Super Smash Brothers demolished Mark Andrews and Jervis Cottonbelly with the Game Genie. Mark Andrews never managed to tag out as Player Uno and Dos just toyed with him for a while before hitting their finishers and putting Andrews down for the three. Canada 1-0.
Flash Morgan Webster held off a game RJ City with The Strangler. This went back and forth with both having chances to win. City looked like he might have the match but Webster managed to avoid a late attack and locked in the Strangler and City passed out in it. Tied 1-1.
Jody Fleisch demolished Speedball Mike Bailey with the 720 DDT. This was one sided as Fleisch dominated the entire short match. He dropped the DDT in short order on Bailey for the win. U.K. 2-1.
Archibald Peck edged Pete Dunne with the Cranial Crescendo (+2). This was wild and both took a beating. It looked for a while that Peck would take it after a full strength Cranial Crescendo, but Dunne kept fighting back and locking in the Bitter End. Finally, Peck managed to reverse, hit Unchained Melody, His New Move and then the Cranial Crescendo for the three count. Tied 2-2.
Zack Sabre Jr. and Will Ospreay held off 3.0 when Sabre forced Matthews to submit to the Cross Armbreaker. 3.0 gave Sabre and Ospreay fits and nearly pulled off the upset a few times but late in the match Sabre caught Matthews napping and locked in the armbreaker for a quick tap. U.K. 3-2.
Kevin Steen put away Jonah Rock with F-Cinq. This was a bloodbath with both wrestlers getting in some good shots but Steen was just a beast in the end and Rock could not keep up with the thrashing, finally falling to the F-Cinq. Tied 3-3.
Canadian Vets bested Nigel McGuiness and Martin Stone following the Northern Lariat on Stone. This was a fun match with each team getting in some solid moves and taking near falls. In the end, the tag experience of Dux and Banks was the difference. Canada 4-3.
Josh Alexander battered Mark Haskins with the Twisting Tombstone. This was pretty much a squash with Alexander dominating most of the match before using the Tombstone to knock Haskins for a loop and covering for the victory. Canada 5-3.
Travis Banks stomped Ethan Page with the Avalanche Kiwi Crusher. Representing England even if he's from New Zealand, Banks took it to Page who never could get his bearings. A Lion's Clutch weakened Page and then Banks used the Avalanche version of his finisher to win the match. Canada 5-4.
Lance Steel knocked off Space Monkey with a flying cross bodypress. This was as comedic as one could have hoped. In a surprising twist, it was Steel who went to the air and used that to his advantage catching Space Monkey off guard for the pin. Tied 5-5.
New Hart Foundation took down Mustache Mountain with the Bulldog Bomb on Seven. This was somewhat disappointing as DBS dominated Seven and fairly quickly took him down with the Bulldog Bomb. Teddy Hart stopped Tyler Bate from getting involved. Canada 6-5.
Marty Scurll surprised Michael Elgin with the Low Blow. This was everything you could have hoped. Both wrestlers pulled out nearly every trick in their bag. Elgin probably would have won it except for a late referee bump on a mistimed deathjump. He pounded Scurll down but left one opening which Scurll used to catch Elgin with a low blow and covered for a sneaky three to tie things up. Tied 6-6.
The tie must be broken so a tie-breaker match would determine a winner.
Trish Stratus overcame Saraya Knight with Stratusfaction to give Canada the win. The two women battered each other across the ring but Stratus avoided a dive from Knight and countered it into the Stratusfaction to put Saraya down for the victory. Final Score Canada 7 U.K. 6.
