Show #8: Norfolk Scope, Norfolk, VA
"Age of the Fallen"
*As the fans are filing into the Norfolk Scope, Ricky Landell (who no-showed at the autograph signing earlier today) parks his car in the reserved lot. Landell, who appears to be sweating more profusely than the temperature would warrant, gets out of his car. He is immediately meet by Brad Armstrong, BSW's head trainer.
Brad: Where in the Hell have you been! Man, you no-showed on those kids today. We've been looking for you.
Ricky: Sorry...I...umm...not feeling very good.
Brad: You look like crap! What the hell is wrong with you?
Ricky: Well...lets just say that...umm...you really shouldn't be eating an egg salad sandwich from a vendor on the side of the interstate. And I think the mayo might have been bad too! I have got the worst walking 'poops' ever!
Brad: Uhhh, that is gross.
Ricky: Not as gross as my car!
Brad: You gonna be able to wrestle tonight? You and JD have a tag title shot.
Ricky: Yeah, about that...definitely gonna have to pass on that.
Brad: It is a tag title shot. Those don't come along every day.
Ricky: I would love to, but....oh GAWD! {Ricky makes a bee-line for the port-a-potty outside the building}
Brad: I'll tell Michael that you can't go tonight....OHH GAWD that stinks!
Back inside the arenaBout #1:
Chuck Taylor (w/ Coach Hero) vs. Trent Acid (w/ Sweeney)
- Taylor looked good from the start, as he quickly wore down the former tag champion. Taylor scored a near fall with hos Sole Food, but Acid escaped and powdered out to talk with Sweeney. Taylor was waiting on Acid's return and caught him with a double foot stomp to the back of the head. He used a cross-armed necksissors, but could only score a 2-count. Taylor was showing off some new offense this week, as Hero looks on very proudly from ringside. Taylor used a cross-armed iconoclasm to set up an inverted superplex. Taylor nailed Acid with a running big boot and then used his Awful Waffle to take the win at 16:57. Sweeney seems to be beside himself, as Taylor has grown by leaps and bounds since he added Hero as his coach.
Bout #2:
Brent Albright vs. Larry Sweeney
- Before Sweet -n- Sour could get out the ring, after helping Acid slide out, Brent Albright hit the ring. Sweeney began begging off, but the ref called for the bell and the match was underway. Brent began wearing down Sweeney with some quick shots and suplexes. Sweeney went to Brent's eyes, but that only slowed the former champion only for a second. As the match went on, Claudio Castagnoli came out and watched from the top of the ramp. Brent sees Claudio and acknowledges him by nailing Sweeney with an Exploder suplex. Brent won via submission when he locked Sweeney in his Crowbar at 7:19. Sweeney rolled out of the ring and went with Acid to the back. Claudio gave Brent a quick nod and then ducked back through the curtain, as the fans roared for Albright.
Bout #3:
Coach Hero vs. Kashmir
- Before the bout, Coach Hero started to rip into Kashmir about his lack of focus at the last show. The idea that you can half heartedly go into any match and expect to win in a recipe for disaster. Kashmir seemed even more disinterested in Hero's speech than he did in last week's bout. This week's match started with both men trading several arm bars and wrist-locks. Hero drove Kashmir to the floor following a move he calls the "Tracy Smothers" (rapid double palm strikes to the chest of an opponent in the corner). Kashmir slid back in, but was caught with a hard elbow drop and then a running kick. Kashmir was dazed when Hero nailed him with the Hero's Welcome, but Kashmir again rolled out of the ring. Trying to clear the cobwebs, Kashmir started walking up the ramp. As Kashmir's vision cleared, he paused for a minute and then walked out, allowing the ref to count him out at 10:40. Kashmir walked through the curtain, without even a look at to the ring, as Hero was furious with Kashmir's lack focus.

Bout #4: IHOP vs. Waffle House Challenge Match
The Age of the Fall vs. Drake Younger & Badstreet
- This rematch was requested by the AOTF before any of the IHOP or Waffle House benefit stipulations were added.
{See news item above.} Jimmy Jacobs, who still is having Tyler Black banned from competing in BSW, has sworn that he will unmask Badstreet tonight and show the world that it is in fact Tyler Black under the hood. Younger and Badstreet, who looked impressive in their win last show, race to the ring and start this battle. Younger and Badstreet use some quick, hard-hitting double team moves to drive the larger Lee to the mat. Drake was blindsided by a clothesline from Jacobs, but Badstreet runs a hard knee into the AOTF leader's kidney. Badstreet grabs Jacobs and nails him with a reverse swinging neckbreaker, that sends Jacobs to the floor. Lee staggers back up, when Drake nails him with a hard headbutt and then a vicious chop. Drake and Badstreet deliver a modified double-team Exploder suplex to Lee, that really hurts the big man. Badstreet catches Lee with a superkick, which sends him into the ropes, which he hooks his arms in. Drake uses this opportunity to nail a Drake's Landing on Jacobs, which allows Badstreet to use his side Russian Legsweep for the win at 15:57. The fans explode, as Drake and Badstreet win again over the AOTF. Lee is furious, but unable to escape the second and third rope prison he finds himself in. Jacobs is hurting on the canvass, when the ref is able to spring Lee loose. Brodie helps up his partner, who looks into the camera as he is being helped out and says: "This ends tonight....one way or the other!"
{During intermission, Michael Hayes was looking for Ricky Landell. He tracked him down to the parking lot, where Ricky had the trunk of his car open and 2 or 3 people were milling about.}Hayes: Ricky, what the Hell is going on man? You here to wrestle or play with the fans?
Landell: As I told Brad, I am in no shape to wrestle tonight. I had a bad egg salad sandwich from a vendor on the side of the interstate and it is not pretty.
Hayes: Spare me the details! But what are you doing out here.
Landell: Oh...ummm...nothing.
{Landell tries to close the trunk, but his bag is in the way.}Hayes: What's in the trunk? Is it drugs?
Landell: Oh GAWD NO! Just something that I know these fans here were looking for.
{Hayes leans in and sees bootleg DVDs.}Hayes: You're bootlegging our shows! What the Hell....
Landell: No way! I am bootlegging Disney's direct-to-DVD movies! I have all the big ones: Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True, Cinderella 3: A Twist In Time, Aladdin and the King of Thieves, The Little Mermaid II - Return to the Sea, and others. You know the kids just love these straight-to-DVD movies!
Hayes: Are you high?
Landell: No way man, never touch the stuff. But this is stuff is so awe....
Hayes: Okay, folks, get outta here. Ricky, you can consider yourself suspended until further notice. You used to have such great talent and I thought you could be world champion. What happened to you?
{Hayes walks away, as Landell drops his head in shame.}Back to the second half of the show! The first match of the second half was supposed to be JD Michaels & Ricky Landell vs. The Young Bucks (c) for the BSW Tag Team Titles, but since no alternate match was announced, the Young Bucks were introduced, as was JD Michaels. Michaels takes the house mic.JD: My tag team partner is an absolute >CENSORED< and I am so disgusted with him right now that I want to beat the ever-loving >CENSORED< out of him! Ricky Landell used to be a guy you could trust, but now he's a walking joke. I am NOT about to give up my tag team title shot that I earned. I have turned over a new leaf and I am going to show the world that JD Michaels may not be a champion, but JD Maverick truly is! And that gold rush starts tonight, but not with that tool Landell. No, I have a partner who has the same goals and ideas as me. My partner is the former BSW tag champion...KASHMIR! {The crowd is shocked!} And further more, this partnership is going to be the most lucrative deal ever, especially since our manager knows how to get exactly what she wants. I am proud to introduce the newest member of BSW and the only person who can get anything or anyone...my I present Tammy Sytch!
{Tammy and Kashmir walk out to the ring, as the crowd is stunned by this announcement.}
Tammy: Thank you JD. And it is a pleasure to do business with you. And as I know that you are a true superstar and a great tag team wrestler, I have no doubt that you two studs with take the gold away from these middle-school playground heroes! Gentlemen, get my gold!
Bout #5: BSW Tag Team Championship Match
JD Maverick & Kashmir (with Tammy Sytch) vs. The Young Bucks (c)
- As soon as the words came out of Tammy's mouth, Kashmir and Maverick nailed the Young Bucks with hard boots and clubbing forearm smashes. The Bucks were stunned by the attack, but quickly recovered as Matt and JD locked up in the ring. Solid action, as both men traded a series of back-and-forth armdrags. Matt went for a spear, but instead eat a knee and then a stinging right hand to the mouth. A superplex drove the champion down hard, but Maverick was unable to secure a cover. JD used a Northern Lights Suplex to hurt Matt more, before tagging in his new partner Kashmir. The former tag champion used a bulldog to drive Matt's face down into the canvass. A full-nelson slam lead to a Cradle Breaker, but Nick made the save. Nick, when he was trying to save Matt, caught Kashmir with a finger in the eye. This hurt the former champion and as he made the tag to JD, allowed Matt to tag in Nick. A rope flip armdrag caught JD by surprise and allowed him to score with a step-up enzuigiri, that took JD to the mat. Nick scored with a 450 Splash, but only got a 2-count. Matt was tagged and then nailed their More Bang for the Buck, but Kashmir broke up the finish. Nick missed a big haymaker, which Kashmir ducked into an STO. Matt hoped up and nailed Kashmir with a solid right, but Kashmir kneed him in the groin. Nick was dragged back to his feet and a Cradle Breaker later, Nick was on the Norfolk Scope floor holding his head. JD and Kashmir used the T-Gimmick on Matt, with Kashmir {who was NOT the legal man} scoring the pinfall at 18:19. Tammy grabs the belts and comes in to join her team. The fans are shocked but know that Maverick and Kashmir are a truly dangerous team. Tammy holds both belts, as she is beaming following her team's win.
Bout #6:
Claudio Castagnoli vs. Delirious
- Claudio was waiting in the ring, as Delirious sprinted down and slid right in. The match started with Delirious firing left and rights as fast as he could into the stomach of Claudio, shouting gibberish the entire time. The ref didn't know what to make of it, so he stood their stunned. Claudio caught Delirious in the mouth a huge European uppercut that drove him back. Delirious staggered back but charged forward into another European Uppercut. Delirious staggered back again, screamed some gibberish, and charged into a Roaring Swiss Uppercut that knocked Delirious back and through the ropes. About this time, Claudio notices that Brent Albright is at the curtain watching the bout. Delirious slides back in and attempts a drop toe-hold, but Claudio countered into a single leg crab. Claudio then transitioned to a surfboard type move, but could not get the submission. Claudio caught Delirious with a bicycle kick, which allowed him to use a Les Artess Driver (Karelin lift transitioned into a side piledriver), but could only score a 2-count. Claudio dragged Delirious up and pointed to Brent, as he nailed the Ricola Bomb at 9:44 for the win. Brent smirked and gave a nod, as he ducked back behind the curtain.
The Main EventBout #7: BSW Championship Match
Erick Stevens vs. Adam Pearce (c) (w/ Sweeney)
- This match was a war from the start, as each man spent the early portion of the bout blistering each other with solid chops, hard kicks, and vicious chops. Neither man came out on the better end of this near 3 minute blistering barrage, as both men slumped back into a corner to catch their breath, as the crowd roared with appreciation. Pearce scored first with a thumb to the eye followed by a shoulder tackle. He hoisted the big man up for a vertical suplex, that shook the ring. Stevens bounced back up and landed a fast forearm club followed by a headbutt. A huge tilt-a-whirl slam also shook the ring, as the fans watched intensely. Stevens nailed a single leg lift into a lariat, but Pearce powdered out before the Florida native could capitalize. Pearce gathered himself, as Sweeney jawed with the referee, effectively stopping the count on his man. Stevens came outside to get Pearce, but caught another thumb to the eye for his trouble. Stevens was then slammed hard with a big body slam on the floor of the Scope, all while Sweeney and the ref argued. Pearce rolled Stevens back in the ring and locked on the Iron Spike. Stevens. still smarting from the slam on the floor, fought hard to escape the spike. Stevens was able to return the thumb to the eye on Pearce and nailed him with a modified jawbreaker using his own head. Pearce, holding him mouth, eat a huge boot to the midsection and that allowed Stevens to hoist Pearce up into a fireman's carry. Stevens nailed Pearce with a fireman's carry cutter, but only scored a 2-count on the champ. Pearce battled back, but was caught with a side powerslam. Pearce again powdered out to the floor, but Stevens charged immediately and nailed a baseball slide. Stevens grabbed Pearce, but Sweeney tried to stop Stevens. Stevens pushed Sweeney away, but the Super Agent nailed him with a forearm smash. Stevens elbowed Sweeney in the mouth and then used a pump-handle powerbomb through the announce table to eliminate Sweeney from interfering any further tonight. This gave Pearce the chance to nail a short clothesline on Stevens and the smash his head into the ring post. Stevens, not bleeding, wouldn't stay down. Pearce slammed the big man down hard on the floor and the rolled him back in the ring. Stevens went for a lariat, but Pearce ducked it and caught him with a modified spinebuster slam. Pearce nailed his Jumping Piledriver, but instead of going for the cover dragged Stevens to his feet. Pearce used a Rack Bomb at 26:15 to score the pinfall and retain the championship. The fans stood and applauded both men for a great main event. Pearce helped Sweeney up and grabbed his belt from the ground, as they made their way out of the arena.
*As the fans were gathering up their stuff, Jimmy Jacobs and Badstreet battled out from the back and to the ring. They started fighting in the ring, other wrestlers started to pour out of the back. As the wrestlers were trying to back things up, Jacobs locked on The End Time and then snapped it into a modified DDT. Hayes, who is in the middle of this mess, grabs the house mic.
Hayes: Stop! Stop it! GAWD, what is wrong with you? Jacobs, if you want Badstreet and his mask so bad....you got 'em! Next week, you and Badstreet in a mask vs. Tyler Black's contract match!
*As the wrestlers were breaking apart Jacobs and Badstreet, Kashmir nailed Acid with a chair. The whole locker room was out at ringside battling one another in a truly uncontrollable brawl. Atlas security, who was flown in special, was force to physically remove wrestlers, so cooler heads could prevail.
