While Muhammad Ali would be an EPIC addition to the game, I have to admit to being just as interested in Abraham Lincoln! If I remember correctly, he was a wrestler earlier in his life, back in the days of the travelling carnival wrestling era. Given his size, I could see him making a go of it back in the 1800's. Plus you got to admit, the man who wrote the Gettysburg Address would cut some of the greatest promos ever! Four Score and seven years ago .... I just kicked your ass !!

Two words... Gordon Solie !
With Gordons ability to make any match feel like a big time match , the card would have a chart that would boost one of wrestlers before the match (ie lower pin rating for face/heel etc).Plus it be nice to honor Gordon too.

How about Insane Clown Posse? That would be seriously awesome. I'll pass word along and see what happens, but there is always a chance. I know these guys are HUGE pro wrestling fans AND how many tag teams can say they have wrestled as a team in all FOUR major wrestling promotions? Stieners are the only ones I can come up with, and that wasn't for long in TNA... [edit]Now CPB does have AWESOME bootlegs of them in NOTM1, incase you can't wait. He even used the original names for their finishers.[/edit]

ok... i got it!!! 2 people from outside the world of wrestling who would be perfect and fairly easy to get to agree to be in the set. I could see either in a manager role, or as commissioner, maybe as an interviewer or announcer.
I know it's been said before but not in this thread yet, Tom Filsinger
the other? I think Stan Lee would be huge as a commissioner or even as a manager.

J brings up an interesting choice. Stan Lee. Given his bravado, enthusiasm and sheer imagination, he would make one hell of a wrestling announcer!

Yeah, but we're talking real people and not characters in this thread, so RoboCop is not an option. Thank goodness!
I remember seeing that on pay-per-view, and feeling like an idiot for spending my money. Between that and The Gobblety Gooker doing the same, is it any surprise I willingly drank gallons of Paul Heyman's Kool-Aid (TM) and embraced ECW as I did in the mid 90's?

Natalie Merchant or Anne Ramsey? Either way, I'd welcome either of them to the set if they can get stats on the back and step into the ring! While there have been a lot of character portrayals by women in wrestling, I am still waiting for a college-alternative music listening art school girl to enter the ring. Keep in mind, I'm also kind of weird, so it might be just me wanting this...
