I wonder if Bateman in ROH will reunite with his Violence Unlimited tag team partner Brody King?
ROH Reportedly Signs Indie Wrestling Veteran
Ring of Honor has signed California-based indie wrestling veteran Tyler Bateman, according to the SoCalUncensored website.
Bateman has reportedly signed an exclusive deal with ROH and will begin working with the company under that contract in November some time. He actually made his ROH debut at the Las Vegas TV tapings last month.
The 37 year old from Oklahoma began wrestling in 2001 and has been a top talent for Championship Wrestling From Hollywood. He has worked for several indie promotions, including Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Bateman had tryouts with WWE and Impact Wrestling in 2018.

Bateman could join VE assuming any of them re-sign.
I watched some recent ROH interviews with Marty Scurll and it appears to me like he's totally checked out. Probably waiting to jump ship to AEW. Rumor is ROH plans to offer him a huge contract when his current one is up but I would be surprised if he takes it.
PCO and King are also close to the end of their deals and probably smell better exposure elsewhere.
So Bateman may not have a VE to join. Or at the very least he might take over what is left.

Bateman & Flip Gordon might make a good Villain Enterprises tag team if Scurll, King & PCO all leave.

Yeah, it will be interesting to see what happens with Villain Enterprises. If he has not done so already, I think PCO might resign. About 10 days ago I read an interview with PCO where he was talking about the plans for ROH in 2020 which he called "exciting." We will see what happens, but I got the impression from reading that interview transcript that PCO- who after that interview proceeded last weekend to win the #1 contender's tournament to get a ROH World Championship match at Final Battle- is seriously thinking about staying in ROH. I do not know the status of Brody King, but I absolutely wish him the best in whatever he decides to do and wherever he goes. Brody knows me by my name as he always says "Zeke" when we talk at ROH, PWG, etc. Brody and his wife actually sat next to me in March at an AWS show where I was running a merch table for Filsinger Games that night. Brody is an AWS alumni and he brought some fans to the table, unfortunately though it was in March and thus before his card got released in May. I can not say enough good things about Brody King. Flip Gordon is signed through 2020. I heard something from a wrestler (not Brody King) last month at BOLA that surprised me about Marty Scurll and ROH, but I am not going to say anything more about it here on the board. However, I do NOT claim to know Marty's plans for 2020 as in where he is going to be. It will be interesting to see what Bateman's role in ROH will be. But I can possibly see some incarnation of Villain Enterprises going forward in 2020.

SoCal guys are being snapped up left and right it seems. Between WWE, AEW, ROH, Impact, NWA & MLW, everyone's getting snapped up. Doesn't seem to matter where they're from. Hopefully we'll be adding him to the game soon!

As one of Grant’s CWFH cards. I know, I just mean officially. And I know Grant's are as close to official as possible without being official. Not trying to knock his cards. Just saying it would be cool to get him officially and in an ROH set.
