Thanks for the feedback TTX . Savage has been a beast for me from the moment he debuted. I was shocked the he was able to dispose of Thesz so quickly. My original booking was to have Thesz and Savage have a much closer contest in Ottawa that would lead to a best of three falls encounter as part of the Jingle Brawl. Savage v. Valentine was definitely the back up plan but I was happy that it gives me the opportunity to give Valentine another shot at Savage after the results of their previous match. Abdullah v. Brody is one match I am looking forward to rolling out.

December 8, 2019 – Card #62 – Leamington Arena, Leamington, Ontario
Joe Blanchard defeated Robert Gibson w/Ricky Morton. This was a lengthy battle between two unlikely foes as Robert Gibson made his return to action from injury in a rare singles appearance. The action went back and forth and was closely contested from the outset. Neither competitor was able to gain a prolonged advantage and displayed excellent counter attacks. In the end, it was Blanchard’s slight power advantage that allowed him to gain control of the action and he showcased his scientific skills using first a Boston Crab to slow Gibson down before later trapping him with his finishing abdominal stretch. Gibson used the support of the fans to find the strength to reach the ropes but Blanchard went back to his finisher immediately and this time Gibson had to submit. Bruiser Brody crushed Wild Bill White. After his surprize appearance last week, Bruiser Brody made his first official appearance in a Maple Leaf Wrestling ring and hit was a train wreck. White was immediately overwhelmed. Brody landed an elbow to the top of the skull from the top and then connected with a jumping knee drop for the win in four moves!
Miracle & Violence Connection downed Armstrongs. This was a hard hitting battle from the opening the bell. Terry Gordy & Steve Williams controlled the early action against their smaller opponents but both Armstrongs showed some incredible toughness surviving a piledriver from Terry Gordy and later an OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE from “Dr. Death” before being able to turn the momentum in their own favour. Brad Armstrong employed a sleeper to slow the attack of Williams and nearly put his down with the move. Gordy survived a GEORGIA JAWJACKER from the “Bullet” as well. Bob Armstrong then became trapped in the ring for a prolonged period which had the fans frantic for a comeback. Brad Armstrong was able to finally get the hot tag and the action went back and forth. “Bullet” Bob Armstrong got back into the match and appeared to be gaining momentum when Williams was joined by Gordy for a double football tackle that knocked the wind out of Armstrong and allowed Gordy to cover him for the win.
Mad Dog Vachon over Johnny Mantell. Morgan Dollar has strict instructions for both men. Mad Dog Vachon came out strong and planted Mantell with a piledriver in the opening minute of the match but somehow Mantell just got his shoulder up. Vachon kept coming and Mantell showed some extreme toughness battling back including running Vachon into the ring steps outside. Mantell’s run was short as the Vachon crushed him with a backbreakder for a near fall before taking Mantell outside and then landing a double foot stomp from the apron to the floor onto a prone Mantell. Mantell could not recover and was counted out of the ring.
Jimmy Snuka pinned Frank Dalton. Dalton had some underhanded tactics early on to give him the upper hand but the fans were backing the Superfly tonight and he rallied with chops and slams. A power slam nearly ended it before Snuka landed a flying head butt for the pin. Snuka celebrates his victory but is attacked from behind by Abdullah The Butcher and Rock Riddle. Snuka quickly goes down but Bruiser Brody hits the ring with chain swinging breaking up the attack and sending the attackers and fans fleeing for their lives. Brody then leaves just as quickly as he arrived leaving a grateful but stunned Superfly in the ring. Ricky Morton w/Robert Gibson defeated “Mr. Electricity” Steve Regal by disqualification. After trading victories in recent weeks, Regal petitioned for this deciding showdown between the two competitors. Morgan Dollar had strict instructions for both men before the bell. Morton came to compete and dominated the early action in this one picking up multiple near falls including one after a spectacular looking cross body block that many fans thought would end it. Regal was able to roll through a second cross body attempt for a near fall of his own and then went on his own offensive run. Morton kicked out another pin attempt after a stun gun before drawing on the fans support to mount an impressive comeback. A huracanrana nearly ended it and Regal bailed to the floor. Morton followed but Regal was ready smashing him with a chair. Morgan Dollar called for the bell as Robert Gibson rushed to his partner’s aid but Regal dropped him with a chair shot as well. Regal then told the fallen Rock ‘n’ Roll Express “Jim Cornette” says to say hello” and walks away to great heat.
Lou Thesz pinned Blackjack Mulligan. Despite the size disadvantage facing Thesz the former Canadian Heavyweight Champion had all the answers to Mulligan’s tactics and power with a solid scientific attack mixed with forearms and rib punches. An airplane spine dropped Mulligan to the mat and lead directly to a Greco-Roman Backdrop giving the Thesz the one sided victory.
Northern Lights Champion Johnny Saint defeated Chaz Taylor. Morgan Dollar was in charge of the action after the handshakes. Taylor wrestled like there was no tomorrow and pressed the attack from the opening the bell keeping the Champion off balance with his agility and speed. Taylor connected with a cartwheel and superkick that nearly won him the title for a second time. Saint used the Russ Abbot to turn thing around and the fans were treated to stellar back and forth battle from that point. Both men traded counters and moves with near perfect precision that seemed would go on indefinitely. Saint was able to catch Taylor with a cobra clutch suplex then trapped his challenge in a three in one for the submission to retain the belt. Handshakes at the end of the match and a standing ovation for both competitors. Canadian Open Tag Team Champions Valiant Brothers downed Flying Redheads by disqualification. Morgan Dollar drew back to back assignments and called for the bell. The Redheads came out on fire and had “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant to the mat for a huge near fall in the opening minute. Valiant bailed and Red Bastien followed but paid the price when Valiant whipped Bastien into the ring post busting him wide open. The Valiant attacked with remorse and only the timely save of Billy Red Lyons kept the challengers in the match. Lyons was able to get the hot tag and the momentum changed. The Valiants were in serious trouble the fans exploded when a bloodied Bastien tagged back in to get his payback but Bastien took things two far when he made use of a chair to clubber Jimmy Valiant earning a disqualification. The Champions quickly grabbed their belts and fled ringside leaving a frustrated Flying Redheads in the ring with their fans. Magnum T.A. & Johnny Valentine beat Canadian Heavyweight Champion “Macho Man” Randy Savage & Commonwealth Champion Ted DiBiase by disqualification. Savage wanted nothing to do with either competitor early on as DiBiase carried the workload for his team. Savage eventually tagged in against Allen but quickly lost control leading to a showdown with Valentine who punished Macho Man with chops and downed him for a near fall after a atomic skullcrusher. The fans loved it but DiBiase was able to mount a comeback for his team using a full power slam and figure four leglock on Valentine but he could not get the win. The action went back and forth with all four men seeing action until the frustrations of the Commonwealth Champion came to the surface when he decked Valentine with the title belt and was disqualified. It was chaos after the bell with the champions laying the beating to the next challengers to their titles. December 15, 2019 – Card #63 – Kitchener Memorial Arena, Kitchener, Ontario
“Exotic” Adrian Street defeated Ron Hutchison. The fans were not exactly sure what to make of the newest competitor to arrive in Maple Leaf Wresting the United Kingdom other then he was taking on local favourite Hutchison and therefore was not likely to be trusted. Street dominated this one from the outset and had just too many weapons for Hutchison to manage. Street scored several near falls and then claimed the submission with a scorpion death lock.
Nora Greenwald over Melina. Trillium action was up next and Morgan Dollar has strict instructions for both competitors before the bell. Despite the warming of the official, both ladies pushed the envelope with chokes and brawling at times. The action was back and forth. Melina hit her finisher Primal Scream twice but could not get the victory before Greenwald was able to catch her opponent on the top of the corner and toss Melina to the mat. The momentum had shifted and Greenwald controlled the balance of the match getting the victory after her own finisher, the flipping seated senton.
Johnny Mantell pinned Tully Blanchard w/J.J. Dillon. Blanchard and Dillon were out to solid heat before the bell and Blanchard showed his wrestling skill early winning the counter battle before he showed he could mix it up as well. Mantell drew on the support of the fans and battled back with uppercuts, headscissors and suplexes. Texas Tumbleweed connected as did an impressive back to back swinging neckbreaker. The action went outside and Blanchard was sent into the ring post shoulder first after a reversal. Back in the ring, Mantell downed Blanchard with a perfect butterfly suplex and scored the pin before Dillon could cause a distraction. Rock ‘n’ Roll Express bested Flying Redheads. After strong instructions from Morgan Dollar the two teams shook hands and the action was underway at a quick pace as you would expect from these two teams. The Express were in sync tonight and frustrated the first Billy Red Lyons and later Red Bastien with their quickness and skill. Lyons kicked out after a cross body block from Morton and managed to get a much needed tag to Bastien but a slingshot stomp stopped Bastien’s momentum and gave the advantage back to the Express. Robert Gibson was able to catch Bastien flush with an enzuigiri and it was enough to get the win. Johnny Valentine bested Mad Dog Vachon. The fans knew that this one was going to be hard hitting and the competitors did not disappoint. This was an opportunity for Vachon to move up the contenders ladder and he took full advantage crushing Valentine with three back to back to back piledrivers early in the match but he could not get the three count. Valentine showed incredible toughness battling back leading to his own finisher, the atomic skullcrusher, for a near fall of his own. Vachon landed multiple Mad Dog Pounces that took a toll on his opponent. The fight went outside and Valentine was able to win an exchange. Later, during another brawl on the floor, Vachon cracked Valentine across the back with a chair leading to a near count out finish. The action went back into the ring and ragged back and forth until Valentine lit up Vachon with a series of chops and forearms leading to another atomic skullcrusher for the victory.
Miracle & Violence Connection over Armstrongs. Steve Williams & Terry Gordy are clearly not in a good mood and get under the skin of Morgan Dollar before the bell. “Bullet” Bob Armstrong controls Gordy from the bell and Brad Armstrong uses his speed to maintain the advantage before tagging his father back into the match. Gordy changes the momentum with a lariat that nearly kills Armstrong. “Dr. Death” tags into the action with a lariat of his own that sends the “Bullet” to the mat in a heap. Gordy than blind tags into the action and joins Williams for a double football tackle that knocks Armstrong into next week and leads to the three count.
Sherri Martel pinned Jazz. There was a lot of anticipation heading into this match up. Martel pressed the attack early on and controlled the match. Jazz was able to counter a backdrop with a piledriver before delivering a double underhook suplex that shock the ring. Martel was able to execute a piledriver counter of her own which was enough of an opening for Martel to execute her top rope splash and claim the win.
Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka defeated Abdullah The Butcher & Frank Dalton w/Rock Riddle by disqualification. The fans are on their feet when Morgan Dollar sends Rock Riddle to the back before the bell. Snuka and Brody cut off Dalton from his corner from the outset of the match but we only able to get a two count before Dalton was able to tag in The Butcher who stepped into action against the Superfly. Snuka controlled the action with his agility before rocking the fans with a power slam that nearly broke the ring. Brody tagged in and the fans exploded as he tore into The Butcher in and out of the ring. Butcher barely kicked out of several covers including one after a jumping knee drop. Snuka came back into the ring and took the fight to the floor taking a chair from Butcher and cracking him with it. The battled back to the floor and Butcher took out a fork and attacked Superfly with the weapon. Dollar would have none of it and called for the disqualification. Brody grabbed his chains and chased both Butcher and Dalton to the back leaving a bloodied and dazed Snuka in the ring. Canadian Heavyweight Champion “Macho Man” Randy Savage w/Sherri Martel defeated Northern Lights Champion Johnny Saint by disqualification. Savage had serious heat from the outset of the match and Saint responded to the fans support by giving Savage all he could handle and then some. Savage scored with his feared flying elbow smash early but Saint kicked out and that started an incredible run of mat wrestling that turned Savage inside out. Savage barely escaped Three In One. Savage was able to avoid a Johnny Saint Special late in the match before hitting his own finisher a second time. Saint lifted the shoulder in a kick out that had Martel screaming from ringside. The action when outside and Saint slammed Savage through a ringside table with a fireman’s carry from the apron. The fans were chanting as the bell sounded. Savage was announced the winner but was left in a heap.
Magnum T.A. beat Commonwealth Champion Ted DiBiase to win the title. Allen is fired up from the bell and has DiBiase in a position for a belly to belly suplex that nearly ends it. DiBiase barely hangs on after dropkicks and a scorpion death lock. DiBiase then stumbles into a belly to belly suplex and Morgan Dollar makes the three count. Big victory for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express giving them some much needed momentum heading into the Steel Cage showdown with the Heavenly Bodies next week at the Jingle Brawl . . . Despite coming out on the losing end, Northern Lights Champion Johnny Saint made a big statement tonight . . . It is rare that the fans are treated to a double shot of Trillium action but Martel v. Jazz was a much talked about encounter before tonight and will likely continue to be talked about considered the match never really got going before Martel took the victory . . . Mad Dog Vachon came back against “Mr. Electricity” Steve Regal. The fans were reminded that not only is threat to the Heavyweight Title he is also one of the smaller competitors in the territory and potential contender for the Northern Lights Title. Regal was seeking his own title opportunity and took the fight to Vachon early on including a FT. Lauderdale Leglock that nearly picked up an early submission. Regal had his foe well scouted and was able to use his agility and speed to capitalized on several mistakes by Vachon. One such exchange saw Regal counter a backdrop with a inside cradle for a big near fall and later Regal countered another backdrop with a piledriver. Eventually, Vachon found an opening and went on the attack punching, clawing and biting his way through Regal. He landed several Mad Dog Pounces that took a significant toll and it was that very move that lead to the three count.
Joe Blanchard defeated “Exotic” Adrian Street. More Northern Lights Action followed as Morgan Dollar called for the bell. Street jumped into the arms of his opponent and attempted to kiss him which proved a mistake as Blanchard slammed Street to the mat and went work. Blanchard controlled early but Street showed he was no slouch when it came to countering trapping Blanchard in a London Bridge Leglock for a near submission and later using a crucifix to nearly end it. Blanchard came back running Street shoulder first into the ring post. From that point, Blanchard pushed the attack twice trapping Street in his finisher abdominal stretch but Street made the ropes each time. Finally, a third abdominal stretch was enough to give Blanchard the victory. Johnny Mantell stunned Tully Blanchard w/J.J. Dillion by count-out. For the second straight card, Mantell found a way to get the best of his Blanchard. Blanchard went on the attack immediately with a knee smash and then nailed Mantell in the chops with a foreign object which was quickly hidden by Dillon. With the fans crying foul, the action when to the floor and Mantell was able to send Blanchard to the ring steps. They went back to the floor where Mantell countered a piledriver with a backdrop that sent Blanchard sprawling to the floor at the count of eight. Mantell was able to just roll into the ring as the referee counted ten and picked up a huge victory. Jimmy Snuka crushed Frank Dalton. Morgan Dollar had his hand full for this one but it was over quickly as Superfly went on the immediately offensive and a power slam picked up a near fall after only a couple of minutes. A Superfly Leap followed and end things between these two competitors. Glamour Girls over Tina Moretti & Madison Rayne. This Trillium Division encounter was closely contested in the early going with Moretti and Rayne making a series of tag to keep the Glamour Girls on the defensive. However, the experience of the Girls as a team allowed them to cut off Rayne from her corner and the end came shortly after that. The Girls combined for a vicious gut buster and then Kai landed a running splash to get the pin. After the match, Rayne was not pleased that Moretti did not make the save and took out Moretti with a Rayne Check.
Ted DiBiase & Miracle & Violence Connection beat Commonwealth Champion Magnum T.A. and Armstrongs. Allen looked very impressive early on battling both members of the Miracle & Violence Connection as it appeared that DiBiase wanted nothing to do with the man who relieved him of the Commonwealth strap. The Armstrongs keep the pressure on but Terry Gordy and Steve Williams soon overpowered their smaller opponents. Allen was able to hot tag into action against Williams and two put on an impressive display of counters but Williams gained the advantage. Gordy then tagged in an went work. A piledriver picked up a near fall. Allen then kicked out after a Doctor Bomb from “Dr. Death” before DiBiase finally stepped into action against Allen and used a sleeper to nearly end it before trapping Allen in a figure four leglock for the submission as Morgan Dollar watched the action closely. Bruiser Brody bested Abdullah The Butcher w/Rock Riddle. This was a brawl from start to finish but it stayed in the ring but the fists were flying. Brody was able to eventually knock down Butcher to the mat and then quickly hit his jumping knee drop for the three count. Things did not stop at the bell as Brody grabbed his chain and went on the attack battering Butcher with the weapon. Brody then went after Riddle and bashed him as well. Butcher was left a bloody mess in the middle of the ring as Brody cut his way back to the dressing room with his chain swinging. Lou Thesz & Northern Lights Champion Johnny Saint beat Flying Redheads. Thesz showed his dominance taking on both members of the Redheads from the opening bell. Red Bastien struggled and gave way to his partner Billy Red Lyons who also fell victim to the offense of the former Canadian Champion and Thesz planted Lyons with a Thesz Press and Morgan Dollar made the three count. Canadian Heavyweight Champion “Macho Man” Randy Savage pinned Johnny Valentine. The fans are on their feet as Morgan Dollar sends Sherri Martel packing before the bell. Savage is upset with Dollar but soon channels his frustration into his attack against his challenger. Valentine is rocked by a flying axe-handle to the floor but that is only the beginning of the onslaught that includes a series of neckbreaker clothesline and knee drops. Valentine manages to kick out after three separate pin attempts before Savage lands a flying elbow smash and regains the title.
Heavenly Bodies w/Jim Cornette over Rock ‘n’ Roll Express in a Steel Cage Match. Returning from suspension seemed to motivate the Bodies who were able to match the Express move for move early on and then cut off Ricky Morton from his corner. Morton was beaten into a bloody mess. Robert Gibson saved his partner from a rocket launcher but was not able to make the save after a flapjack and the Bodies collected one of their biggest victories since their debut in the territory. News and Views: Jim Cornette could not have been more excited after tonight’s event as the Heavenly Bodies dismantled their foes Rock ‘n’ Roll Express inside a steel cage match . . . Despite not having his Valet in his corner, Canadian Heavyweight Champion Randy Savage put on a dominating performance in retaining his title . . . Lightning strikes twice and Johnny Mantell picks up back to back victories over Tully Blanchard in shocking fashion . . . The Glamour Girls showed that experience counts in tag team competition . . . A statement victory for former Commonwealth Champion Ted DiBiase & Miracle Violence Connection . . . Joe Blanchard gets the victory and has to be on the short list to be the next challenger for the Northern Lights Title . . . Steve Regal gave Mad Dog Vachon all he could handle in the opening match raising his stock considerably . . . The dream team of Johnny Saint and Lou Thesz proved a nightmare for the Flying Redheads however there was not much in the line of teamwork between Thesz & Saint as Thesz took tonight to show his dominance between the ropes singlehandedly besting the Redheads . . . Jimmy Snuka picked up a definitive victory over Frank Dalton . . . Tina Moretti was obviously less than pleased backstage after her match tonight after her tag team partner Madison Rayne left her in a heap. Moretti will no doubt be looking for an opportunity for payback at some point down the road . . . In the aftermath of the violence between Abdullah The Butcher & Bruiser Brody, Brody has been suspended for five cards. As well, Butcher is expected to miss several weeks of action himself . . .
Up next, Maple Leaf Wrestling makes it’s last stop of the year at the Garden City Arena in St. Catharines with the following matches set to take place: • Johnny Mantell looks to make it three in a row over Tully Blanchard when the two meet one on one as Blanchard looks to get his first victory in singles action • In a rematch from The Jingle Brawl, Mad Dog Vachon will again meet “Mr. Electricity” Steve Regal • Trillium Action will see Trish Stratus will take on Nora Greenwald. • Two tag teams looking to obtain a opportunity at the tag team championship will square off as the Armstrongs meet the Flying Redheads • The feud between Rock ‘n’ Roll Express and Heavenly Bodies continues to burn and the two sides will clash in a best of three falls encounter • In a battle of top contenders, Lou Thesz will step into the ring with Jimmy Snuka • In a special tag team attraction, Commonwealth Champion Magnum T.A. will team up with Northern Lights Champions Johnny Saint to face Ted DiBiase and Canadian Heavyweight Champion Randy Savage • In the main event, Miracle & Violence Connection have overcome their earlier struggles and powered their way to an opportunity at the Canadian Open Tag Team Championship held by the Valiant Brothers who have essentially owned the straps since March of this year

Ron Hutchison downed Wild Bill White. These two have battled several times in the past and this time Hutchison took command of the action which quickly lead to a Kiwi Roll for a near fall. White then found himself in a Shediac Lobster Trap with no other option other than to submit. Mad Dog Vachon over “Mr. Electricity” Steve Regal. After a thriller at the Jingle Brawl, the expected some intense action and Morgan Dollar had strict instructions for both men before the bell. Vachon never let Regal into the match and executed his finishing piledriver within the opening two minutes. Regal was able to get his shoulder up but Vachon cracked him with a gutbuster and scored the three count. Tully Blanchard w/J.J. Dillon pinned Johnny Mantell. After two straight losses to Mantell, Blanchard clearly had something to prove. Mantell was up to the task again in the early going but a foreign object blast from Blanchard turned the momentum of the contest. Blanchard battered Mantell on the floor under watchful eye of Dillon before hitting his slingshot suplex for his first victory in the territory. Trish Stratus defeated Nora Greenwald. Morgan Dollar calls for the bell and the action was fast paced from the outset. Stratus gets control during a brawl on the floor and then hits Stratusphere not once, but twice and gets the three count.

Armstrong catches Red Bastien with a Georgia Jawbreaker for a big near fall. The Armstrongs keep Bastien from getting the tag and Bob Armstrong catches Bastien with a two-handed bulldog for the win. Joe Blanchard beat Johnny Valentine. Joe Blanchard gets into the face of Morgan Dollar and the official appears shaken by the encounter. Valentine looks nearly unstoppable as he batters Blanchard in and out of the ring. Blanchard survives two Atomic Skullcrushers before rolling outside. Valentine follows and Blanchard eats a steel chair and is busted open. Back in the ring, Valentine hits a forearm hammer and appears to have the match won but Tully Blanchard hits the ring and attacks Valentine with a knee to the back. Dollar gets the invader out of the ring but Joe Blanchard takes full advantage of the interference of his son and wraps up Valentine in an abdominal stretch for the submission. Blanchard is joined by his son and his Manager J.J. Dillon jump Valentine and leave him in a heap as the fans fill the ring with trash.
In a Best of Three Falls Match, Rock ‘n’ Roll Express defeated Heavenly Bodies w/Jim Cornette 2:0. The opening fall is an absolute back and forth marathon. Ricky Morton takes an epic beating including a flapjack and several other double team maneuvers from the Bodies. Stan Lane is busted open when Robert Gibson sends him into the ring post. The Express draw on the fans support and complete their comeback with a double dropokick that puts down Lane for the victory while Robert Gibson blocks Tom Prichard from making the save. The Express dominate the early action of the second fall and only a pair of pin saves keep Lane alive after a dropkick from Morton and a double dropkick from the Express. The Bodies comes back but cannot maintain any momentum. Cornette is able to cause a distraction that saves Prichard from a double dropkick. An interference attempt from Cornette misses and his hits Prichard with his tennis racket instead of Morton. The Express control the balance of the action and Morton gets the pin with a cross body block deathjump to Prichard. Lou Thesz pinned Jimmy Snuka. Morgan Dollar is in charge of the action which starts with a handshake. Snuka uses his agility to keep Thesz off balance but makes a critical error when he mounts the corner too early. Thesz is able to toss Superfly to the mat and then hits a Thesz-Press for the win. Handshakes after the match and the fans give both men an ovation.
Canadian Open Tag Team Champions Valiant Brothers retained against Miracle & Violence Connection. The power of Terry Gordy & Steve Williams was on full display as they pushed around the champions from the opening bell. Both Valiant Brothers were treated to double football tackles early on before Williams nearly ended it after a Doctor Bomb to “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant. The Valiant Brothers managed to mount an improbable comeback including a double buckle whip to Gordy. The Champions were able to catch Williams in the corner with a choke out with the tag rope. Williams was never able to really recover and Jimmy Valiant caught Williams with an atomic drop and scored the pin from Morgan Dollar (snake eyes) to complete the comeback.
Canadian Heavyweight Champion “Macho Man” Randy Savage & Ted DiBiase bested Commonwealth Champion Magnum T.A. and Northern Lights Champion Johnny Saint by count-out. Savage and DiBiase looked impressive as a unit cutting off the smaller Saint from the outset and unleashing an epic beating. Allen was finally able to get into the match and took the fight to DiBiase and then Savage. Macho Man slowed the attack of the Commonwealth Champion with a double axe-handle to the floor. Savage followed with a Flying Elbow Smash but Allen proved difficult to defeat. The action continued with DiBiase & Savage tagging in and out keeping Allen away from his own corner. The action went to the floor and a well placed shoe from Sherri Martel to the back to Allen’s skull was enough to drop Allen for a ten count and Allen was counted out of the ring. Always good to see a Hutch win. Nice victory by Savage and DiBiase thanks to the Sensational Queen. Think the RNR and Bodies might be ready for some new opponents soon.

Thanks for the comments TTX . The plan was to have the cage match between the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express and Heavenly Bodies to be the blow off to the feud but the outcome was not what I hoped for. Had Morton and Gibson won, my plan was to bring back the Midnight Express (Eaton & Lane) to save Cornette from the cage match and kick off a new feud. The dice had other ideas. My current plan is to book the Express and Bodies into a series of stipulation matches to determine the winner of the feud. I was so disappointed with the run of the Miracle and Violence Connection that I sent them packing. I had high hopes for a significant run for the pairing and they just fizzled at every turn. The Valiant Brothers are on a crazy run with the Canadian Open Tag Team Titles while Savage appears to have a lock on the Canadian Title. Will see if the Commonwealth Title remains a hot potato in the new year. Thanks for following along everyone and all the best in the New Year!
