A good Impact last week and what I like is Kon being pushed, I've liked him going back to 2009 where he was teamed up with Phil Shatter & Mikael Judas as The III in NWA Charlotte...

Scott D'Amore's contract being terminated certainly raises a lot of questions, given they have only just rebranded. A lot of the roster seemed willing to go to war for D'Amore, so it will be interesting to see the impact (excuse the pun) of this move

I guess we'll see how the roster will react when new tapings take place and how the product will turn out, interesting news for sure...

Simon Gotch is in the Impact Zone! Having him go after Josh Alexander was a wise move. They should put on a hell of a match. Also in the Impact Zone last night was the CEO of Atomic Legacy Wrestling and some of his employees/friends. They played the part of security during the Kon/PCO brawl. I am not sure if just part of security or all of them. Who does Shelley mean by "THEM" and how will they decide things? I am guessing THEM is friends of his in the business as he spoke of. But will they pick the stipulation for Shelley's match with Moose? Will they be lumberjacks in a Lumberjack match? It is a curious thing.

It looks like tickets for No Surrender and Bayou Blast, both in New Orleans, and not selling well. I got an email that they are going for $25. Three emails actually. A shame. TNA not being there for awhile I thought they would do better.

TNA not being there for awhile I thought they would do better. I wonder if it could be the current New Orleans market? I was in New Orleans for the NWA’s Hard Times PPV weekend in 2022. In New Orleans the NWA ran a venue that I would guess is smaller than the venue TNA is running and they came nowhere close to selling out and then the attendance was even far worse the next night for the tapings. I know the NWA also had horrible attendance for the Crockett Cup I went to last year but perhaps New Orleans today is just not a good market as both the NWA and TNA (who just last month had a record gate here in Las Vegas) are struggling with ticket sales there.

Well, it is the NWA, which is pretty subpar itself! But New Orleans might not be a hot spot for wrestling as well?

I think the New Orleans market might be more the reason than Scott being fired. He just got fired and the tickets have been available for much longer. IDK maybe they have a good crowd set but are trying to get rid of those last few, so they have a sellout. No Surrender is a week away so we will see how the crowd is then. A smaller crowd that is hot is better than a slightly larger one that are quiet anyways.

Solid show this week. I just wonder who turns on Shelley at the PPV next week and tosses in the towel on him. I mean, that has to be the way they are going. Unless someone turns on Moose and gives the title back to Shelley but I do not see that happening.
