What's the simplest way to calculate Rahl Ratings if it's not in the LOW wiki?

Well if you accept the flawed system, either you can follow the rules which I know is in the COTG and might be on this one too or you can ask. I've done a lot of them but I don't always agree (for instance I don't think cage ratings should really affect a card unless you're specifically calculating for hardcore matches)
Any particular wrestlers you wish to know?

Thanks Troy,
I'm looking for Acid Jaz from Promoter Prime. I'm using it mainly because it's the only sysstem I've seen that tries to rank all the cards on an even playing field. Is there another way you'd recommend?

Modified slightly for the extra DQ finisher he comes across as an 18 (25) character.

Thank you so much, Troy. I think this would have taken me hours. The charts and guides all seem kind of intimidating. I'd love to see an easier way that's accurate enough to be used.

I've been thinking about trying to come up with one. The rules for cards have changed a lot even since he created it so a new system probably should be done. Something else for me to add to the list.
Oh and you're most welcome.

Oh and you're most welcome. I was actually toying with the idea of trying to come up with a better rating system as well. There's a lot that the Rahl Rating system does well with but there's a fair number of things that need to be improved. The easiest thing to pick apart is the cage rating being included in the factoring but I think things are not weighted well. I had started running a bunch of matches a while back to analyze how I thought things should be weighted. Then I sorta stopped...

Yeah it's going to be hard to figure but I think it's doable. I think one major thing is he underrates level 2 and level 3 offense and probably overweighs defense. (A lot of wrestlers get their good numbers from a solid defense) While a good defense really helps, offense is normally how you're going to win.

That makes a lot of sense. Guys with weak offense but strong defense are basically just set up to have longer matches, they don't win a high percentage of matches.

I wonder if it might be fun to do try and create a community ranking system? Something we all contribute to. I know I'm less experienced than many of you, but I've worked up a starting point. Feel free to suggest adjustments and we'll see what we come up with. I'm hoping for something simple that still gives an idea where these guys rank. Here's what I've got so far.
System
10 pts per finisher + 1pt per finish ratings pt. 2 pts per lvl 3 Offensive move. + 1 per add one -1 per pin rating pt (pin 5=-5) +1 per lvl 1 reversal, +2 per level 2 AG/PW= 1 pt per. -.5 for DQ options on offense -.5 per DQ pt. I chose .5 because it seems like most people roll twice for DQ 1 pt per “A” on charts (ex-and “A” on Ropes is one pt) +/- a subjective amount for move notes
Example
Harley Race-Color Starter Finishers 2 plus +2 finisher rating= 22 Level 3 moves=8 Pin 5= -5 DQ= -2.5 Charts= 2 "A"'s so 2 pts
Reversals= 6 pts AG/PW- +2 Move Notes= +3. I picked this number because the move has a 1/4 chance of happening and it leads to another fnisher with a +1 ratings, which would be 11. I decided to move it to 12 for easier math and divided by 4.
Total: 35
I'm hoping we can come up with a reliable system and have it stickied as the "official" filsinger cards ranking system.
