1st half of the show doesn’t have the same feel of last 8 weeks. Post PPV blues maybe? The 15 Minute promo to start things off wasn’t the best of starts. No Bucks of Youth / Matt Hardy is disappointing.

That Jake promo was awesome.

THE GOOD:
Jericho/Mox opening. Never get tired of Jericho nonchalantly sh**ing on the fans.
Stu Gracen. Guy can go. He's just buried in a lame group.
I think we can safely say the Nightmare Collective is officially dead but... (see bad below)
Adam Page cleaning house. And flipping off Matt Jackson.
MJF's shirt. And him making fun of Cody's neck tattoo.
No Nyla Hose.
Main event was good with Darby holding his own with the odds against him. He was on fire but the result was what it should have been.
THE BAD:
Colt Cabana and his tired shtick seemed really out of place in the eight man match.
Big Swole v Leva. These two are miserable.
Cody and Jake Roberts. WTF was that supposed to be about? Another "dark" faction? That is becoming the deadest horse around.
Chuck Taylor clearly not in Pac's class as a performer.
Excalibur
Cody in three angles during the show. Try Hard Cody.
Brandi is still getting herself put on TV despite contributing nothing, over and over again.
Jake Hager looking gassed after two minutes (and during the attack on Mox). He should have looked stronger and squashed QT.
Overall, more bad than good. And the good did not outweigh the bad.
So much of this stuff seems forced rather than being allowed to develop.
Throwing people together for no reason (The Death Triangle? Why?) This is a sign of an overpopulated roster and a lack of ideas.
They keep doing things that leave the audience unsure of how to react (Jake/Cody). Trying too hard to be clever and not creative enough to pull it off and make it engaging.

All the Dark Factions is a bit strange. It sounds like 6-Man belts are at least in the plans, per Cody in a past interview. Chucks better than he gets credit for, and I think more suited as a heel eventually. But not many are on PACs level. He can’t fight Kenny every week. Jakes promo was pretty sweet. I think it picked up a little. I loved Colts finishing combo & was happy for him to be on National TV as CC. I really like Excalibur. Maybe being a fan before his signing. I know some of the older gents online (Cornette’s disciples) are upset about his mask. I think announcers should only be allowed to wear crowns and cowboy hats personally. The thought of a mask in professional wrestling is crazy. This has really been the only show all year that hasn’t been fantastic straight through, so my complaints are minor I guess.

There are ways to say this (easy ones, too) without coming off like an absolute asshole.

The thought of a mask in professional wrestling is crazy. This has really been the only show all year that hasn’t been fantastic straight through, so my complaints are minor I guess. I might temper my criticism a bit about guys like Cabana and the Bucks as there is a new and larger audience seeing them for the first time. Are they talented? Yes. Are they entertaining? Absolutely. But to someone like me who has been watching them for 10-15 years now, it's the same old shit. My point about Cabana here is this - I think we can agree that SCU/DO is a grudge situation. But then Colt gets thrown in there with his goofy routine and there's a dissonance with the theme of the match. Cabana has put his career into the box of being the jackoff on the show and it didn't fit here. Everything has it's place but not every thing belongs every place. As far as Excalibur goes, I could care less about the mask. I don't like his personality. At least not in this context. On hipster, indy shows where he's bantering with other wrestlers a'la PWG, fine. But here he comes across as a condescending, undercutting JR about the names of moves and things like that.

But I bet I could find a 100 posts on this board where you could've taken your own advice. Just sayin'. Yeah, find me 100 posts where I opted to post some transphobic shit. If the issue you had with her is that she's a bad wrestler (which is valid, because she only appears a good worker when compared to the tire fire that is most of that women's division), then that's one thing. You can easily articulate "this person sucks as a wrestler". You didn't, though, because that's not your main issue and we both know that and we both know you're not convincing me otherwise. So you opted to make a real edgy joke like a f ucking 14 year old on Reddit. And now I'm going to make use of the Proboards block feature because I really don't care enough to continue a conversation with someone like you and I don't really care what your rebuttal is going to be.

No, not transphobic at all. Wasn't really my point. But this is clearly too touchy of a conversation for the delicate sensibilities here. No reasonable discussion can be had when one jumps to such huge conclusions about another's character. By the way, shutting down a conversation doesn't make you right. It's like taking your ball and going home. That's what 14 year olds do.

Play nice boys.
Now back to the discussion...The episode last night wasn't as hot as the past few weeks for sure, but started to set a few things in motion for the next few months before Double or Nothing.
As for Excalibur, I think he is a crucial part of the announcing team and I am glad he is there. You need someone who knows the guys and the moves, which JR and Tony do not, and adds a bunch of credibility IMO. Tony doesn't contribute much in the booth and I wish Taz would be on Dynamite more often instead of Tony rather than just on Dark. Tony in the Mean Gene role is perfect. JR is fine out there, but often says stuff that totally has me rolling my eyes by some of the non-sensical or cringe-inducing comments he will make.
