TCW is solid action! Great booking and it looks like the dice have been friendly so far. Thanks for reading. I've been wanting to use the format of a weekend recap show and a bigger show later in the week for months now. The dice have been uncharacteristically friendly so far, although I wasn't expecting Konnan to beat Nigel in the Mexican Death Match.

Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 4: The Love Brothers vs. Ivan Koloff & Ray Stevens: Koloff and Stevens dominated the Love Brothers, mostly due to Koloff's strength advantage. Koloff got carried away and blasted Hartford with the Russian Chain, drawing the DQ.
Strangler Lewis vs. Mad Dog Vachon: Lewis took control early and never let up. He wore Vachon down with two Strangler's Headlocks and a bear hug and leg trip. Lewis clamped on the Strangler's Headlock for the win.
Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black vs. Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane: Black and Eaton started the match and fought back and forth. Black took Eaton down with the Turnbuckle Powerbomb and tagged in Jacobs. Jacobs and Eaton struggled for control until Eaton and Lane hit the double goozle. Lane threw Jacobs to the floor. Jacobs went for the railroad spike but Lane took it from him and drilled Jacobs with it. The referee saw it and disqualified Eaton and Lane.
After the match, Jim Cornette got on the mic and said the Midnight Express wasn't done with the Age of the Fall by a longshot.
Don Leo Jonathan vs. Bob Orton - DLJ must win to get a shot at Buddy Rogers: DLJ and Orton fought back and forth. The Mormon Giant frustrated The Big O with his superior strength and agility. DLJ spun Orton in the Giant Swing but Orton refused to give up. Jonathan hit the Mormon Swing but Orton got his foot on the ropes. DLJ hit the rolling back splash but Orton managed to get his shoulder up at the last minute. Frustrated, DLJ went to the top rope and Orton threw him to the mat and locked on the Stepover Toe Hold. DLJ made it to the ropes but Orton was ready. He hit the atomic knee drop for a near fall and followed it up with two piledrivers. Orton threw DLJ to the floor but DLJ landed on his feet and dragged Orton out with him, slamming him against the guard rail. DLJ threw Orton back into the ring and hit the Mormon Swing for the win.
John Pesek vs. Claudio Castagnoli: Castagnoli used his strength advantage to take control early on and nearly decapitated Pesek with a Springboad European Uppercut. Pesek bided his time and attacked Castagnoli's arm. Pesek locked on the double wristlock but Castagnoli made it to the ropes. Castagnoli went for a European Uppercut but Pesek blocked it and locked on the double wristlock a second time for the win.
After the match, Nigel McGuinness attacked Pesek from behind and locked him in the London Dungeon. Konnan hit the ring and the four men brawled until referees pulled them apart.
The Miracle Violence Connection vs. Rob Van Dam & Sabu - TCW Tag Team title match: Steve Williams started the match and immediately went to work on Sabu's neck. Williams hit the Oklahoma Stampede for a near fall and then dumped Sabu on his head with a backdrop driver. Sabu struggled to regain his footing, obviously favoring his neck. Williams tagged in Terry Gordy and Gordy hit a brutal powerbomb. Rob Van Dam made the save and gave Sabu time to recover. Sabu took Gordy down with a crossbody from the top. Gordy kicked out and Sabu made the hot tag. RVD went to the top and hit the five star frog splash. Williams tried to enter the ring but was cut off. The referee was about to count three when Williams dragged him out of the ring and gave him a brutal lariat. A second referee came out and disqualified Williams, awarding the match to Sabu and Rob Van Dam.
The two teams continued brawling around the ring area as the show went off the air.

Triple Crown Wrestling Saturday Morning Showdown - episode 5: The show opened with the announcement that Buddy Rogers will defend the TCW Heavyweight championship against Don Leo Jonathan in the main event of the next episode of Figure Four Friday. Angelo Mosca vs. The Belgian Brawler: The Brawler took the fight to Mosca at the opening bell and looked to be on his way to an upset. He hit Big Nasty with a Belgian Bodyslam for a near fall. Mosca battled back and went on a rampage, wearing the Brawler down with a sleeper and knocking him senseless with a heart punch. Mosca locked on the sleeper a second time for the win. Clips of the tag team title match from Figure Four Friday were shown, including Williams taking out the referee to save the belts. It was announced that Steve Williams will lock up with Rob Van Dam on Figure Four Friday. Bob Armstrong & Les Thatcher vs. The Bolsheviks: Thatcher started the match for his team and was at the mercey of the big Russians. Zhukov busted him open with his wild forearms but couldn't pin him. Thatcher made the hot tag to Bullet Bob. Bob took the fight to the Russians, scoring a near fall on Zhukov with a roll up, then locked on the Sleeper but Nicolai made the save. Zhukov recovered and threw Armstrong out to the floor. While Zhukov kept Thatcher and the referee busy, Nicolai gave Bob a backbreaker on the concrete. Armstrong couldn't beat the count and lost by count out. Clips were shown of John Pesek vs. Claudio Castagonli from last episode of Figure Four Friday. It was announced that this week, John Pesek would be teaming with Konnan against Claudio Castagnoli and Nigel McGuinness. Brent Albright vs. Al Snow: Albright and Snow battled back and forth. Snow took a beating but wouldn't stay down. Albright dropped Snow on his head with a half nelson suplex but couldn't follow up. Snow made a comeback but Albright quickly turned things around with a northern lights suplex out of nowhere. Albright locked on the Crowbar for the win. Clips were shown of the Age of the Fall vs. The Midnight Express from the past couple weeks. It was announced that Jimmy Jacobs would meet Bobby Eaton on Figure Four Friday. Strangler Lewis vs. Bryan Danielson: Danielson got the upper hand and the opening bell and soon hit a suicide dive. Lewis barely beat the count in. The two men wrestled back and forth. Lewis took control and began going after Danielson's neck relentlessly. Lewis applied the Strangler's Headlock four times but Danielson wouldn't submit. Lewis threw Danielson to the floor and Danielson made a comeback, slamming Lewis's head against the apron and throwing him back into the ring. Danielson hit a missile dropkick for a near fall. Lewis made a comeback but Danielson quickly regained momentum and hit a big diving headbutt for a near fall. Lewis was reeling and Danielson locked on the Cattle Mutilation. Lewis tried to get to the ropes but Danielson had him immobilized. Lewis tapped out and Danielson got a big win. The show went off the air with Lewis and Danielson shaking hands in the ring. next on Figure Four Friday: - London & Kendrick vs. The Masked Superstars

Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 5: London & Kendrick vs. The Masked Superstars: Kendrick and II started the match. Kendrick hit the tossing dropkcik for a near fall. II made a comeback and locked on the backbreaker. Kendrick escaped the hold but II hit a big headbutt and covered Kendrick but London made the save. Kendrick made the hot tag to London but II quickly turned things around and tagged in Superstar. Superstar took London apart with the Spinning Neckbreaker and the Cobra Hold. London made a comeback and hit the Assisted Shooting Star for a near fall. Kendrick hit two Sliced Bread #2s but Superstar kept kicking out. Superstar made a comeback and tagged in II. Superstar II locked the Backbreaker on Kendrick for the win.
Curt Hennig vs. Adrian Street: Hennig and Street fought back and forth. It looked as if Street had Hennig's number. Street scored near falls with the running splash, the daffodil, and the crucifix. Hennig made a comeback and hit the HennigPlex but Miss Linda broke up the pin. Hennig went to the top and hit a flying cross body block for the win.
Steve Williams vs. Rob Van Dam: Williams and Van Dam started fast and furious. After taking a beating, RVD surprised Williams with a small package for a near fall, then hit the Five Star Frog Splash for a near fall. RVD went to the top and hit a kick to the face on Williams. RVD hit a second Five Star Frog Splash for the win.
Konnan & John Pesek vs. Nigel McGuinness & Claudio Castagnoli: Konnan and Nigel started the match. Konnan was on fire and out-wrestled the Englishman, locking on the Tequila Sunrise. Castagnoli made the save and Nigel turned things around, locking on the London Dungeon. Konnan escaped and Nigel hit the Jawbreaker Lariat. Konnan kicked out and Nigel tagged in Claudio. Konnan made a comeback and made the hot tag to Pesek. Pesek tore into Claudio, wearing the Swede down with a double bar hammerlock and three double wrist locks. Pesek tagged Konnan back in and Konnan locked on the Tequila Sunrise for the win.
After the match, Nigel and Claudio attacked Pesek from behind and double teamed him. Instead of helping his partner, Konnan rolled out of the ring and left through the crowd. Nigel knocked Pesek out with the Jawbreaker Lariat and he and Castagnoli left the ring. Jimmy Jacobs vs. Bobby Eaton: Jacobs and Eaton fought back and forth for several minutes until Eaton surprised Jacobs with a small package out of nowhere for the three count. Eaton bolted through the crowd as Brodie Lee and Tyler Black came down the aisle to assist Jacobs. Buddy Rogers (with Bobby Heenan) vs. Don Leo Jonathan - TCW Heavyweight title match: DLJ attacked Rogers at the opening bell and threw him all over the ring. Rogers bided his time and hit a series of dropkicks for a near fall. Rogers locked on the Figure Four Grapevine but DLJ made it to the ropes. Jonathan made a comeback and hit the Mormon Swing but Bobby Heenan distracted the referee. DLJ wore Rogers down with a swinging full nelson and two more Mormon Swings. Rogers kept trying to mount a comeback but DLJ was too powerful. DLJ hit a rolling back splash and Rogers looked to be defeated. Bobby Heenan jumped up on the apron and DLJ grabbed him. Rogers tried a sneak attack and DLJ slammed his head into Heenan's and rolled him up...

Triple Crown Wrestling Saturday Morning Showdown - episode 6: One Man Gang vs. George South: South took the fight to the One Man Gang at the opening bell and looked to be on his way to a victory. South hit suplex on the Gang for a near fall. Gang rebounded, knocking south senseless with punches to the face. Gang went to the top but South rolled out of the way of the 747! South made the mistake of throwing the Gang out to the floor. The One Man Gang made a comeback and put South away with the 747. Clips were shown of the feud between the Age of the Fall and the Midnight Express so far. It was announced that Jimmy Jacobs and Brodie Lee would be taking on Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane this week on Figure Four Friday! The Hillbillies vs. Ivan Koloff and Ray Stevens: Stevens and Koloff isolated Hillbilly Jim and wore him down with quick tags. Koloff scored near falls with two falling face slams before tagging Stevens back in. Stevens hit the Bombs Away Knee Drop for the win. Strangler Lewis was interviewed by Bill Apter in the locker room. Lewis said that while Konnan will get what's coming to him for abandoning John Pesek, Lewis is setting his sights on Nigel McGuinness and Claudio Castagnoli for putting John out of action with a concussion. Lewis challenged McGuinness to face him at Figure Four Friday and said he'd have backup in case Castagnoli planned on interfering. Lewis motioned off camera and Bryan Danielson stood beside him. Danielson said he'd watch Lewis's back and wouldn't mind getting his hands on McGuinness again. Steve Corino vs. Angelo Mosca: Mosca battered Corino with his superior strength, throwing the king of Old School all over the ring. Mosca scored a near fall with the football tackle and locked on the sleeper but Corino made it to the ropes. Mosca whipped Corino into the buckles and ran right into a superkick. Corino hit the Old School Expulsion for a near fall. Corino got the cow bell he brought to the ring from ringside and smashed Mosca with it for the three count. It was announced that the two teams will collide again on Figure Four Friday in a Texas Death Match! Rikidozan vs. Bob Orton: Rikidozan attacked Orton at the bell and quickly scored a near fall with a scoop slam. Orton kicked out and Rikidozan hit a hiplock but Orton escaped. Rikidozan whipped Orton to the ropes and the Big O rolled him up in a small package for a near fall. Orton whipped Rikidozan to the ropes and Rikidozan speared him out of his boots. Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 6: Harley Race & Larry Hennig vs. The Love Brothers: The two teams battled back and forth, neither able to get the advantage. Hartford hit a piledriver on Larry Hennig for a near fall. Hennig made the hot tag to Race and Race hit a piledriver on Hartford for a near fall but Reginald made the save. Hartford regained control and hit a piledriver on Race for a near fall. Race recovered and Hartford tagged in Reginald. Race dropped Reginald with a neckbreaker but Hartford made the save. Race hit the Piledriver on Reginald for the win.
Jim Londos vs. Chuck Taylor: Londos went after Taylor like a buzz saw and locked on the grinding armbar. Taylor screamed like an infant but made it to the ropes. Londos locked on the Boston Crab but again Taylor made it to the ropes. Londos whipped Taylor across the ring but Taylor kicked Londos in the face and took control. Taylor hit Sole Food for a near fall to gasps from the crowd. Taylor scored near falls with two Enzuigiris. It looked as if Taylor was on his way to a shocking upset. Taylor went to the top for a crossbody but Londos rolled through it and got a near fall. Londos grabbed Taylor's legs and rolled him over for another Boston Crab. Taylor couldn't escape and tapped out.
Brent Albright vs. Adrian Street: Albright tore into Street at the opening bell, taking him down and locking on the Crowbar. Street made it to the ropes but Albright was relentless and hit the Northern Lights Suplex for a near fall. Albright hit a big Exploder Suplex but Street barely got his foot on the ropes. Street made a comeback and hit two running splashes for near falls. Street locked on the London Bridge Leglock but Albright made it to the ropes. Street dragged Albright back to the center of the ring and locked on the London Bridge a second time. Albright got to the ropes. While the referee was trying to get Street to release the hold, Miss Linda slammed Albright in the head with a steel chair. Street dragged the groggy Albright to the center of the ring and got the win with the Daffodil.
Don Leo Jonathan was interviewed in the back by Bill Apter. DLJ said he'd make the fans proud as their champion. Bobby Heenan interrupted the interview and made a challenge on the behalf of the former champion, Buddy Rogers. As DLJ & Heenan jawed back and forth, Rogers attacked DLJ from behind, slamming him in the knee with a steel chair. Rogers and Heenan walked away laughing as DLJ struggled to his feet, favoring his knee.
Curt Hennig vs. Al Snow: Hennig dominated Snow, winning with The Axe. The announcers noted that with Hennig's Perfect 5-0 record, he must be at the top of the list of potential challengers for the Triple Crown Wrestling Heavyweight Championship.
Jimmy Jacobs & Brodie Lee (with Tyler Black) vs. Stan Lane & Bobby Eaton (with Jim Cornette): Lane and Jacobs started the match. Lane wore Jacobs down and he and Eaton hit a flapjack, stunning Jacobs. Eaton and Jacobs battled back and forth until Jacobs hit a springboard dropkick and covered Eaton for a two count. Jacobs tagged in Brodie Lee and Lee nearly took Eaton's head off with a series of four Big Boots. Brodie Lee hit the running power bomb but Stan Lane made the save. Lee tagged in Jacobs and hit the Big Boot on Stan Lane, taking him out of commission. Jacobs locked The End Time on Eaton and Eaton tapped. After the match, Jacobs refused to release the hold and Lee and Black kept Cornette and Lane from interfering. It looked as if permanent damage might be done until Dennis Condrey, sporting an eyepatch, come from the crowd and hit the ring with a chair. Condrey busted open Jacobs with the chair. The six men (and Jim Cornette) battled until security mobbed the ring.
Strangler Lewis (with Bryan Danielson) vs. Nigel McGuinness (with Claudio Castagnoli): Lewis went after McGuinness's neck like a shark and quickly locked on the Strangler's Headlock. Castagnoli climbed up on the apron but Danielson dragged him back down to the floor before he could do any damage. As Danielson & Castagnoli grappled on the outside, Lewis locked the Strangler's Headlock on a second time and McGuinness tapped out. The four men continued brawling after the match until referees pulled them apart.
The Miracle Violence Connection vs. Sabu & Rob Van Dam - TCW Tag Team Titles - Texas Death Rules: Rob Van Dam and Steve Williams started the match. RVD and Sabu kept Williams in their half of the ring and wore him down with quick tags. RVD hit the rolling thunder and the Five Star Frog Splash for near falls and taged in Sabu. Sabu worked on Doc's neck with two Camel Clutches but Doc wouldn't tap. Sabu took advantage of the Texas Death rules and hit three brutal Arabian Facebusters, rending Williams a bloody mess. Sabu locked on the Camel Clutch but Gordy barely made the save. Sabu threw Williams out to the floor and Williams mounted a comeback, slamming Sabu face first into the ring post. Williams threw Sabu back into the ring and hit an Oklahoma Stampede for a near fall. Williams tagged in Gordy and Gordy went on the rampage, nailing Sabu with a running lariat and a powerbomb. Sabu kicked out but Gordy hit the Oriental Spike. Sabu made it to the ropes with the help of RVD. Gordy knocked Van Dam off the apron and hit a big piledriver. RVD dragged the referee out of the ring, breaking the count. Sabu made a comeback and made the hot tag to RVD. RVD rolled Gordy up with a body scissors cradle for a near fall. Gordy kicked out but RVD went to the top and hit the Five Star Frog Splash...

Triple Crown Wrestling Saturday Morning Showdown - episode 7: The show opened with clips of Sabu & Rob Van Dam capturing the TCW Tag Team titles from the Miracle Violence Connection. It was announced that Steve Williams is taking time off and the Masked Superstars have been named as the #1 contenders for the TCW Tag Team titles. Terry Gordy vs. Larry Sharpe: The newly-solo Terry Gordy mauled Sharpe, bouncing him off the canvas with the Bamm Bamm Slam and nailing the Oriental Spike for the win. A video package detailing the rivalry between the Midnight Express and the Age of the Fall aired. It was announced that Bobby Eaton and Brodie Lee would be locking up on Figure Four Friday. Adrian Street vs. Al Snow: Street took conrol at the opening bell. Street scored a near fall with the knee lift and locked on the Daffodil but Snow escaped. Snow fought back and smashed Street with Head twice. Snow hit the seated spinebuster but Street kicked out. Snow smashed him with head twice more but Street kicked out. Snow hit a Huracanrana but Miss Linda distracted the referee. Street made a comeback and locked on the cobra clutch but Snow made it ot the ropes. Street hit the crucifix out of nowhere for the win. Clips were shown of the end of Strangler Lewis-Nigel McGuinness. It was announced that this week on Figure Four Friday, Strangler Lewis & Bryan Danielson would team against Nigel McGuinness & Claudio Castagnoli. Brian Kendrick & Paul London vs. The Bolsheviks: London and Kendrick isolated Zhukov and wore him down. London and Kendrick hit the tossing dropkick for a near fall. London scored a second near fall with the dropsault and tagged Kendrick back in. Kendrick hit the Sliced Bread #2 for the win. Clips were shown of DLJ capturing the TCW Heavyweight title and Buddy Rogers sneak attacking him on the last episode of Figure Four Friday. This week, The Mormon Giant and the Nature Boy will go head to head for the Triple Crown Wrestling Heavyweight Championship. Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 7: Bob Armstrong & Les Thatcher vs. Ivan Koloff & Ray Stevens: Armstrong and Thatcher isolated Stevens and wore him down in their corner. Thatcher scored near falls with the flying head scissors, a crossbody block, a series of dropkicks, and a high sunset flip, wearing down the Crippler. Thatcher tagged in Armstrong and Armstrong knocked Stevens senseless with a knee lift and covered him. Ivan Koloff grabbed the Russian Chain from ringside and blasted Armstrong with it, breaking the count. The referee saw what happened and awarded the match to Armstrong and Thatcher by DQ.
Steve Corino vs. Mad Dog Vachon: Corino took control early and smashed Vachon with the cowbell he brought to ringside, bloodying him. Corino couldn't follow it up and Vachon took control after reversing a Northern Lights suplex. Vachon hit two big piledrivers but Corino wouldn't stay down. Corino recovered and hit a Superkick out of nowhere for a near fall. Corino hit the Old School Expulsion for the win.
Sabu vs. Masked Superstar II: Superstar II and Sabu battled back and forth, strength vs. speed. II scored a near fall with a double arm suplex but couldn't keep the momentum going. Sabu made a comeback and locked on the camel clutch for a near fall. Sabu hit a hurricanrana but II was able to kick out. Finally, Sabu hit the Triple Jump Moonsault for the win.
Bobby Eaton (with Jim Cornette) vs. Brodie Lee (with Jimmy Jacobs): Eaton pitted his agility against Lee's strength and controlled most of the match. Eaton scored a near fall with the crossbody block from the top and followed it up with an Alabama Jam but Lee kicked out. Eaton hit two more Alabama Jams but Lee kept kicking out. Lee took control and nearly took Eaton's head off with two Big Boots. Lee powerbombed Eaton and hit a third Big Boot for the win.
After the match, Jimmy Jacobs went after Jim Cornette, bringing Dennis Condrey and Stan Lane out of the locker room with Tyler Black not far behind. Cornette escaped and the six wrestlers brawled until security pulled them apart.
Strangler Lewis & Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinness & Claudio Castagnoli: Danielson & McGuinness started the match. McGuinness wore Danielson down, scoring near falls with two corner to corner forearm strikes and blasted Danielson with the Jawbreaker Lariat. Danielson kicked out and Nigel tagged in Claudio. Claudio threw Danielson to the floor and Danielson went on the offensive, smashing Claudio into the guardrail and rolling him back into the ring. Danielson mounted Claudio and hit his with a series of brutal MMA strikes, busting him open. Danielson tagged in Lewis and Lewis clamped on the Strangler's Headlock twice. Lewis locked on the double wristlock but Nigel made the save. Lewis hit the Bear Hug and leg trip for another near fall. Lewis dragged Claudio to the center of the ring and locked on the Strangler's Headlock for the win.
After the match, the four men were brawling when Jim Londos entered the ring with a steel chair. He blasted Lewis with it, allowing Nigel to knock Lewis out with a Jawbreaker Lariat. Londos locked the boston crab on the unconscious Lewis while Claudio and Nigel double teamed Danielson. Security mobbed the ring but the damage had already been done. Londos got on the mic and told the crowd that The European Empire would soon be taking over Triple Crown Wrestling.
Don Leo Jonathan vs. Buddy Rogers - TCW Heavyweight title match: DLJ manhandled Rogers for the first half of the match and scored near falls with the Mormon Swing and the Atomic Drop but couldn't keep the Nature Boy down. Rogers made a comeback and knocked DLJ to the mat with a series of dropkicks. Rogers locked on the Figure Four Grapevine and DLJ had no choice but to submit. Rogers has regained the Triple Crown Wrestling Heavyweight title!
