Thanks for the comments Crimson. The action has been fun in LU and I'm glad you like the role that Ultramantis Black is playing as an associate of The Boss, Sly Drury. Who knows what kind of trouble UMB will stir up as Bateman will unfortunately find out when he has to face Matanza. Poor Chavo Pequeno suffering the Lick of Death, though most would say it's not a bad thing to take that move from Catrina In all seriousness her card is great and I'm happy that I decided to go with the bootleg for Mil Muertes. Thanks @mhardcore for providing that. Coming up next is the first of two shows from Kings Road United, I hope that you enjoy the action.

7) Bruiser Brody defeated Nikolai Volkoff (Pinfall – Twisting Vertical Suplex)
8) LOW Junior Heavyweight title: Tiger Mask defeated “The Cleaner” Kenny Omega to win the title (Pinfall – Tiger Suplex)
Match Highlights: History was made before a frenzied crowd in Sapporo as Tiger Mask, fresh off his third Rey De Voladores victory in the IWA, captured his seventh LOW Junior Heavyweight title by beating new Bullet Club leader “The Cleaner” Kenny Omega. The victory by Tiger Mask tied him for the record with fellow KRU star Jushin “Thunder” Liger who has also held the championship seven times. Omega had been boasting about being the only Bullet Club member to hold a title and that was part of what pushed him into taking the leadership position away from AJ Styles during King of Trios weekend. This championship loss will no doubt not sit well with Omega who now must watch Styles challenge for the world title in Osaka. Omega got off to a strong start in the match and nearly put Tiger Mask away with the Broom Attack and the V-Trigger. He also avoided a suicide dive that caused the masked man to crash hard on the floor. Tiger Mask showed great resiliency, though, blistering Omega with various kicks and strikes before executing the Tiger Suplex for the pin. Liger and a host of others, including Rikidozan and Antonio Inoki, rushed the ring helping Tiger Mask celebrate his championship win. It had been nearly three years since he held the belt and now he will be heading on to Revere, MA (Card #1119) to challenge the “Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay for the IWA J-Crown title giving him the chance to become a dual title holder.
The ongoing KRU Real World Tag League tournament continued with B Block action. The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) of Bullet Club improved their record to 2-0 with a narrow win over Devastation Corporation (Max Smashmaster & Blaster McMassive) who are representing CHIKARA. The DC dominated most of the match until Nick saved Matt from being pinned after a Sit-Out Chokeslam setting up the Bucks hitting the Meltzer Driver on McMassive for the pin. KRU favorites Power Surge (William Forve & Paul Pope) were very impressive in their win over Ring of Honor representatives War Machine (Hanson & Raymond Rowe). Hanson survived Boarding from Pope before Forve hit the Home Run and scored the pin. A Block action featuring the free agent team of Nikolai Volkoff & Boris Zhukov vs. Giant Bernard & Dan Spivey and Giant Baba & The Destroyer vs. Jushin Liger & Wani will continue on the next card in Osaka.
The wildest match of the night was the semi-final bout between Bruiser Brody and Nikolai Volkoff. This was an absolute war with both men battling in and out of the ring. Volkoff hit the Backbreaker Drop early but Brody kicked out of the pin. Brody came back with the Jumping Knee Drop but somehow Volkoff kicked out as well. They narrowly avoided a double disqualification at one point and there was also a ref bump on a deathjump attempt by Volkoff. The battle nearly went to the time limit before Brody caught Volkoff with a Twisting Vertical Suplex for the pin…Rikidozan, Antonio Inoki & Jushin Liger won via disqualification over Bullet Club members “Hangman” Adam Page, Terex & Voodoo Kaos. The KRU trio were getting the better of the action when Kaos got his team disqualified when he speared Inoki head first into the ring post. Inoki gained some revenge post-match blasting Kaos with an Enzuigiri knocking him over the top rope.

I'm pleased that Power Surge wins their Tag League match over War Machine, so a 1-n-1 record so far is not that bad. I've got to say that draw between Matt Riddle and Mr.Fuji is a surprise, it'll be interesting if you plan to have a rematch in the future...

The first thing that ran through my mind when I saw that Omega dropped the Jr. title to Tiger Mask was: is Kenny now going to try and sabotage AJ Styles world title shot. Then I thought: will he have to? Should be interesting.

Thanks for the comments Crimson and Aceldamas. Power Surge looked really good in that win, hopefully they can build on that momentum in their remaining matches. Matt Riddle just can't win much for me. I was hoping by booking him against Mr. Fuji he might be able to pull off a win but Fuji kept rolling over his pin. It was a good match though. You make good points, Aceldamas, as who knows what Omega is thinking after that loss of the title and perhaps jealousy will cause him to involve himself in AJ Styles' world title match with Andre the Giant. I hope to have that show posted this weekend.

8) LOW World Heavyweight title: “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles defeated Andre the Giant (with Bobby Heenan) to win the title (Pinfall – Snake Eyes - Phenomenal Forearm)
Match Highlights: The referee dropped to the canvas – one…two…THREE!!!
Just like that history was made in phenomenal fashion at Castle Hall in Osaka as the “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles did the impossible of ending the undefeated streak of the “Eighth Wonder of the World” Andre the Giant and winning the LOW World Heavyweight title. Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, the manager of Andre, held his head in his hands at ringside in disbelief over the result that will no doubt shake LOW to its very core. Very few gave Styles a chance of winning the belt even though he was on a great hot streak going into the match. He won the ninth annual PWI Invitational Cup Tournament at WrestleCade 11 and then a wild turn of events found him on the winning team at King of Trios held by the IWA. That very same night Styles found himself dismissed from the leadership role in the Bullet Club faction as the result of a coup staged by “The Cleaner” Kenny Omega. It was a wakeup call to Styles who had to go it alone heading into his world title match with Andre and despite the best efforts of Omega and company he pulled off the greatest win in LOW history.
Omega, one night removed from losing his LOW Junior Heavyweight title to Tiger Mask, confronted Styles as he prepared to head to the ring. The two got into a brief fist fight before the Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) blindsided Styles and treated him to a Superkick Party. Styles was left in a heap in the aisle only moments before the world title match as Andre and Heenan stood watching from the ring. The Bucks and Omega then carried Styles to the ring and tossed him in right at the feet of Andre who proceeded to step on the challenger. Once the bell rang, Styles unloaded with some quick strikes but Andre took over delivering the big bodyslam three consecutive times. A turnbuckle squash followed forcing Styles to bail out of the ring. Andre followed him out but that was a mistake as Styles used his speed and stunned him with a running dropkick. Moments later, as Andre climbed back into the ring, Styles connected with the Phenomenal Forearm (a substitute for the Styles Clash) scoring a two count. A spiral tap from the top rope followed and this time it was Andre bailing out of the ring. Not long after that Styles was able to hit a second Phenomenal Forearm resulting in a three count that rocked the building. Styles had won the LOW World Heavyweight title and basked in the cheers of the capacity crowd.
Andre was extremely angry over the loss and charged at Styles but was hit in the head several times with the world title belt. He then rolled out of the ring and tore up the ringside area as Heenan and KRU officials attempted to get him under control. It was a wild scene and took quite some time before Andre headed back to the locker room scaring off many fans in the process. Styles remained in the ring clutching the title belt knowing full well how important this win was for him. His first title defense will be against Bobo Brazil at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY (Card #1116) so he will have very little time to rest. There were other notable matches taking place at Castle Hall on this night but all were overshadowed by the changing of the guard, a change that will no doubt be forever remembered in LOW.

Now that is a PHENOMENAL victory by AJ Styles over Andre the Giant, I've got to believe you were stunned rolling out that result. It seems Styles in your new year has just been the man and he has reached the ultimate goal, plus beating Andre in a one-on-one situation is the feather in the cap of all feathers. It's good to see Power Surge & Matt Riddle win that opening match, but its too bad Nikolai Volkoff & Boris Zhukov lost and losing by DQ just stings in such a big tournament...

I finished that card last night and was so amazed at the result that I figured I would get it posted as soon as possible. I was absolutely stunned when I got that result as I was certain that Andre the Giant was going to retain against AJ Styles there. It just goes to show you that the dice are king. I will give you a peek behind the curtain here. I figured that Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks would be involved somehow so I opted to have them do a pre-match attack rather than ruining the match with a late run-in. I wanted to do my best to get a clean finish although of course Bobby Heenan could have ruined that. Due to the pre-match attack I added +1 to Styles' pin putting him at a big disadvantage right from the start. But then the craziest thing happened when he hit the second Phenomenal Forearm (subbed for the Styles Clash due to the size of Andre). I rolled the dice and they came up snake eyes. Andre's pin was still low at a 2 so I opted for no Heenan interference roll and that really backfired as snake eyes ended it. Styles knocked out the giant and won the title. It was pretty amazing. Styles has been on an unbelievable roll and I hope he can have a good run with the belt but as Andre found out the dice are the rulers of all in this great game. Andre had come close to losing before, especially against Frank Gotch in my last game year, but I always knew in the back of my mind that a snake eyes could be waiting to bite him and fortunately for Styles he benefitted from it. I am not sure if I will have Andre go back after the title as now that it is off of him I kind of want to have him out of the title picture but you never know how he and Heenan will go from here.

My apologies for not commenting sooner, my friend... I've been unplugged for a bit - Just taking a small break... But, when I dropped into the site to make my picks for the next WWE PPV, you KNOW what caught my eye right away... Your new avatar! I literally cheered out loud (getting weird looks from my wife and daughter in the process)... This will easily go down as the most memorable moment in LOW history for me... Here's going that AJ has a long and healthy reign at the top...
Absolutely... PHENOMENAL!
