I guess I can understand that perhaps Tom's writing process is such that it would mess him up to fact check as he's going along, but doesn't someone check stuff out after?
It seems like this sort of stuff could be easily prevented, and, to be frank, makes the company look sorta silly... it's not something from 20 sets ago.. that's only 5 editions ago, and a major character at that.

A minor slip-up referring to someone as a "cousin" instead of a "sister" equates to making the company look silly? WOW. It's an incredibly minute mistake that has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on the game and its' storylines. Who cares.

Maybe she was a counsin who lived with Kill Prey and his family and was raised like a sister. There are some people who are in situations like that that would call a counsin brother or sister as it seems more fitting than cousin...
That's how I would explain it.

Heh, maybe Tom should start doing No-Prizes... that would be awesome!
@ Matt: it's not the plot point itself, but the principle of the thing... like reading a novel and coming across a typo or grammatical error, it can throw you right out of the story.

Yea, but I've found typos in Harry Potter, too and I'm sure dozens of pairs of eyes saw that before its' publication. It happens.

We're human, we make mistakes. On the other hand, it's kinda fun to catch them. it shouldn't be a big deal at all (except the Guardsman's bite to head of course)

It reminds me of an NPC I ran in a D&D campaign a few years ago. One of the players told me after months that his name changed every week. It always started with an A at least. ;D
I can understand how it happens when you like to write and create on the fly. It just happens sometimes.

Hey, I like that No-Prize idea!
It's a mistake, I apologize. We're going to have it changed in the handbook. Shann-Ra remains Kill Prey's younger sister and that's that.

That's cool, Tom. And the NoPrize reminds me why Marvel was so awesome back in the day.

Not that it's a huge deal either, but on page 58 of the 2124 handbook, Dark Carnival is referred to as "Dark Futures". Not sure if this was a name that Tom was kicking around before going with Dark Carnival, or if this is just a mistake.
