More family time & less road time is also invaluable for these guys. The bumps add up, the miles add on, & you get to be with the people in life who should be the most important. The memories I’ve made with my family supersede anything I could do in my professional life. No argument but the prison stuff is lame. Before Jon Moxley went to WWE “prison” where they paid him 2 million dollars a year and made him famous, he was a no name garbage wrestler smashing fluorescent light bulbs over his head for money. As far as AEW goes, I don’t see it. I’m gonna need more than Chris Jericho coming out from behind a palm tree in a Denny’s parking lot to challenge Kenny Omega to get excited.

I haven’t liked wrestling for years. Make money and do what makes you happy, just don’t moan about how terrible you were treated when you were coining it in.
And I love mullets. And rock n roll. I’m a professional musician. The mullet is powerful

Not as stoked about the PPV main event as I am too see what the tv product looks like. Jericho/Omega doesn’t do it for me either

I like this video, especially how it shows him symbolically escaping the "creative" creative prison, and returning to a character closer to himself. Kudos to Moxley.

I actually just posted in the CAC 2019 thread this video of Dean Ambrose (he was announced as Ambrose at the CAC) 2 nights ago at the CAC giving a speech intoducing his former trainer Cody Hawk, but then I remembered there was this current thread about the return of Jon Moxley so I decided to post it here too:

I have to say, up until now I didn't have a lot of interest in AEW outside of simple curiosity. But if Moxley shows up there, that will get my attention.

Honestly I can see him running into the same problems in AEW as he did in WWE. Only time will tell if things go his way they might book him to lose to all their talent to push theirs, specially when you have wrestlers running the show, that is a lot of egos to make happy.

Unfortunately, it's what wrestling has become. No one wants to be the guy who puts the stars over anymore. Part of the reason 50/50 booking is such a thing in the WWE is that people don't want to be booked to lose but there's only so many top slots and the way AEW is going they're going to have plenty of people unhappy with their situation in short order for that very reason.

This fact blew my mind: 86% of male wrestlers in WWE with 2 + years experience on the main roster have won a title. The women with 2 + years experience who have won a title are at 84% www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/comments/bhlzyb/51_of_59_864_male_wrestlers_with_2_full_years_on/
