I guess the dice decided Rush & Turmoil and Stars & Stripes got to cocky and needed to teach them a lesson. Those darn dice.

1. INTERPLANETARY TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: Rush & Turmoil vs Hector The Holy Brown Bear & Thantos 2:
Hector gets on offence first and hits Turmoil with a Serial Stalker and then blasts him a top rope clothesline. When he climbs up to the top rope again Turmoil is able to recover, climbs up and superplexes Hector back into the ring.
Turmoil hits Hector with a piledriver on the ramp and follows it up with a leg drop off the apron and a Chaos In The Crowd finisher. He covers Hector but Hector kicks out. Turmoil tags in Rush
Rush hits Hector with a an Aethran Coup Cannon and two spike DDT’s. Hector manages to withstand it though and is able to get on offence. It’s short lived though as when he tries a top rope cross body block Rush is able to counter with a spinning heel kick. He covers Hector but again Hector is able to kick out.
Rush connects with a springboard decapitator and a piledriver before climbing to the top rope. Hector recovers, throws Rush back into the ring and tags in Thantos 2. Thantos hits Rush with a Mental Manslaughter, a top rope clothesline and finishes off with a Legend Lariat finisher. He covers Rush, who can’t kick out, and we have new champions.
WINNER AND NEW CHAMPIONS: HECTOR THE HOLY BROWN BEAR & THANTOS 2
2. TELEVISION TITLE MATCH: SHOOT VS PARALYZE
Paralyze comes out swinging with multiple level one and two moves. He then lands a Rylock Axe Handle and throws Shoot out of the ring. He hits him with a chair, avoids the DQ and throws Shoot back into the ring.
Paralyze whips Shoot into the turnbuckle, hits him with a clothesline and tries a bulldog lariat but Shoot is able to counter it. Shoot connects with a wrist exploder and throws Paralyze into the turnbuckle. However, when he charges at him Paralyze is able to counter with a knee to the head.
Paralyze connects with two Heart Transplant Finishers but amazingly Shoot kicks out both times. Paralyze follows up with a Rylock Axe Handle and goes for another cover. This time Shoot is down for the count.
WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION: PARALYZE
3. CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: TRISTAN VS MANTIS
Mantis gains the early advantage connecting with an ear clap and a running kick to the head. He whips Tristan into the turnbuckle but when he charges at him Tristan counters with a knee to the head. Tristan’s advantage is short lived though as Mantis is able to counter a kamikaze drop.
After the wrestlers go back and forth a few more times Tristan is able to gain the advantage and connects with a super handspring elbow, a Titan Huracanrana and two Titan Power Finishers. Mantis is able to kick out the first time but not the second.
WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION: TRISTAN
4. 20 MAN BATTLE ROYAL:
The participants are: Swarm, Executioner, Zygon,, Aethran Overmaster, Nosfera, Comrade Terror, Massacre, The Betrayer, Encubus, Patch, Coven Black, Exo-King, Actagon, Gryt, Endgame, Malkuth, Nitro, Killer Queen, U.S. Male and Vidtek. Here’s the order of elimination:

Actagon eliminated by Comrade Terror
WINNER: COMRADE TERROR
5. WOMEN’S TAG TEAM ELIMINATION MATCH: SHANN-RA, STRAFE, SULTANA & ROTUNDA VS MOTHER SUPERIOR, PHANTASY, DEADLIEST OF SPECIES & SHE DEVIL
a. Mother Superior causes Strafe to submit to a Superior Shapshooter (Superior’s team leads 4-3) b. Sultana pins Deadliest after a Pardon My Spear Finisher (Teams are tied 3-3) c. Sultana is disqualified after getting into a brawl outside the ring with Phantasy (Superior’s team leads 3-2) d. Mother Superior pins Rotunda after multiple Serpents Of Hydra Finishers (Superior’s team leads 3-1) e. She Devil is disqualified after getting into a brawl outside the ring with Shann-Ra (Superior’s team leads 2-1) f. Mother Superior pins Shann-Ra after a Serpents Of Hydra finisher (Superior’s team wins the match)
SURVIVORS: MOTHER SUPERIOR & PHANTASY
6. GALACTIC TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: RUSH & TURMOIL VS TRICKS & ORACLE
Turmoil starts off the match by hitting Tricks with a high kick to the teeth and some hardcore headbutts before connecting with a leg drop off the ring apron. He goes for the pin but Tricks kicks out. Turmoil connects with both a Total Turmoil and a Triple Suicide Finisher. He covers Tricks after each move but Tricks manages to kick out both times. A very frustrated Turmoil tags in Rush.
Rush climbs to the top rope and connects with a cross bodyblock. He covers Tricks and this time he can’t kick out. Oracle never even managed to tag into the match.
WINNERS AND STILL CHAMPIONS: RUSH & TURMOIL
7. INTERPLANETARY CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: SLY DRURY VS SHOOT
For the second straight month Sly Drury made short work of his opponent. He hit Shoot with a lower leg takedown, an Indian Death Lock, a Back Stabber and two Suplex DDT’s before covering him for the win.
WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION: SLY DRURY
8. MAIN EVENT FOR THE GALACTIC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: STAR WARRIOR VS HAVOC:
A bit disappointed this match didn’t last longer. The two wrestlers exchanged moves in the early going. Finally Star Warrior gained some momentum. He whips Havoc into the turnbuckle and charges into the corner with a running clothesline. Havoc moves out of the way, Warrior hits the buckle and Havoc covers him for the win.
WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION: HAVOC
A couple of quick thoughts from me about the event:
1. I was hoping for a longer title reign from Star Warrior but the dice had other plans. We’ll see how Havoc does as champion.
2. A REALLY rough night for Shoot. He lost the TV Title and then got absolutely crushed by Sly Drury in the IP Title match
3. A mixed night for Rush and Turmoil. They lost the IP Tag Team Title but responded with a very dominant performance in the Galactic Tag Title match. Perhaps they weren’t fully focused in their first match and were looking ahead to Tricks & Oracle.
4. I’m sure Mantis is wondering what he has to do to take the cruiserweight belt off Tristan. He failed for the second month in a row although he did have Tristan on the ropes a few times. He just wasn’t able to convert it into a pinning attempt.
5. The battle Royal was fun to do. I’ll probably do another one in a few months
Well, I hope you enjoyed Quest For Gold. Thanks again to everyone who has taken the time to check out my federation. I’ll start posting my March tournament results in the next few days. Until then: Have a good day everyone.

Hopefully Mantis can win the Cruiserweight tournament again and get one more shot at Tristan. Third times the charm as they say.

Hopefully Mantis can win the Cruiserweight tournament again and get one more shot at Tristan. Third times the charm as they say. That’s true. I’m starting to think that Mantis is focusing all of his attention on the Cruiserweight Title as he has yet to win a match in the Galactic Contender tournaments. Granted, I’ve only done three of them so far but he’s still off to a slow start there. With that being said let’s find out if he gets another shot at Tristan.

YEAR ONE-MARCH-CRUISERWEIGHT TOURNAMENT:
Hello again:
Hope everyone is doing well. Here we are for another month of tournament fun. We’ll start off with the cruiserweights and see who gets the next shot at Tristan. Wrestlers were ranked based on their combined win-loss record in the first 3 tournaments plus championship matches. Since Mantis has won the past 2 tournaments he technically has more total victories than Tristan which is why he’s ranked higher despite Tristan being the champion. The top five seeds all received a first round bye.
Let’s get down to action:
First Round: #6 Panther Warrior beat #11 Mutant #10 Nitro beat #7 Pulsar #9 Coven Black beat #8 Vanity
Quarterfinals: #10 Nitro beat #1 Mantis #2 Tristan beat #9 Coven Black #6 Panther Warrior beat #3 U.S. Male #4 The Betrayer beat #5 Ensor
Semifinals: #2 Tristan beat #10 Nitro #4 The Betrayer beat #6 Panther Warrior
Finals: #2 Tristan beat #4 The Betrayer
I think Tristan may have taken offense to my rankings method and used that as motivation to prove that he’s the top dog. Anyways, Tristan wins it and is free from defending his title this month. He’s also entitled to an automatic rematch when he does finally lose the title. I’ll probably still include him on the March Supercard in some capacity.
Let’s move on to the Women’s tournament.

YEAR ONE-MARCH-WOMEN’S TOURNAMENT:
Quarterfinals: #8 She Devil beat #1 Shann-Ra #7 Rotunda beat #2 Mother Superior #3 Phantasy beat #6 Deadliest Of Species #4 Sultana beat #5 Strafe
Semifinals: #3 Phantasy beat #8 She Devil #4 Sultana beat #7 Rotunda
Finals: #3 Phantasy beat #4 Sultana
Phantasy wins it and gets the next title shot against Shann-Ra. However, the champion has that automatic rematch clause that she earned by winning last month’s tournament so Phantasy has to prepare for the possibility of two matches at the Supercard.
I will work on getting the results for the Galactic Contenders and Tag Team tournaments posted in the next day or two when I have a bit more time. Until then I hope everyone has a good day.

YEAR ONE- MARCH- TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT:
Hello again:
Hope everyone is doing well. Let’s move on to the tag teams. Just a reminder that the current Galactic Tag Team Champions are Rush & Turmoil and the IP Tag Titles are currently held by Hector The Holy Brown Bear & Thantos 2. Let’s get down to action:
Qualifying Round: #33 Zygon & Thraxx beat #32 Vanity & Mutant
First Round: #33 Zygon & Thraxx beat #1 Rush & Turmoil by DQ #2 American Guy & U.S. Male beat #31 Exo-King & Killer Queen by countout #3 Hector The Holy Brown Bear & Thantos 2 beat #30 Ghenghis Khan & Invincible Krakan #29 Nitro & Tristan beat #4 Tricks & Oracle by DQ #5 Anivar & Tauran beat #28 Beast Rider & Renegade #27 Comrade Terror & Executioner beat #6 Aethran Overmaster & Paralyze #26 Thantos & Bishop Hell beat #7 Wolf & Vidtek #8 Brute & Massacre beat #25 Death Knight & Pit Viper #9 Havoc & Payback beat #24 Tanck & Scimitar #10 Endgame & Plethador beat #23 Swarm & Mantis #11 Lord Nexus & Pulsar beat #22 Ensor & Retribution #12 Star Warrior & Omega beat #21 Sly Drury & Paganax #20 Clinch & Shoot beat #13 Bloodline & Encubus by countout #19 Actagon & Proteus beat #14 Coven Black & Nosfera #15 Patch & Symbiosis beat #18 Commander Sam & Massif #17 Panther Warrior & Malkuth beat #16 The Betrayer & Gryt
Second Round: #2 American Guy & U.S. Male beat #33 Zygon & Thraxx #29 Nitro & Tristan beat #3 Hector The Holy Brown Bear & Thantos 2 #5 Anivar & Tauran beat #27 Comrade Terror & Executioner #8 Brute & Massacre beat #26 Thantos & Bishop Hell #20 Clinch & Shoot beat #9 Havoc & Payback by DQ #10 Endgame & Plethador beat #19 Actagon & Proteus #11 Lord Nexus & Pulsar beat #17 Panther Warrior & Malkuth #12 Star Warrior & Omega beat #15 Patch & Symbiosis
Quarterfinals: #2 American Guy & U.S. Male beat #29 Nitro & Tristan #20 Clinch & Shoot beat #5 Anivar & Tauran #8 Brute & Massacre beat #12 Star Warrior & Omega #10 Endgame & Plethador beat #11 Lord Nexus & Pulsar
Semifinals: #20 Clinch & Shoot beat #2 American Guy & U.S. Male by DQ #8 Brute & Massacre beat #10 Endgame & Plethador
Finals: #20 Clinch & Shoot beat #8 Brute & Massacre
Title Shots Earned: Galactic Tag Team: Clinch & Shoot Interplanetary Tag Team: Brute & Massacre
The Ultimate Fighters take it this month. I have to admit that I’m not too thrilled that 3 of their 5 victories came by DQ/Countout but that’s the way the dice rolled out.
The Curious Case Of Plethador: For some reason my dice seem to only like Plethador when he’s in tag team action. He’s been eliminated in the first round/qualifying round in every Galactic Contenders tournament so far including (Mild Spoiler Warning )this month’s. However, him and Endgame have been putting together a respectable showing in the tag team division reaching the quarterfinals twice and the semifinals this month. And he hasn’t been piggybacking on to Endgame’s excellent card as he’s picked up a few of the wins himself.
When I put the two of them together it was only because they were the last two left after I paired everyone else up. Who knows, maybe they’ll end up winning the Galactic Tag Team Title at some point.
I will try to post the results of the Galactic Contenders tournament in the next day or two. Have a good day.
