I will be going to the Death Before Dishonor PPV on September 27th but not the TV tapings 28th (I have concert tickets- Social Distortin and Flogging Molly- with my friend Ofi downtown that night.) I might still attend the preshow meet and greet on the 28th since at Sam's Town you do not need a show ticket to attend the meet and greet (that is either out in the casino area or the pool area.)

ROH announced today that Chase Owens will be in Las Vegas for this year's Death Before Dishonor weekend.
I am really not sure why the article below says this will be the first time in 7 years for Chase Owens in a ROH ring, Chase Owens was at last year's Death Before Dishonor weekend TV tapings here in Las Vegas- I remember because he wrestled Kenny King and I got to meet him at Intermission.
Chase Owens Returns To Ring Of Honor For Death Before Dishonor
Ring of Honor issued the following press release announcing that Bullet Club member Chase Owens will be making his ROH return after seven years at the September 29th Las Vegas event entitled Death Before Dishonor. Details are below.
Bullet Club’s Chase Owens of New Japan Pro-Wrestling makes his first appearance in an ROH ring in the U.S. in more than seven years at the Death Before Dishonor international television taping in Las Vegas on Sept. 29.
Owens, an 11-year ring veteran despite being just 28, joined Bullet Club, the top faction in the sport, in 2015 and often teams up with fellow members Kenny Omega, Cody, The Young Bucks, Marty Scurll and Adam Page.
Before making his debut with NJPW in 2014, Owens had a successful run on the independent circuit, including winning the NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship three times from 2012-2014, holding the title for a combined 626 days.
Who will Owens face at the Death Before Dishonor TV taping? Join us in person in Las Vegas to find out!

As I predicted since Best in the World, RUSH was officially announced as the challenger for the ROH World Championship at Death Before Dishonor here in Las Vegas later this month. RUSH challenges the winner of this Saturday's ROH World Championship match at Global Wars Espectacular between current champion Matt Taven and Volador Jr.
RUSH has history in CMLL with both Taven and Volador Jr. so I am looking forward to this match either way. And with Taven's ROH contract reportedly expiring at the end of September, perhaps RUSH wins the ROH World Championship at Death Before Dishonor in Las Vegas?

I had a great time attending Death Before Dishonor last night- the 17th Death Before Dishononor, I have attended Death Before Dishonor now for the past 4 years. This was Show #50 for me in 2019.
Originally I was not planning on attending tonight's ROV TV tapings at Sam's Town because I have a ticket to see Social Distortion (my favorite band) and Flogging Molly in downtown Las Vegas tonight.
But the ROV TV Tapings starts at 6 and the Social D/Flogging Moilly show does not start until 7:30 (and I do not mind missing the two opening bands.)
My friend Ofi- I went with her and her boyfriend Willie Mack to see Rancid and Pennywise at Mandalay Bay on Thursday night- is going with me to see Social D/Flogging Molly tonight and she said she would text me when the second opening band is done and at that point I plan to leave Sam's Town and go to the venue in downtown Las Vegas which is about 30 minutes away.
So I should see the majority of tonight's ROH TV tapings.

Chris Bey has a great future but I think for ROH he has only wrestled last night on the TV tapings and also 1 preshow match for ROH, so I would not expect him to be in the next ROH set next year. Hopefully though Dragon Lee, Session Moth Martinez, and Joe Hendry will get ROH cards soon (I don't think any of them are signed yet though.)

I went to the ROH TV tapings at Sam's Town last night. My friend Alex who works for PWG told me he got us free tickets so I was thinking we would be sitting somewhere in the general admission bleachers but to my surprise we were instead sitting second row center.
I got to see most of the show, I did miss the final two matches (Flip Gordon vs Tracy Williams and Villain Enterprises vs Briscoes and Dragon Lee) because I had tickets to see Social Distortion and Flogging Molly downtown last night (I got there right as Flogging Molly was starting their first song.)
I have to say thanks to my friend Ofi (Wille Mack's girlfriend) last night. When I got to the concert I bought us 2 Budlights for $18 (beers are expensive at that venue) and I told the vendor to keep the change but she saw I accidentally gave them my $100 instead of my $20 so I was able to get $80 back in change. She is a great friend and I cannot say enough good things about her.
The TV tapings was Show #51 of 2019 for me. Show #52 for me will be FSW today at Sam's Town (leaving in a few hours) and my friend Alex also got us free tickets to today's show too.
