So far all my digital buys have been LOW, but I'm considering the GWF. Would I be better off buying an introductory pack, or one of the regular editions? Thanks kindly for any advice.

Yeah, depending if you want to go old school or more modern.
I expect in a couple years, Tom will be doing another starting set, as even 2125 is getting back there in time at this point.

If you’re buying online - I guess I’m not sure how it works - but I would buy the newest set (Origins 2138) and the sets needed to play it. 2138 is very much like a new launching point on its own.
Not sure we will ever see another starter package like 2125. Massive undertaking. It’s simply easier to buy the sets needed to play the current year.
Then I’d buy 2087. Then you’ve got your bases covered. You play 2087 to build your history up and enjoy all the experiences of playing with the classic characters that got us here, and when you feel like being current and in the now, play the current stuff.

One advantage of COTG is you get the full roster for that year so you can really start where you want.

Both 2087 and 2125 give you all the cards and materials (dice, charts, rules) you need to start your fed at that point of time. |

In the online store, there is a category for digital game editions, and another one for complete packages. The packages have selections for things such as the Invasion Introductory Pack and the Civil War Introductory Pack. Each selection has a price and an approximate number of character cards, but it doesn't tell you which wrestlers are in them, or what years are covered. |
