Personally I prefer RVD to Boris by a wide margin. I'm sure RVD is FAR more recognizable to possible new game fans than Boris, sorry but that's a fact.

Plus I think LOTF could also be a way to get new fans into LOW. Since those stars of Today/Tomorrow are popular with wrestling fans right now.

I just remember Boris' giant skull as a kid, wondering if that was the biggest skull I had ever seen on a guy before. He was great in the AWA, teaming with Alexis Smirnoff and I think he might have teamed with Soldat Ustinov also. He would obviously work great with Nikolai Volkoff, Breznikov, and the other foreign heels. I hope we don't have to wait a year to get Boris Yeah, that dude got a mellon so big that Barry Bonds is making fun of him. Seriously. It's gigantic. What size hat can fit his titanic dome? Can he even wear a hat? Question for those who might know - Did Boris Zhukov ever work for the NWA in the 80s? I remember seeing someone who looked like him with Nikita Koloff back in the day, but I cannot remember the names and am too lazy for Google. If anyone knows, shout out!

Boris was in the NWA as Pvt. Jim Nelson in the 80's but you maybe thinking of Krusher Kruschev aka Barry Darsow who worked with Ivan & Nikita in the mid-80's

For a while, he was in Mid-Atlantic... or maybe Georgia, as Private... oh, the name escapes me. But he was a soldier. Then he showed up in AWA as a Russian. Back then it was not a big deal, but I lived in an area that covered NWA and AWA tv, so I took notice. His skull was a dead give away.... That would be Pvt. Jim Nelson, he formed a tag team with Pvt. Don Kernodle in the National Wrestling Alliance... You missed this post. Dang...................too late.

I have always thought they (Boris Zuchov & Krusher Kruschev) were the same dude! Thanks J! (KB, thank you too!)

Zhukov was in the AWA around the same time Darsow became Kruschev. Zhukov is one of those signings that may not be the best, but is a solid one. Tom has plans to release another set next year (LOTF 3 will be first), and I'm sure Zhukov has a shot there along with William Muldoon and possibly Warren Bockwinkel. (Tom wants to contact Nick before he makes the decision but liked the idea a lot)

Here is hoping that Private Jim Nelson can make an appearance (ala Dewey Robertson) as a SE.
I'm pretty sure Nelson is good friends with Rick Harris (Black Bart), so that would potentially make another signing. Tom or Todd should follow up on it
