I do greatly enjoy the inclusion of the 80s Mania guys in LOW.
There's a certain whimsical element to the whole thing.

80's Mania always delivers on fun action and storytelling, that is one thing cruefan68 brings to the table and that is a great mix of different territory style to his Legends of Wrestling...

Dutch Savage lost a Coal Miner's Glove match?! Oh man! We've used the Coal Miner's Glove rules for a 'Head On A Pole' match and a 'Baby Oil On A Pole' match which (I hope) you'll read about soon!
Great 8MW action- makes me wanna buy up more of the cards as I only have the first set.
RAHHHH!

Hey cruefan68! 80's Mania was truly a lot of fun. Strutter keeps on Struttin and The Dude picks up the win. The saga of Honest Al was great. All things considered all is well in Al World. Tanya Roberts. Buzzsaw is one of my favorite characters - I like how you labeled him as the unhinged Buzzsaw. Sounds like a Monty Python knight - All hail "Buzzsaw The Unhinged". Tanya Roberts. Great stuff my friend!!

Thanks for the comments Pariah, Troy, AJ, Crimson, Joebreakdown and Bri. 8MW is a little different but that is why I enjoy including it as my version of Sports Entertainment mixed in with the territory pro wrestling style action. I only do a few 8MW cards per year but they are fun for sure. I highly recommend the other sets, Joe, they have some fun cards to use. Pariah: Glad you enjoyed the Honest Al stuff, the poor guy takes a beating but he came out fine in the end. Little Shop of Horrors are awesome and that was a great match with The Adventurers. I was also happy to see Cobalt & Skullgore continue their title reign. Who knows, maybe Keith Blood & Slashmaster will be next in line for a shot. Dark Invader has clearly earned his chance at the top belt now we will see if Jet Set Strutter can fend him off. Fast Times at Ridgemont High - awesome, hey bud let's party! Joebreakdown: Head on a Pole and Baby Oil on a Pole, holy crap that sounds hilarious. HBWA and FPW are continually amazing and fun! Bri: Tanya Roberts, nuff' said. You know Honest Al loves the ladies and they love him too I know Pariah noted this in another post but jeez I really am nearing 400 pages! I wonder how much higher the page count can go?

2) Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon defeated Larry “The Axe” Hennig & Yukon Eric (Mad Dog pinned Eric – Piledriver)
3) KRU Real World Tag League - A Block: Drew Gulak & Anthony Nese defeated Giant Bernard & “Dangerous” Dan Spivey (Nese pinned Bernard – Reverse Huracanrana)
4) “Russian Lion” George Hackenschmidt defeated Dick Hutton (Submission – Russian Bearhug)
5) Frank Gotch defeated “Mormon Giant” Don Leo Jonathan (Submission – Gotch Toehold)
6) KRU Real World Tag League - B Block: Antonio Inoki & Tiger Mask defeated Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons (Inoki over Bastien by submission – Octopus Hold)
7) Nick Bockwinkel (with Sir Oliver Humperdink) defeated “The Solid Man” William Muldoon (Submission – Boston Crab)
8) LOW World Heavyweight title: AJ Styles© defeated Antonino Rocca to retain the title (Pinfall – Styles Clash)
Match Highlights: Former LOW World Heavyweight champion Antonino Rocca made a serious bid to regain the title as he took on reigning and defending champion “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles before a capacity crowd in Des Moines. Rocca was on fire early catching Styles with a counter sunset flip and a barrage of flying dropkicks for near falls. He then hoisted Styles up into the Argentine Backbreaker but the champion managed to escape. Styles was busted open during the bout, courtesy of a battle on the outside, but he came back strong using the Calf Killer followed by the Styles Clash for a big near fall. Rocca would not go down easy and a second Argentine Backbreaker nearly finished off the champion. Styles had to dig down deep and hit a second Styles Clash to score the pin and retain the title. A successful version four defense of the championship concluded with Rocca and the bloody champion shaking hands to cheers from the crowd.
The semi-final match was a return match from the last GAW card with “The Solid Man” William Muldoon taking on Nick Bockwinkel. Manager Sir Oliver Humperdink once again made his presence known supplying a key distraction for Bockwinkel late in the match. After a failed attempt to win it with the Bockwinkel Sleeper, it was Humperdink who distracted the referee once again allowing Ray “The Crippler” Stevens to run down to ringside. Stevens, who earlier had a successful GAW debut beating Mike Graham in a highly competitive bout, slammed a chair across the back of Muldoon. That led to Bockwinkel using a Boston Crab on Muldoon to get the win over “The Solid Man” for the second consecutive time.
The win wasn’t enough, though, as the trio of Bockwinkel, Stevens and Humperdink put the boots to Muldoon afterward. The attack continued until a shocking save was made by none other than former LOW World Heavyweight champion Johnny Valentine. Muldoon recovered and joined Valentine in running off Bockwinkel, Stevens and Humperdink to big cheers from the crowd. Valentine, who was last seen being forced to leave LOW last year after a loss to Andre the Giant, grabbed the mic and said that he is “back in business” and has signed a contract with Golden Age Wrestling where he will once again prove that he is “the best”. It was later learned that Valentine and Muldoon have signed to face Bockwinkel and Stevens on the next GAW card in St. Paul, MN (Card #1143).
The KRU Real World Tag League tournament continued with feature matches in the A Block and the B Block. Antonio Inoki and LOW Junior Heavyweight Champion Tiger Mask took sole possession of first place in the B Block with a hard-fought win over popular GAW stars the “Flying Redheads”, Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons. A see-saw battle had a fantastic finish as Tiger Mask caught Bastien with a missile dropkick and made the tag. Inoki then quickly trapped Bastien in the Octopus Hold as Tiger nailed Lyons with a dropkick cutting off a save attempt. Bastien then conceded the match giving Inoki and Tiger Mask the big win. The crowd applauded the efforts of both teams afterward and all four men shook hands in a show of respect. The A Block bout featured a huge upset as Drew Gulak & Anthony Nese representing the Evolve promotion got the win over Giant Bernard & “Dangerous” Dan Spivey. Gulak and Nese were on the defensive for much of the match looking for a way to counter the size and strength of their opponents. Nese somehow survived the Power Bomb by Spivey and would go on to hit the 450 Splash on Bernard for a near fall. Bernard tried to overpower Nese from there but the “Premier Athlete” caught the big man by surprise with a reverse huracanrana to score the pin. Bernard and Spivey were livid over the loss as Gulak and Nese picked up their first win in the tournament…Real World Tag League action will resume on the upcoming three-show tour for Kings Road United in Honolulu, HI (Card #1132) and Tokyo, Japan (Card #1133 and 1134) with twelve tournament matches taking place over the three nights.

Definitely stoked that Styles is still the LOW World Heavyweight champion... I'm not sure who holds the current record for most successful defenses, but I'm pretty sure the record is 12... So, I'm going to hope the Phenomenal One can make it to Lucky 13...
Also great to see Gulak and Nese get their first win in the Real World Tag League... Though it's highly doubtful they'll be able to climb their way into the running for top honors in that bracket...
Bockwinkel and some House of Humpedink allies tried to teach the Solid Man a lesson, setting up an awesome tag team match involving former World Heavyweight champion, Johnny Valentine... Really looking forward to this one...
Another awesome show!

The Styles/Rocca title match looks like it delivered some solid action.
Cool to see Johnny Valentine return. He and Muldoon could make a formidable duo.
Golden Age Wrestling is always a quality show!
