One of my all time favirites, I used his black and white card for awhile as my avatar on the previous discussion board. Very appropriate that Splatter is the one whose art is revealed the week of Halloween. Splatter looks like he just stepped off the set of a horror movie. Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Freddie Krueger & Leatherface can't hold a candle--or Arsenal--to Splatter!

Still unsure how I am feeling on this one... Werner's art is, as always, amazing, just really not how I have always envisioned Splatter (for the record, my absolute, hands down, unequivocal favorite of all time)... I think it is the red, always saw it as a lighter color where his victim's blood would show up clearly... and Arsenal should have a flatter, wider top because Arsenal was meant for bashing in heads!! This stick in his hands looks like Arsenal's little brother... I agree. I always pictured Splatter in white.

Yeah I always had escaped mental patient imagery for him.

I'm not sure if this has been asked, but are we going to see the classics continue to be done like this? I think it would be huge for FG to do it... even if it was one set a year. I assume it would take a long time unless two sets were done are year... or more. It'd be nice to go up to 2118.

I'm not even sure one a year is too likely. Hopefully eventually but it really depends on how many people would buy it especially those who are long past those years.

I'm more likely to buy 2088 if I know this will continue. If not, I don't see the point. Yeah, I could see 2087 being done as a one time thing; however, with this, I would hope that this will continue. With the size of player base here and those that don't even visit the forum, I've never understood the "selling well" idea. Don't we buy it all up anyway? I would think FG makes more money than spends when it comes to the art and printing, but I'm probably wrong.

I'm not sure if this has been asked, but are we going to see the classics continue to be done like this? Plans are always subject to change but right now the answer is yes. It is a priority to release 2088-2092. If those do well we will probably see more. We get regular requests by long time fans interested in color classics and new fans who have purchased 2087 and want more. Great question and thanks for bringing it up.
