CARD 10 GWF – BIGTIME ENTERTAINMENT COSMIC CLASH 2087 – (9/9/09)
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. This is COSMIC CLASH. Ganymede Stadium is packed to capacity with throngs of people, all here to witness something new. That’s right, tonight we will have a new champion – an Interplanetary Champion. The thrills don’t stop there, though; this card is filled with drama. Let’s not forget, Brute gets his Cosmic Cage Match with Proteus tonight, and COSMIC CLASH will end with Actagon defending the Galaxian Championship title against the ferocious Comrade Terror. Let’s go ringside for all the action.
COMMANDER SAM vs. WOLF---------- Lots of reversals early. Commander Sam gets an edge and sends Wolf into a Peacemaker Slingshot. Wolf makes for the outside. Wolf grabs Commander Sam by the leg, drags him outside the ring, and smashes him into a steel post. Commander Sam is hurled back into the ring by Wolf. Wolf crushes Commander Sam with an atomic knee drop and goes for the pin; Sam kicks out quickly. Wolf is on his feet and off the top turnbuckle in a flash. Commander Sam raises a knee into Wolf’s head. A series of reversals leads to a Sam’s Slam, and Wolf heads for the outside again. Wolf crawls back in to meet the referee’s count. More reversals. Wolf sends Commander Sam into the turnbuckle, but Sam gets in an elbow. Wolf leaves the ring for the third time, and re-enters in time to meet the ref’s count. Commander Sam sends Wolf into the turnbuckle; Sam rushes in, but Wolf moves leaving Sam lurching into a hard fall outside the ring. Wolf brings the fight to Commander Sam, and they start slugging it out. WOLF WINS BY DISQUALIFICATION.
KILLER QUEEN vs. THANTOS---------- Killer Queen sends Thantos into the turnbuckle. Thantos elbows a surprised Killer Queen to gain control. A double knee lift from Thantos leaves Killer Queen covered. Killer Queen kicks out after two. Thantos slaps on the MASTERLOCK. Killer Queen struggles, but has to tap out. THANTOS WINS BY SUBMISSION.
The match to decide the Interplanetary Champion is now secure. Thantos will face Wolf in a No Disqualification Match for the Interplanetary Championship title a little later in COSMIC CLASH.
The entrance to the ring area is ablaze with pyrotechnics and our next two competitors walk down the ramp side by side. The crowd is wild with excitement and the cheers have reached a fever pitch.
OMEGA vs. STAR WARRIOR---------- Omega leads out with a hammerlock which Star Warrior reverses. Star Warrior takes a page out of his dad’s playbook and lands multiple karate chops. Star Warrior throws Omega out of the ring, and Omega slides back in to avoid a count. Star Warrior catches Omega with a NOVA LAUNCH as Omega re-enters the ring. STAR WARRIOR WINS BY PIN.
Not sure the fans got what they wanted in that match. It was terribly short. It seems safe to say that Omega’s glory days are well behind him.
INVINCIBLE KRAKEN vs. MASSIF---------- Invincible Kraken goes for a backward leg sweep, but Massif gets behind Kraken and applies a grinding bear hug. Massif then head butts Invincible Kraken. Invincible Kraken is down, however Massif can’t get the pin. After two more head butts from Massif, Invincible Kraken slides out of the ring. Massif comes out of the ring only to be grabbed and body slammed by Invincible Kraken onto the concrete floor. MASSIF WINS BY DISQUALIFICATION.
The announcer decrees that the next match will be a Cosmic Cage Match, and the crew sets to work erecting the cage.
PROTEUS vs. BRUTE---------- [FEUD] Following a brief exchange, Proteus levels Brute with a Grecian Power Drop. Proteus starts to climb the cage, but Brute pulls him back. Proteus launches Brute with an OVERHEAD TOSS and begins the climb again. An angry Brute pulls Proteus back. Proteus repeats the process; Brute is tiring but not enough to let Proteus escape the cage. Proteus decides on another OVERHEAD TOSS, this time throwing Brute right into the cage. The crowd is on their feet. Brute is completely oblivious and bathed in blood as Proteus climbs out of the cage. PROTEUS DEFEATS BRUTE.
The announcer reminds the spectators that the following match is a No Disqualification Match for the title of Interplanetary Champion.
THANTOS vs. WOLF---------- [FEUD] This was an epic battle; both competitors were a bloody mess by the end. Wolf had control early and tore Thantos up with a SAVAGE FACE CLAW. Thantos fought back in a rage a successfully nailed Wolf with two Satanic Skullsmashers. Thantos constantly has to chase Wolf out of the ring and then back in. In the end, Wolf went for the SAVAGE FACE CLAW again and got the three count. WOLF WINS BY PIN, and becomes GWF – BIGTIME ENTERTAINMENT’s first Interplanetary Champion.
The announcer declares that the next contest will be a Galaxian Championship Title Match.
COMRADE TERROR vs. ACTAGON (Galaxian Champion)---------- The champ reverses an elbow smash from Comrade Terror and sets up a reverse piledriver. Actagon goes for the quick cover. The winner and still Galaxian Champion… ACTAGON WINS BY PIN.
And with that final bell, COSMIC CLASH draws to a close. Thanks for viewing.

Promoter's notes on the upcoming card: The BIG BANG.
Lord Nexus has been taking things slow since his return from injuries sustained at The Long Run in a match against Invincible Kraken. The match against Comrade Terror could be a big step towards title contention.
Pit Viper has had a pretty solid run lately, and Pulsar is looking to further improve his position among his fellow athletes.
Actagon may be the GWF Champ, but Proteus hasn't had any interest in standing in his friend's shadow. Proteus recently has seen a meteoric rise in ranking, and he's enjoying his new reputation as a King of the Cage.
Thantos has made it clear that he is unhappy with the level of success the former Interplanetary Champion, Wolf, is benefiting from. Executioner has been charged with fixing Thantos' problem, and he takes this job very seriously.
We haven't heard much from Massif lately about his championship aspirations; perhaps Massif's inability to make much headway has kept him quiet.
Renegade seems happy, having escaped the spotlight. However, rumor has it that he refused a bid from the executive committee to participate in the Interplanetary Championship tournament at Cosmic Clash in favor of staying focused on the GWF Championship Title. The Space Croppers' tag team title match against Society of Death will be the first GWF Tag Team Championship Title defense for the Society of Death since they won the belts at Stellar Slam. On a related note, we haven't seen hide nor hair of Mutant since Kraken replaced him with Ghengis Khan as the other active partner on the team. Mutant's curious absence makes us wonder if he is holding a grudge.
The Star Warrior and Actagon match... This fight has been touted as a battle for the ages. Some fans have wondered how the IP belt came to be around Star Warrior's waist rather than the GWF belt that Actagon wears, and vice versa. No one seems to doubt how great these two champions are, though. This match should be amazing.
