What better time to start posting my GWF & GWFZ 2120 feds than on the heels of the 25th anniversary of TITANMANIA! Getting straight to the action, here's the lineup for the event set to take place soon.
TITANMANIA 25
Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars
04/23/2120
GWF CHAMPIONSHIP
(C) ENCUBUS vs. BLOODLINE
(Ever since attacking his own father at the start of the year, Encubus has been a man on fire. He defeated Endgame, who held the title for 11 months, at the RIGEL RUMBLE just 2 months ago. This makes his first PPV appearance as the GWF Champion and he faces his most bitter rival, Bloodline. These men are no strangers and the entire universe knows that whenever these two step into a ring against each other, anything can and usually does happen.)
6 MAN TAG TEAM
FDF: ENDGAME, TAURAN, & SWITCHBLADE
vs.
CENTRAL COMMAND: EPOCH, SLY DRURY, & NOSFERA
(In what promises to be a wild match, members of these two rival teams face off in tag team action. Knowing the ways of Central Command, the ref is bound to have his hands full in trying to control all the action.)
TITAN DEATH
DISASTER vs. KILL PREY
(Kill Prey has a new sense of determination and focus after leaving the circus act that surrounded him on Vin Strutter's team. After struggling in the rankings during his association with Vin Strutter, Kill Prey now sees this feud as his way to catapult back up the rankings to the top of the GWF. Many wrestling followers feel the same way as well. However, Disaster has warned Kill Prey that he's not just some stepping stone and is confident that Kill Prey is no match for him.)
INTERPLANETARY CHAMPIONSHIP
(C) THE BETRAYER vs. TRISTAN
(The Betrayer pulled off a major upset over Tauran early last month to capture the IP title. Tristan looks to take that title for himself and extract some punishment on The Betrayer along the way. This feud has been red hot lately. Just last month the GWFZ reopened it's doors and one of the competitors, The Surgeon, revealed that he was the one who performed the surgery on Tristan's broken neck after being paid off by The Betrayer. This certainly gives validity to the rumors that Tristan's neck will never properly heal. One has to wonder though, is Tristan overloading himself with competition as he not only wrestles The Betrayer in the GWF but has also been showing up on GWFZ shows to battle The Surgeon?)
IRON MAN TABLES MATCH
PAYBACK vs. TANCK
(Tanck gained the upper hand in this feud last year and since 2120 and the debut of Gryt, Payback has moved on to face the newcomer. However, after a match with Payback and Gryt, Tanck attacked Payback and sent him through a table. With the feud now rekindled, the two enemies face off in an Iron Man Tables Match. The match will take place for thirty minutes with the winner being the wrestler who can send his opponent crashing through the most tables. Brutal, but both men have agreed to the match and the fans look forward in anticipation.)
TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
(C) CENTER STAGE vs. HAVOC & PARALYZE
(The team of Amazing Mann and Steele Freak have been dominant as Tag Team Champions for over 9 months now. Havoc & Paralyze are always top contenders in the tag team division but they have only recently received a title shot, a match that ended in Center Stage getting their selves disqualified, thus retaining the titles. The Gladiators will now have their rematch though.)
FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE
VALOUR vs. THE GATEKEEPER
(Valour has destroyed The Gatekeeper in every match since The Gatekeeper's debut at the beginning of the year. Yet The Gatekeeper keeps coming at Valour which, if he didn't, Valour would surely keep coming after him anyway. The Gatekeeper has severely angered Valour and many feel that is a mistake. The men's most recent encounter saw The Gatekeeper suffer a mild injury in a Table match. This is his first match back since then and he now faces Valour in a Falls Count Anywhere match.)
WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP
THRASH's RETIREMENT MATCH
(C) PHANTASY vs. THRASH
(Thrash has finally been called back to Aethra marking Titanmania 25 as her retirement match. The Women's title will also be on the line though, leaving one to wonder, will the female warrior who dominated the women's division for year after year be taking the Women's title back to Aethra?)
MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH
SWARM vs. TRICKS vs. RECKLESS vs. SLAVE BEAST vs. ANIVAR vs. GRYT
(A new concept has been adopted by the GWF...the Money In The Bank Ladder Match! A briefcase hangs above the ring with a contract for a GWF Championship match enclosed inside. The winner can "cash in" the contract at anytime up to a year to wrestle for the GWF Championship. This is an outstanding opportunity for one of these 6 men to propel them self into the main event level. It won't be an easy task getting there though as ladder matches have proved to be very dangerous and with this many competitors fighting for the same goal, the danger is even more elevated.)
GWFZ CHAMPIONSHIP
(C) DR. PAYNE vs. ENSOR
(The GWFZ's doors have been reopened after a long absence due to the wrestling ban many years ago. Dr. Payne has emerged as GWFZ Champion after an eight man tournament just last month. While the 'Z' competitors haven't had much time to showcase their talent yet, the whole universe will be watching at Titanmania 25. What we do know about these two men though is that Dr. Payne is so far undefeated and has an impressive background. While Ensor has been training under GWF legends, Star Warrior and Justice, for at least a few years now. Who will come out on top at Titanmania?)
