
Trios action saw the popular team of “Wildfire” Tommy Rich, Danny Hodge & Mike Graham take on the combined forces of Larry “The Axe” Hennig, Angelo Poffo & Randy Rose. The action was fast and furious early and included the powerful Hennig scoring a two count on Rich after a barrage of punches in the corner. Rich battled back against all three men with the elbow smash and right uppercut, often in combination. Hodge and Graham fared well during their time in and did a good job of isolating Rose. After a rough six-way exchange on the floor it was Hodge, a six-time LOW Junior Heavyweight champion, pinning Rose with his Oklahoma Side Roll.
The popular Nora Greenwald, a former Ring Angels Champion, was looking to regain the gold as she faced defending champion Leilani Kai hailing from Pearl City, HI. Greenwald looked great early with some nice counters and a snap suplex for a near fall. The veteran Kai would later strike back with a counter lariat out of the corner for a big near fall. She then locked on a Boston Crab hold near the corner and went for the submission. Greenwald attempted to push out of it, but each time Kai rested her head on the second turnbuckle for added leverage. The referee failed to see that, and Greenwald was forced to concede the match in controversial fashion. Kai won it by submission in her version two defense of the LOW Ring Angels Championship.
Another big trios match saw Redd Dogg lead Sam Houston & Tracy Smothers into battle against the Rock Riddle-managed trio of The Mongols (Bepo & Geeto) and the Missing Link. The rivalry between Redd Dogg and the Link has lit up the ACW territory and this match continued the intensity. The Link got the upper hand on his rival and set up an attack by The Mongols with Geeto hitting the Top Rope Knee Drop for a big near fall. Houston tagged in and fared very wall against his larger opponents hitting such moves as the dropkick and cross body block. Smothers did the same and that had Riddle going crazy at ringside. Riddle was smiling by the end, though, as The Mongols combined to hit the devastating Mongolian Drop on Smothers with Geeto covering him to score the pin.
History was made in Norfolk as The Patriot, the popular masked grappler hailing out of Columbia, SC, became the new LOW Tex-Arkana Television champion defeating “A Double” Austin Aries. Accompanied by his manager Percy Pringle III, the confident Aries looked for a successful version two defense of the title after having recently won the gold from The Mountie in a heated match. He was on the defensive early, though, as The Patriot struck with some powerful offense. Aries countered and delivered a frog splash for a two count which had Pringle arguing with the referee about a slow count. A big spot saw Pringle attempt to interfere, but The Patriot whipped Aries into his manager and then hit Uncle Slam for a big near fall. Aries regrouped and went for his trademark 450 Splash, but The Patriot rolled out of the way. Pringle was beside himself as The Patriot came off the top rope in succession, first with a flying clothesline and next with the Patriot Missile to score the pin. The crowd erupted in cheers as The Patriot was crowned the new Tex-Arkana Television champion capturing his first championship in LOW. Aries looked on in disbelief and then argued with Pringle as the two returned to the back.
The Jim Cornette-led Midnight Express (“Loverboy” Dennis Condrey & “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton) took on the father-and-son team of “Bullet” Bob & Brad Armstrong in a qualifying match for the Real World Tag League II tournament. These two teams have already had some heated exchanges in ACW and this one was no exception. The Armstrong’s got off to a hot start isolating Condrey and keeping Eaton out of the match. “Bullet” Bob connected with his trademark Georgia Jawjacker resulting in a big near fall. Cornette was beside himself watching the match unfold. Brad also got the better of Condrey and set him up for a sleeper hold by Bob. Condrey finally made a counter and that led to a big turnaround in the action. This time it was Brad that was isolated from making the tag giving “Bullet” Bob some anxious moments. It wasn’t long before Cornette’s men ended it as they hit the devastating Midnight Massacre on Brad with Condrey scoring the pin as Eaton cut off a save attempt. The win means that the Midnight Express are headed to Japan where they will join such teams as Rikidozan & Jim Londos and ECW’s Devastation Corporation in the A Block.
The semi-final was a huge tag team attraction as Blackjack Mulligan teamed up with Tyler Black to take on Johnny Valentine and the Masked Superstar. Four top singles stars were featured in a tag team war that was waged in and out of the ring and included both a ref bump and an unlikely deathjump attack leading to the finish. The ref bump took place when the Superstar avoided a deathjump by Black and that led to him and Valentine going on a huge offensive. The Superstar used both the Cobra Hold and Swinging Neckbreaker and Valentine hit an Atomic Skullcrusher on Black with the referee out of action. Black was in a bad way, but he managed to make a hot tag that resulted in Mulligan nailing the Superstar with a big Lariat for a near fall. The action continued at a furious pace with Black gaining revenge as he wore out both Valentine and the Superstar with Paroxysm, a spinning inverted implant DDT. Mulligan tagged in and, as Black tackled the Superstar, the big man came off the top rope deathjump (ch) style with a 340-pound Diving Bodypress on Valentine to score the pin. It was an unlikely finish and a huge win for the fan favorites, Mulligan and Black.
The main event was a long awaited rematch from Greensboro, NC (Card #1214) as Magnum T.A. took on Harley Race in a battle of former LOW World Heavyweight champions. That night in Greensboro it was Magnum that came out on top and that was a defeat that hung with Race who boldly challenged the Virginia Beach native to a rematch in his own backyard. With the home crowd support, Magnum got off to an explosive start nailing Race with a barrage of dropkicks and running forearms. He also survived a Piledriver by Race as he got his foot over the bottom rope at the count of two. Race then hit a Vertical Suplex for another near fall before going up to the top rope for a deathjump attack. It looked as if he intended to hit the Diving Headbutt but never got the chance as Magnum picked him off with a bodyslam. The fired up Magnum unleashed another strong offensive but was unable to execute his finisher, the Belly to Belly Suplex. Race took control on the outside dropping Magnum throat first on the guard rail and a short time later he executed another Piledriver to score the pin. The crowd jeered the decision heavily, but Race wasn’t phased by the reaction as he looks ahead hoping to gain an opportunity at the LOW World Heavyweight title. Even in defeat, Magnum must be thinking the same so perhaps a third showdown between these two may be in order in ACW.
ACW Top 10 Rankings:
1) Harley Race 2) Magnum T.A. 3) Blackjack Mulligan 4) Johnny Valentine 5) Tyler Black 6) Danny Hodge 7) Masked Superstar 8) Tommy Rich 9) Larry Zbyszko 10) Ivan Koloff

Thoroughly enjoyed that high risk finish by Mulligan... Definitely the highlight of an exciting show, imo... And would not mind seeing him team up with Tyler Black again in the future... Pleased that Midnight Express qualified for this year's World Tag League... Although I respect the Armstrong father-son duo, it just seems fitting that Jim Cornette and his racket wielding antics will play some part in this grand LOW tag team competition... Once again, I must remark upon the LOW Tex-Arkana title situation... Normally, I would have been cheering for Aries to successfully defend against The Patriot... But, after the way he stole the belt from The Mountie, I simply cannot find any forgiveness in my heart... Though luck, A-Double... Totally stoked to see this post, my friend... And I hope all manner of things are going well in your life... And BTW, have you watched 'The Dirt' yet? (Haha! Silly question... I'm sure you have.) I absolutely LOVED IT! Despite the obvious artistic freedom that was exercised while making it... Still thought it painted a pretty good picture of some of the demons these guys have faced while still managing to be one of the most entertaining rock n' roll acts in the history of music... Good times!

Great that you got in some playing time cruefan68! This was a great card and I really enjoyed the main event especially. Harley Race is definitely building some momentum here towards a title shot. Never have paired Tyler Black and Blackjack Mulligan together before - but this combo seems like it just was meant to be. Can't wait for the Real World Tag League to start up. Amazing competition in there. The upcoming Golden Age Wrestling card looks incredible. Especially The Kangaroos vs Bockwinkel & Stevens - but really pulling for The Crusher to wrest the LOW International title from Blassie. Or at least try. Hope you get some more playing in brother!

Nice card but #1234 has a solid line up and should have excellent bell to bell action.
