I'm a bit embarrassed to say that I haven't started my POW fed yet, as I am still at a loss of how to structure my fed (well that and I finished aCe 2122, started GWFZ and am almost done with GWF 2122).
I see most people are doing MMA and some wrestling, but I haven't run across many doing a combo of the 2 styles within one fed. If there are any out there doing the combo, how are you working it? A few MMA matches per card, special MMA cards periodically?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have a mix right now. It would be more 50-50, except to be honest I haven't printed off the wrestling cards yet so I've been doing slightly more MMA than wrestling. What I've been doing is running separate MMA cards of 5-6 matches; seperate wrestling cards of 5-6 matches; and have combination cards for PPVs, where the mma and wrestling titles are all generally on the line.

If I do one, I'll probably do a wrestling card mostly, with one or possibly two MMA style matches thrown in. Then once a month, do a card totally devoted to the MMA style. Sort of a way to make the MMA matches get the spotlight during the month.

I think it depends on how you want to play the fed. If you want to play it with more drama and storylines (which is made super easy to play off of given the intricate storyline base that Mark has started us off with), go with wrestling.
I cover my MMA fed as more of a sport, and storylines are only secondary. Seems to work out better for me to play MMA out that way.
Or, just read what Hyde is doing with his POW fed, and copy along. ;D

I kind of do Aquinas' approach. There are two wrestling shows per week of 6 matches, one MMA show per week of 4-5 matches, and PPVs every couple months with combos. Working okay for now. GET GOING ALREADY, TM!

I run a dramatic MMA fed. If you want wrestling...play GWF...if you want fighting...play P. O. W.

I run a dramatic MMA fed. If you want wrestling...play GWF...if you want fighting...play P. O. W. You do definitely run a dramatic MMA fed, I'll say that! You, Hyde, Chewey, KB -- plenty of you folks out there doing drama in MMA like it was wrestling. I just can't give up the wrestling aspect, try as I might. I had considered doing it all MMA, but then there's be all these cards I was responsible for that I'd never use. But then again, I have a unique perspective on the whole thing...

I'm finally getting around, as I type this, to printing off the POW new cards....will probably be doing a more 50-50 balance once I'm done.
Plus, tag-team will be returning.

I am interesting in doing a mix of the two, will try it a couple of cards and see how it goes. If it doesnt work I will most likely go full MMA
