A wild build with the Cloaked Mysteryman vanishing with the talent and I loved the brutal attack by Executioner on Comrade Terror during their tag match and the end of the event reveals Darkos and the Age of the Masked Assassin's, Awesome Work!

Galaxy Clash IV was a fun show. Young Junious falls short against Mesmer. I always saw the Master of the Occult as a top tier dark horse. Blackout was one of the most lethal finishers of that era. Star Warrior and Black Market pull off clutch victories. A tough night for Vanity, who takes a beating. Greek Gods vs Norse Gods Things broke down quickly between and the referee called for the bell declaring a no contest. The four men continued to brawl until a beam of light froze them in place. A man wearing long robes appeared in the center of the ring, placed a hand on each man, and then vanished along with Proteus, Actagon, Lightning, and Man Mountain. "Beam me up, Solaris!" ;D Thantos vs Spike Spike was on top until Thantos rolled from the ring to break his momentum. Spike went high risk and paid as he met a chair head on. The referee missed the attack and Thantos tossed Spike back into the ring. The Gamemaster got vicious as choked Spike on the ropes until a four count. Thantos released Spike and the Aethran gasped for air. Thantos locked in the MASTERLOCK, but before Spike could submit, a masked man came off the top rope with a head butt to Thantos knocking him cold. Before Spike could capitalize, he was attacked as well as Pit Viper, Executioner, and Splatter hit the ring. Brute and Massacre tried to make the save and were beat down by the four men as well. The cloaked man stepped into the ring and stood amid the carnage. ?, "My name is Darkos. Welcome to the Age of the Assassins!" The PPV comes to a close as the image of the Masked Assassins fades to black. Major happenings here as the Masked Assassins and Darkos explode onto the scene. Was making mega star level enemies in their debut as a unit an intelligent strategy? It will be interesting to see where the GWF: Time Warp creative team takes this!

This is a tragic loss for the GWF and Benjamin will be remembered as a top tier competitor.Warp Drive #5The show opens with a fight between Wolf and Thantos. Thantos is busted open, but manages to drop Wolf with a low blow. Thantos, "I'm sick of you! You want another shot you got it. Beat me tonight and you get your title shot. Lose and you are mine for the remainder of the year. That means no title shots and you do as I tell you or you leave the GWF."Wolf growls from his knees, "Your on!"Thantos grins and delivers a boot to Wolf's skull before leaving him behind.
Commander Sam is in the ring.
Sam, "I'm officially retiring from in ring action. I have nothing to prove and allowed myself to be provoked into a situation I should have avoided. Benjamin Shroud was a phenomenal athlete and competitor. A little misguided, but strong in his convictions. He will be missed despite our differences. I will be resuming command of the Champions, once again the FDF, as Omega retires to the back to manage the GWF business."With that he exits the ring without another word.
Pulsar vs Pit viper Pit Viper gave it his all in an attempt to put Pulsar away with several Cobra Nerve Stoppers, the Assassin Drop, and the VENOM BLAST. Viper was unable knock the fight out of his former friend, and Pulsar came back with back to back WHIRLWINDS to put Pit Viper down. The Assassins hit the ring, but Pulsar escapes without injury.
Black Market vs The Headsmen Both teams went back and forth before The Headsmen started to pull ahead. Executioner set Darsincor up and Death Knight knocked him down with the COSMIC LANCE. Sorm jumps in and blindsides Death Knight allowing Darsincor to hit the BLACK MARKET CRASH. As the referee is escorting Palecai out of the ring, Executioner drops Darsincor with the HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE, and put Death Knight on top for the three count. Krakan is backstage with Bounty Hunter in deep concentration. As the camera comes into focus, Bounty Hunter puts a bullet in it cutting the feed.
Comrade Terror vs Bounty Hunter Reynard B. Guile came out with Bounty Hunter for the match. Hunter dominated early, but Terror made a comeback and hit the ATOMIC WARHEAD. Guile jumped up on the apron and got Terror's attention, who knocked him to the arena floor, and caught the rising Bounty Hunter with a second ATOMIC WARHEAD to score the pin fall. Guile recovered and distracted Comrade Terror, giving Bounty Hunter the chance to hit AMBUSH. Hunter grabs a chair from ringside and propped it and Terror in the corner. Bounty Hunter delivered another AMBUSH before leaving the ring.
Comrade Terror injured 3 cards. Splatter vs KrakanSplatter rushed in with a shoulder tackle, but was dropped with a knife-edge. Krakan picked Splatter up for two backward leg-sweeps before delivering the FALLING FACE SLAM. Krakan scored a dominate victory over his former bodyguard. Krakan was reaching for something in his tights when The Assassins rushed the ring for the save. Krakan retreated from the ring without a fight.Wolf vs ThantosThe two men went back and forth before Thantos went down and rolled from the ring. Wolf came off the turnbuckle and ate a chair. Thantos tosses wolf back into the ring and chokes him on the ropes. The referee reached four before Thantos released Wolf. The Ani-Man rolled from the ring and Thantos tried to grab him, only to get sucker punched. Wolf rolls back into the ring and applies the SAVAGE FACE CLAW. Thantos refused to give up and Wolf raked him across his face with his claws. Wolf goes for the pin, but Thantos kicks out. Thantos makes his way back to his feet and puts Wolf down for the MASTERLOCK. Wolf reaches for the ropes as he fights the pain. Thantos keeps the move locked in and Wolf begins to fade. Thantos releases the hold long enough to drag Wolf to the center and puts the MASTERLOCK back on. Wolf refuses to give up, but lays on his back long enough for the referee to count the three giving Thantos the victory. Thantos is standing over Wolf gloating when Darkos steps out on stage and orders The Assassins to attack. The four men come out of the ring in a blur and surround the ring. Thantos turns in circles looking for a way out. As the four men enter the ring, Thantos shoves the woozy Wolf into a COSMIC LANCE by Death Knight and escapes from the ring. Thantos grabs the Galaxian title and retreats into the crowd. Executioner and Death Knight give chase. Pit Viper hits Wolf with the VENOM BLAST before holding him up for Splatter to level him with Arsenal. The two Assassins rejoin Darkos as Wolf lay bleeding in the center of the ring.
Wolf injured 3 cards.

Years ago, I first learned about the death of Bruiser Brody while at a newsstand, shopping for the latest Apter mag and then glimpsing a cover of The Wrestler. The announced passing of Benjamin Shroud gave me the same instant shock value. The big man from Brooklyn had a hell of a run in GWF: Time Warp. Thanks for booking some great memories Dharneth. RIP
