I'm pretty sure Mike G. was still doing part of the art for that set. That explains a lot actually, LOL.

Yes, it comes in 2019 Quarter 3. If you're interested in color updated cards for INFINITY and INFINITY PLEX coming in Quarter 4 at the end of this year, it's not too late to get subscribed to COTG Promoter Prime reserving your copies. They're going to be awesome!

Unfortunately the flyers that came with the 3000 set (no handbook) do not credit the artists. I remember at one of the conventions Tom said he couldn't get Bendis to draw a good picture of a woman for Rhea, so he picked one of the pictures and told Brian to "draw eye lashes on it". So we can be pretty sure Brian drew Rhea.

I'm pretty sure all the 3000 art was Bendis. Rhea was actually a repurposed drawing of Cannibal.

I'm pretty sure all the 3000 art was Bendis. Rhea was actually a repurposed drawing of Cannibal. When I saw the artwork for Rhea, I thought she looked like Fury. I ran an angle where Fury got injured, so he brought in his "older sibling" to help him out. It was his big sister, Rhea! 911 was popular in ECW at the time, so I made her finisher a big chokeslam. Things got out of control when she chokeslammed Chaos and pinned him.

After I played the first Sudden Death, I started a second COTG fed. I had bought several sets ahead of where I was playing, so I did the AFW with Terminus as champion. I used guys no longer in the GWF, Classics characters, bootlegs, and others. I copied the Rhea and Fury sibling storyline as well. I have to look back as to how I introduced Rhea as Fury's sister. They had a short reign as AFW Tag Team champions. They lost the belts to the nGo characters of Biff Malibu and Baron Vas Deferens--the Ballbreakers. For those who had the nGo sets, you will recall that Baron's finisher was the TESTICULAR CLAW. He used that to beat Rhea but since it didn't make sense to use the TESTICULAR CLAW, he used the BREASTICULAR CLAW for the only time ever. Another Rhea story comes from 1996. Whenever Chad, Tim, and/or I would get together for Galaction, the Waterloo Hall of Fame, or some other event, we would often play a card that was not part of any of our feds' histories and was typically just for fun. In '96 when we Chad and I lived in Findlay, OH, Tim came out to go to Detroit with us for UFC 9. (Dan Severn fought Ken Shamrock in the famous main event that went 30 minutes and was largely stalling.) That weekend we played a card called the Big @$$ Findlay Bash. Rhea and Fury battled Crusher Chad and Tim "The Heel" Dalton, managed by Cory the Bruiser. (These were Chad and Tim's bootlegs of themselves from the Club Galactica days.) Rhea and Fury won by countout after choke slamming two of the guys through a table. As far as other Classics 3000 guys, I used Actagon's stats in my AFW for a while. I didn't do the team with Rune Larrs but I did team him with Turbo (a Steve Minskoff bootleg) as sort of a shooters-style team. They did well and were my last Tag Team champions in that fed. I also used the Sixth Law (Destructon 4200 and Beta Clarion) for a while in the same fed, as I was always a mark for Destructon 3000. They were two-time AFW Tag Team champs, beating The Eastern Dynasty (Ghengis Khan and Mitsuko) and later Incredible Badger and Iron Mane.

Speaking of classics 3000, is it available as a pdf set? I can’t seem to find it anywhere

Enjoying the crazy ideas promoters had. Reminds me of when everything was just a wild time.
