Yea Buster feels like something a real world promotion would do for merchandising and to target the kids. At least he didn't hatch from an egg.
Anyone else notice Loyalist's eyes glowing? A Guardian connection? Or maybe even Nightmare.

As the Crime Stoppers go, I feel like GODSEND using their own world and freedom's to get them to fight for him is a layered idea. If he just takes them, what motivation do they have, really? He shows up, gives them that thing to fight for and a reason to care about actually winning, and then lets them loose in his fed. I saw the idea that he's like "a kid playing with toys and suddenly super heroes show up", which is an absolute dead-on for what I see him as. He's a bored god, right? And when an immortal is bored enough, even the small things will probably bring them joy. As for the Crime Stoppers themselves, I see Cosmic Woman and Blue Dazzler sticking around after this year as wrestlers, and Skull might be a manager making his team. I'm really excited by them.

Maybe Skull doesn't want to return to his time so Godsend let's him stay and also brings the Killers Four to be his team. He might add one or two current wrestlers as well. To help train the Four and then dump them after.

Just read it all and very impressed. Interesting to see where it goes and if we see cards for the Untouchable etc next year. Only things I didn’t like. I’d of preferred the handbook cover or at least back cover to say sudden death somewhere (I’m only looking at the online version and may of missed it in my rush read earlier in). Love the character Skull but prefer a different name as we already had Blazing Skull and of course I’m sure the Killer Four will prob get cards and I’ll feel the same about the Hunter due to Bounty Hunter.
But I still love the set and it’s fab that Tom dreams up different card mechanics time and time again. My hat’s off to the guy. Absolute legend

Just a little question How do u handle Title losses concerning Sudden Death Points.Three points for a Title win.But how about a Title Change? Minus Points for the Wrestler losing the Belt?

I generally don't like to deduct points for a loss of any kind because it feels like double dipping... The only time I would consider it would be if I'm looking to penalize wrestlers for getting disqualified (did this during my canon fed's Milky Way Tag Team Challenge)... This can help to avoid early blowouts and keeps the race tight as the year progresses... Just my thoughts.

That's what I thought after reading the handbook 🙂 The Scores will not grow that big through 2135 with the minus points.

After my first read through the handbook I'm left let down by this edition. I expected a lot more for the end of this 9 part story line and it just left me flat. The Crime Stoppers do absolutely nothing for me, I feel like they could have been a December mini game pack and we wouldn't have missed a thing. Speaking of which Nightmare and Maramus get jobbed out in the least creative way possible. I do love the Endgame card and HelSin is cool (I agree too dark to really see the details) but more or less I'm kinda meh on this set. I usually follow the story pretty close but I've already reworked The Crime Stoppers in my head and I'm still not excited. Easily my least favorite since 2126. Looking forward to the reboot next year.

After playing my first few cards I feel like Sunman is everything Star Warrior could have and probably should have been. Tough as nails white meat babyface with some big time card stats. Can’t see this dude having any kids out of wedlock soon.
