Ladies first and the tournaments are off to a start. Nice seeing Kelly Klein and Veda Scott advance amigo. Looking forward to the next round! Kelly and Veda were both favored in their matches, so I'm glad they won too. The other wins were all upsets. Men's First Round matches coming next. I hear Harley Race is a little miffed at only being ranked #4 and having to face "that fat wannabe Rusty Brooks" in the first round. Rusty Brooks is predicting an upset special!

PRESS CONFERENCE IXC ARENA, CENTERVILLE, OH NOVEMBER 30, 2018
Owner and Commissioner Scott held a Press Conference after the matches to address some issues that had come up during Week 2 of the Ladies' Tournament
Scott steps to the podium
Good evening to everyone. Coming out of Week 2 of the IXC Women Of Combat Tournament there were some issues that needed to be addressed, and I have called this press conference to address them at this time.
First of all, I shall address the situation with Phantasy. As you all know, KC Spinelli powerbombed Phantasy on the outside of the ring. We suspect that as a result of that maneuver and the action afterward, Phantasy suffered torn rib cartilage, a possible cracked rib, and a lacerated kidney. Though she was in obvious pain and discomfort, she is resting comfortably at the local medical facility, and has been assured by me personally that when the tournament is over and Block 1 is complete, she will enter the active roster on Block 2. KC Spinelli will not be fined or suspended, nor lose her place in the tournament, as she acted within the confines of a legal match.
Issue Number Two was the injury to Jessica James during her match with Kelly Klein. As you all know, Jessica was sent headfirst into a ringside guardrail, slicing her head open and causing a large cut. True to her reputation, Jessica continued to fight and nearly defeated Kelly Klein despite her condition. Jessica has been stitched up and will continue to compete in the tournament.
That brings us to Issue Number Three. Referee Bronco Lubich was reprimanded by me in regards to his performance tonight during the Kelly Klein-Jessica James match. When one fighter has another in a pinning or submission predicament, we expect our officials to be able to determine the other fighter's fitness to continue in a timely manner. On two occasions Bronco Lubich was unable to perform that duty. Whether or not that would have changed the outcome of the match has come into question. Since the match has taken place, the result will not be changed. We expect that Mr. Lubich will not let this become an issue in the future.
I appreciate your coming tonight as always, I will not be taking questions at this time, but will have an extended press conference tomorrow after Week 2 of the Men's Tournament. Thank You.
