Wow not only did we get Cade but two of the best Big Ten players last year including the National Player of the Year. Oh and we got Thor. This team will be most improved this coming season. I agree. Pretty wild draft. Will be a lot of fun going to some games this year. Back in the day the Palace and Pistons games were a regular night hang out thing. Fun to be competitive again.

Wow. Todays game made me feel like the Bad Boy Pistons were back. It just overshadowed Cunningham getting his first triple double. He is now the youngest in franchise history to do so. Hopefully one of many more to come. While another loss we have to be happy with how they played the Lakers and Warriors real close recently. A young team that will only get better as the season goes on and over next few years.

The Pistons are getting Bol Bol for basically a 2nd round pick. I would be more excited if he rebounded better as we need help on the boards. I guess it might be a matter of how he was used in Denver vs how the Pistons use him. Time will tell.

Well looks like the trade is off since Bol Bol failed his physical. I wonder, did the doctor administering the physical wave his finger "no-no" after Bol failed it?

Saw this on ESPN. Something to give a sliver of hope for the future.
Pistons rookie Cade Cunningham scored 34 points with eight rebounds, eight assists and four blocks against the Nuggets this week, becoming the first rookie to record that stat line since Michael Jordan in 1984-85, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. Cunningham, however, is two years younger than Jordan was when he put up those numbers. -- Collier

I have been wondering if Killian Hayes was a bust of a pick for us. His young age was only reason I had not called it. Yesterday showed what he is capable of. 26/7/8 along with 5 steals and 2 blocks and only 3 TOs is impressive. It seems like all the young pieces on the team are starting to blossom. Next season might still be rough but after that we should be contending in the East for several years.

I want the Pistons to focus on drafting Armando Bacot. He should be their first choice. He could be the next Dennis Rodman/Ben Wallace.

SC just showed how important rebounding can be as they doubled up UConn in rebounds. It is why I want the Pistons to draft a rebounding machine.
Of course, their HUGE advantage at the free throw line was major too. They took 26 free throws to only 4 for UConn.

Well Cunningham ended up 3rd in Rookie of the Year voting. A slow start due to injury and not having the best of teams around him hurt him. At least he was ahead of Jalen Green, the guy some were mocking as should be #1. With Cunningham on the team the Pistons have Happy Days ahead of them.

Well two of the guys I wanted the Pistons to go after due to their great rebounding have announced they are staying in college. Oh well. Still need to find help on the boards, someone who can play D as well.
