I do think animated would be the way to go. I just can't imagine a tv series though.

I could. Lots of story and characters to develop.

Oh the plots would be there....I just don't see an audience is all. We are a loyal bunch but we are pretty tiny.

There were lots of wrestling and fighting cartoons/anime that drew an audience and were uber popular. I think it would gain momentum by the mass wrestling fans alone. To me I would see it as cartoons of the 80's and use it to sell the game.

I could see the Rock. But I always saw Nexus being played by John Amos.

Animated would probably be the way to go, but I would also love to see a video game, something that crossed Wrestlefest and Fire pro (how awesome would that be!) but alas, I'd go old school with most of my picks.
Actagon - Proteus - Beast Rider - Kevin von Erich Renegade - Bam Bam Bigleow Commander Sam - Lou Thesz Lord Nexus - Rocky Johnson Pulsar - Brian Pillman Pit Viper - Ricky Steamboat Massif - Big John Studd Omega - Jay Strongbow Star Warrior - Owen Hart? A young Shawn Michaels? Wolf - Bruiser Brody
Brute - King Kong Bundy Massacre - Terry Funk Comrade Terror - Greg Valentine Executioner - Haku Exo King -Jerry Lawler Killer Queen - Jessie Ventura Death Knight - Krakan - Harley Race or Ivan Koloff Ghengis Khan - Ox Baker Mutant - Moondog Vanity - Rick Martell Thantos - Nick Bockwinkel
The only ones I'm unsure of would be the Greek Gods and Death Knight, as anyone could be under the mask.

Agreeing with those choices! Haku was a very interesting choice there! Adding: Pegasus - Lex Luger (Didn't Peg's first Special Edition card look like Lex?) Paragon - Rick Martel (I'm pretty sure it was the Bendis drawing looked just like Martel) Sin / Salvation - Adam Bomb Morpheus - Kevin Nash I'd go with these as well: Scion Nexus - The Rock Commander Sam - Sgt Slaughter Krakan - Ivan, definiteley Brute - Great Khali, mostly because of the hair, LOL! Halcon Oro - X-Pac (As I stated a long time ago, the drawing looks EXACTLY like X-Pac in a VERY cheap Batman suit) Tragedy - Fake Deisel (Kane) Renegade - Renegade (LOL!) Killer Queen - Goldust (A "Natural" for Dustin Rhodes! Get what I did there? Haha!) I'm sure I will think of more sometime... Todd C WTIC

Let’s say Tom sells the rights to a cotg movie and it is going to star the original 24 characters. Who do you cast? Has this ever been discussed? This is a topic that has been rattling around in my head for months for some reason. Just wondering what everyone’s ideas may be I seem to remember at one time that Tom had discussed the possibility of turning COTG into a movie, but I don't think anything ever came of it. I think that the discussion was what prompted him to do the COTG Live event.

That's about right...Tom's second book was pretty much all about that journey. I think the reality is that Hollywood just isn't that much into wrestling. If it were to be a thing, I think an animated series is about the only way to get all 24 wrestlers as anything more than a cameo.
