Saw it yesterday, enjoyed it. Few good kills, and some outright LOLs included also. 8/10 from me.

When I saw the preview a while back, I thought "sure took them awhile to get here". Now, when do we get the Arbor Day horror movie?

It's been awhile since I've seen it but didn't M. Night Shyamalan's "The Happening" already do the killer tree concept?

Joining Machete and Hobo with a Shotgun as movies that have been created from the fake trailers in Grindhouse between Planet Terror and Death Proof, Thaksgiving is a movie I definitely want to see at some point.
I did not go to a movie this weekend because I went to Los Angeles yesterday for AEW's Full Gear PPV and this upcoming weekend I am going to see Napoleon with my parents who will be making their annual trip to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving and their Anniversary, but I will check this out either in the theater or at least on streaming.

The closest we have come to walking and killing trees is Lord of the Rings lol.

The closest we have come to walking and killing trees is Lord of the Rings lol. You're right. Thanks for clarifying. As I mentioned I saw it a long time ago and the details were a bit foggy. With that being said since it was nature as a whole that was responsible for the chaos the trees were probably in on it as well. For angry trees causing problems there was also the Whomping Willow from the Harry Potter series although if memory serves me correctly it never killed anyone. A horror movie involving walking, killer trees would definitely be enjoyable. I'm also still waiting for someone to make The Invasion Of The Potato People movie that Peter Brady talked about once on The Brady Bunch.

I was thinking about going to see this movie today until I saw it was directed by Eli Roth. While I'm a horror movie buff I have difficulty sitting through torture scenes which Roth is notorious for; I nearly had to walk out of Hostel.
Reading through the violence section of the IMDB Parents Guide there appears to be several torture scenes in this film too so I think I'll give this one a pass.
