Thanks for all the comments and responses recently! Much appreciated. dwt77 Yeah, Morpheus has finally gathered some needed steam after a few set backs. He gets to the top of the card and then stumbles. We'll see if he finally unseat Omega or if this could be one of his last chances at the title for some time... tafkaga Would love to see the results from your Classics fed! Always looking for golden age or early years stuff. I don't read as many "current" feds as I should, but I always try to check in on any that are rockin' the 70's-90's. It's always helpful to see the directions other people go and so much of that can do with the dice just as much as creativity. The road to Galaxies Collide will continue as I close out 2078. Looking forward to powering through 2079, too and increasing my output a bit. It's been a long road, but I've got a pretty good groove going now. Thanks again!

GWF Classics #56: The Main Event (card 13) 11.05.2078 from Miranda Center, Uranus
- #1 Contenders Match - Defiance vs. The Crosscurrents Blood defeated Thetis with a DQ at 5:12 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: The Crosscurrents have some momentum going and they were a little surprised that they'd have to face Defiance in this #1 Contender's match.
Blood and Jammer dominated Vortex early on with some wonderful continuity and double teaming.
He made a come back after Blood missed a dropkick, tho and made the desperation tag.
Thetis was hot and after a Tidal Wave Tackle, Blood rolled out. Thetis was relentless and followed him out, going so far as to grab a chair! The ref warned him and Thetis pushed him to the ground and the ref called for the bell!
Temper, temper... It's clear the Crosscurrents want what they feel they deserve and this new attitude may have backfired... Will Defiance accept the shot off a DQ? Will the championship committee call for another bout for a decisive finish?
K.O. Keller vs. Harley Marlboro K.O. Keller defeated Harley Marlboro with THE TEN COUNT at 21:46 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: These two put on one of the finest brawls we've seen in a while!
Harley and Keller have had their disagreements as of late and when last they met, Keller won via DQ igniting a feud that has become a 4-way war! Santon and Hechilles are also in the midst of this battle and the question becomes, which man comes out on top.
A win here certainly does a lot, but will it put an end to the feuding?
They went back and forth in and out of the ring and both men were throwing all their big moves early on, but neither backed down.
About half way through the match spilled outside and Keller laid Harley out on the announce table! He mounted the apron and dove off with a flying fist that broke the table!!!
Keller got up slowly and then smashed Harley into a chair! The ref let him get away with it and KO was about to follow it up with an Irish whip into the stairs... Somehow Marlboro reversed it and both men were laid out on the floor...
The count almost reached 10, but they crawled back in and Harley pressed his advantage.
Still a MARLBORO RUSH and a plunge couldn't finish Keller off..
Keller ducked a lariat and hit a spinebuster!
A flurry of stiff strikes led to a heart punch and then Keller hit THE TEN COUNT for a hard fought 1, 2, 3!
Harley was up and both me were bloody and battered. Forehead to forehead... Harley shoves off and extends a hand...
Keller grabs it... CLOTHESLINE! Keller is down!
Harley stumbles from the ring, he lost the battle, but the war clearly continues...
Santon the Loner vs. Commander Sam Commander Sam defeated Santon the Loner with a DQ at 4:30 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Interesting matchup here. They're definitely no strangers. Sam and Keller waged war with Santon and Mangus and Sam has had more than their own share of singles matches.
A little over 3 years ago, in fact, they met for the first time and Santon picked up the win. He would keep winning, in fact, until about a year ago when Sam finally scored a win and would continue to win in their next two meetings. This rivalry may be secondary to Keller/Santon and Sam/Mangus, but that doesn't mean there's not plenty of hate!
They jockeyed for position and Santon came out on top. He hit three atomic knee drops, but Sam wouldn't go quietly into that night.
He came back in a big way after taking some of Santon's best moves!
A left hook led to a slingshot suplex... A Star Spangled Banner! That was Sam's old finisher and we've only seen a few times over the past couple years! He's pulling out all the stops!
SAM'S ATOMIC DROP!
1, 2... WAIT! Here's Mangus! He blasts Sam over the head with his stun rod! The ref calls for the bell immediately and Mangus pulls Sam up... He comes off the ropes and hits him with a lariat! Sam is down. Santon has left the ring area.
Mangus stands over the fallen Sam. Will these two every be finished?
Sam thought he'd taken care of Mangus after their last meeting... Clearly Mangus doesn't agree.
Cosmos vs. Tano Tano defeated Cosmos with a DEIMOS DRIVER at 8:28 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Cosmos was accompanied to the ring by Omega's son, the young man known as Star Warrior.
Tano and his tag partner, Rama are coming off some stinging losses to the CrossCurrents and are currently out of title contention.
Cosmos started off strong and set a methodical pace filled with hi impact moves that had Tano reeling. It looked like it was a done deal, but even after a Cosmic Skullcrusher and superplex, Tano came off an Irish whip with a big spinning DDT!
Cosmos was on dream street and even as Star Warrior cheered him on, Tano hit the DEIMOS DRIVER and stole the win!
Warrior came in to help Cosmos up and Rama and Tano mocked them!
This is a different side of the Wind Riders... The fan favorites are drawing heat mocking the popular young Cosmos and the son of Omega!
Hechilles vs. Mangus Hechilles defeated Mangus with a DQ at 3:27 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: There was some great chain wrestling to begin with, but a big belly to back release suplex had Hechilles on top.
He may have taken too much time, though, because Mangus was able to come off the turnbuckle shortly after with a huge lariat!
THE ANNIHILATOR! 1, 2... NO!
Hechilles gets the shoulder up.
Mangus has bad intentions... another ANNIHILATOR!
Here's Commander Sam!!
Mangus jumps out of the ring to meet him, but the ref is oblivious as Hechilles is getting dazedly to his feet.
Not to be outdone, tho, Hechilles makes his way outside and goes for Mangus...
Mangus has a chair and Sam backs off, but Hechilles grabs Mangus... NO! Mangus waffles him with the chair!
The ref calls for the DQ! Hechilles is able to get to his feet!
Sam hits Mangus from behind! They're brawling as Hechilles slowly gets to his feet.
Harley Marlboro from the crowd! He decks Hechilles and they're brawling!
Finally officials separate them all. There are issues all over this place.
- Omega-Morpheus Contract Signing -
We have a table set up in the ring along with contracts laid out and some GWF officials on hand to observe the proceedings! Cosmos and Star Warrior have made their way out together. Star Warrior is looking fit and we’ve heard a lot of talk about an impending in-ring debut! The two youngsters stand at ringside together waiting on the champ and challenger.
Morpheus makes his way out to a split reaction. Some fans will never be on board with the Man From Aldeberran, but others have certainly gotten behind his quest to dethrone the dominant champion.
Speaking of which, Omega makes his way out to a fantastic reaction, tho there are a few jeers peppered throughout the big pop…
Once in the ring, Omega makes his way to each corner holding the richest prize in the game high above his head before making his way to the table and laying it respectfully in the center.
Morpheus’ eyes have never left the title… It’s as if it exists completely separate from the champion, himself.
Both men look over the contracts and the officials hand them pens…
Morpheus grabs a microphone…
MORPHEUS: Before I put my name on the dotted line, I have a few things to say. Omega, you and I have traveled up and down this road together for a long time. We’ve defended the honor of the GWF from outsiders, we’ve stood against one another for gold and respect. It’s no secret that I’m jealous of the heights you’ve achieved over the past two years. It’s no secret that I believe it to be my destiny to hold that on my shoulder after Galaxies Collide. And… It’s also no secret that every chance I’ve had, you’ve beat me. You beat me 2 out of 3 falls, you beat me in a cage, and you beat me with that strap hanging above a ladder… And I know in my heart and soul, black as they may be, that if it weren’t for you, I’d be the man dominating the GWF… So to prove… To prove to you, to prove to all these fans, and to prove to myself, that I deserve that prize, I think we should add a stipulation to this match. We should make it a match that proves once and for all who the best of the best really is… And the only way to do that… For the first time in a GWF… Is a 60 minute Iron Man Match!
The fans pop big and Omega looks stoically between the challenger and his belt…
OMEGA: Morpheus, it’s clear to me that there are some folks here, few as they may be, that think it’s time for me to fade off into the sunset, or at least defer to another champion… But I have fought every challenge, taken every beating, and come out, at the end of the day, when that bell rings, the Galaxian Wrestling Federation Champion! I have sought to do one thing and one thing only, to make that belt the most important title in the universe! And I am not ready to go quietly into that night. I will always accept any challenge any where any time… So, of course you can have your Iron Man Match. And I’ll go one step further… If I can’t beat you in 60 minutes… I will not challenge for the GWF title for one full year! No automatic rematch, no crying the blues about destiny. And I would ask that you, Morpheus do that same!
Both men stare one another down. It’s a long tense moment as officials scribble the extra stipulations on each contract…
Omega signs quickly and confidently. Morpheus slowly, methodically, yet assuredly, finally does the same. All the while staring at the glittering golden belt in front of him. The belt that tells the universe: you are the best wrestler.
Omega extends his hand and both men shake over the belt. Morpheus grips tighter and Omega adds pressure. They’re not letting go. Not a words is being spoken. Cosmos hops up onto the apron as Star Warrior looks on…
They finally release their vice like grips…
Here’s Harley Marlboro! And Santon! And KO Keller! And Hechilles! All four men surround the ring and stare at the champ and challenger! Are we looking at the next #1 contender in this bunch? All 4 men have issues and all 4 have a claim… Who will come out on top and how will we determine that?
The camera slowly zooms in on the belt as we fade to black!
Overall Card Rating: 2.75

GWF Classics #57: The Main Event (card 14) 12.03.2078 from Precipice Pavilion at the Oasis, Mercury
- Non-Wrestling Segment - It has been officially decided that at Galaxies Collide we will have a Fatal Four Way bout to determine the NEW #1 contender to the GWF Title! Former champ, KO Keller will face three former contenders, Santon the Loner, Harley Marlboro, and Hechilles. Which man will prevail and go on to face the winner of the title match?
They’ve been battling in and out of the ring over the past few months and all four have issues with the other. Tonight, they’ll do battle in a specially signed tag match that sees Hechilles and Keller team up to face Santon and Marlboro. With the Fatal Four way weeks away, will these men be able to form cohesive units tonight? Or will things break down once again?
It’s also been announced the Cosmos has a special announcement and challenge for the Wind Riders!
Solar Flare will attempt to get a measure of revenge as he takes on Mimic in singles action, but it’s no secret that he wants Screw in a POW rules match at Galaxies Collide! Will the monster accept? And how long will Ricken Prince be able to avoid the Titan’s thirst for vengeance?
Also, we’ll see Cordsar face off with Torin Caelum in a Submission Match! Will Caelum get a fair shake from one half of the tag champs?
Defiance and the Crosscurrents will battle it out once more to determine a #1 contender to the tag belts! Their last meeting ended in a DQ and the championship committee didn’t want to see it decided that way… Neither did these teams!
And Mangus has challenged his nemesis Commander Sam to a match at Galaxies Collide, a match that the hometown hero was only too quick to accept. Will Sam continue his hot streak or will his hated foe spoil dreams of a number one contendership spot?
Cosmos vs. Rama Rama defeated Cosmos with a DEIMOS DRIVER at 10:02 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: Cosmos was still smarting over his loss to Tano on the last card in spite of the slightly underhanded way Rama helped his partner out.
Cosmos was once again accompanied by the young Star Warrior and Tano was with is partner as well.
Cosmos went right for the win out of the gates and dominated the Wind Rider for the opening moments. Rama had a short-lived comeback, but again Cosmos put a top to it.
It looked like it would be elementary, especially after a big Cosmic Skull Crusher, but Rama wouldn't stay down and Cosmos began slowing the pace and playing the mat game.
Rama's agility came into play, tho when Cosmos whipped him into the ropes and he came off with a flipping power bomb! Cosmos was reeling... DEIMOS DRIVER! A cover 1, 2, 3!
Whoa! Rama gets the pinfall and he and Tano are gloating in the corner...
Star Warrior is in, helping Cosmos up...
Cosmos grabs a mic.
COSMOS: Ok, ok, you two clowns take all the time you need over there... But this ain't over... I'm here, still standing, and the only way I can figure it, is we need another match... At Galaxies Collide... There's two of you... And I'm proud to announce... There are two of us!!!
Star Warrior steps up and Cosmos raises his hand as the crowd cheers.
TANO: Well, well, well... So you went out and got Omega's son. Convinced him you weren't a loser and now you want a match?
RAMA: That's just fine with us. But remember, kid, we might be from Deimos and Omega might've brought us in, but come Galaxies Collide, when you lace up those boots and stand across the ring from us, we'll have no problem making short work of you... Or you, Cosmos!
What an announcement! Star Warrior will debut at Galaxies Collide as Cosmos' tag team partner against the Wind Riders!
Solar Flare vs. Mimic Solar Flare defeated Mimic with a Titan Drop at 7'30" Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: Solar Flare has stated this will be the first on his list and he'll face Screw at Galaxies Collide... Ricken Prince has said it'll be the only way he gets to him at Perennial.
Mimic, of course is not to be taken lightly.
Flare pounded on him early and was certainly enthusiastic in the punishment he dished out.
But Mimic came back from no where with a big fisherman's suplex. Flare hung in there, but his comebacks were short-lived.
Mimic would go up top, but Flare tossed him to the mat! PALADIN MISSILE!
1, 2, NO!
The action spills outside and Flare powerbombs him on the apron!!!
Mimic is hurting!
Titan Drop back inside! 1, 2, 3!
Flare looks to the camera and says: One down!
- #1 Contender's Match - Defiance vs. The Crosscurrents This match ended in a draw (Time Limit Draw) at 30:00 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: We know these four can go. The Crosscurrents are one of the most exciting tag teams in the GWF and have positioned themselves at the top of the ladder.
Defiance may be the best tag team to never hold the GWF Tag belts. Will this match get them there?
Their last bout ended in a DQ victory for Blood and Jammer. Going in all four men realize the stakes and seem determined to have a clear winner.
Blood and Vortex started things off and we were in a treat from the get go. Both teams were at the top of their game and both used lots of tag maneuvers, quick tags, and defensive tags when in trouble.
Just a very exciting match that stayed in the ring almost the entire time.
We had multiple false finishes and finishers used and it really could've gone either way.
The finish came as both teams were running on empty and Jammer and Vortex were jockeying for postion. Thetis was tagged in and Jammer went down hard after a tidal wave tackle, but he made the tag to Blood! Blood was in and he tried to get something started, but Thetis came back!
WATERY GRAVE!!!
1...2.... The bell rings and we have a time limit draw!
The fans are on their feet. It truly was an amazing back and forth tag match that displayed each teams strengths and leaving many questioning if they had an weaknesses.
It was announced later that due to the finish of this match, both teams would receive title shots!
Defiance, as a result of their win by DQ after the last outing, would get the shot at Galaxies Collide!
The Crosscurrents would face the winners of that title match on the following card.
Defiance vs the Mensans! They put Jammer out and nearly ended his career a couple years ago. There's a lot of history and Defiance have beaten them before. Will they wear the gold to close out the year?
- Submission Match - Torin Caelum vs. Cordsar Torin Caelum defeated Cordsar with a DQ at 11:06 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Probably one of the most underrated feuds in the GWF would have to be Cordsar vs. Torin Caelum. The Mensans were able to lift the tag straps off Caelum and Cordsar has made no attempt at modesty in gloating over his victory in singles competition.
Caelum made a big statement early with some shoulderbreakers, making his intent clear.
He punished Cordsar and was wearing the Mensan down when a whip into the turnbuckle changed the momentum of the match. A lariat had Caelum down and Cordsar kept the pressure on, targeting the knee!
Caelum was in trouble during a figure four attempt, but he would come back. A belly to belly led to another shoulderbreaker, and Caelum slapped on an abdominal stretch!
Cordsar was racked with pain when Trotarus jumped on the apron! Caelum let got of the hold and Cordsar rolled out of the ring as his partner comforted him...
Caelum came over the top with a plancha onto both men!
But he made the mistake of then focusing his attack on Cordsar and was blindsided by Trotarus!
The ref saw the whole thing and as the Mensans headed for the hills, the ref called for the DQ.
Torin Caelum stated later, that is was time to change the game. He wanted Cordsar in a cage, no escapes, no pinfalls, submission only! He wants a fair fight. Will he get it? It's known that the championship committee is fed up with the cowardly antics of Cordsar and his ilk. But will they grant such a dangerous bout?
Harley Marlboro and Santon the Loner vs. Hechilles and K.O. Keller Harley Marlboro defeated Hechilles with a running lariat at 9:17 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: These four men are set to go at it as tensions have risen over the past few months between them all.
They will battle in a four way elimination match at Galaxies Collide to determine the new number one contender to the Galaxian title.
Hechilles and Keller were able to put aside differences and work as a solid unit. Santon and Harley were hardly able to mount offense, but when they did, they made it count with hi impact offense.
Keller and Marlboro brawled out of the ring on multiple occasions and it looks like the tension between these two in particular may be boiling over.
The finish saw Hechilles take the tag, but Santon came back and blasted Hechilles with a running clothesline and a pair of atomic knee drops. Headbanger's Ball! Another running clothesline and tag into Harley...
Running lariat that takes Hechilles out of his boots and Harley rolls him up for a quick win!
Hechilles kicks out, but not in time and that's when it erupted...
Marlboro knocked Keller off the apron and stood in the ring, but Santon hopped in and blasted his own partner!
Hechilles is up and taking it to Santon! Keller jumps back in and he and Harley are going at it. All four men are in the ring and brawling as we go off the air.
Overall Card Rating: 3.50

GWF Classics #58: Galaxies Collide 12.25.2078 from Niagara Tower of Lights, New York, Earth
- Non-Wrestling Segment - Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to GWF Galaxies Collide! We emanate from the Niagara Tower of Lights in New York on the planet Earth! This was the site of the very first GWF event ever back in 2074!
And we are closing out 2078 in grand fashion! We’ve got the GWF tag belts on the line as the Mensans defend against Defiance! Will Cordsar and Trotarus be able to hold on to the hard won gold or will the former POW standouts, Blood and Jammer finally climb to the top of the tag mountain!
And of course, Morpheus and Omega will battle for richest prize in the game, the Galaxian title in a first for the GWF. A 60 minute Iron Man match! The man with the most pinfalls in 60 minutes will take home the gold and lead us into 2079.
In another first for the GWF, four men will battle it out in a Fatal Four Way match to determine the next #1 Contender to the Galaxian title. Hechilles, Harley Marlboro, KO Keller, and Santon the Londer. Who will walk out with the opportunity to enter the Deimos Perennial and face the champ?
We also have grudge matches as Solar Flare attempts to avenge his tag partner in a POW rules match with Screw, Commander Sam answers the perpetual challenge of Mangus.
And, making his in-ring debut, the son of Omega, Star Warrior tags with his friend and a man he’s already spent a lot of time on the road with, Cosmos to take on the Wind Riders!
The Windriders vs. The Gamemasters Cosmos defeated Tano with a DQ at 4:51 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Well, Star Warrior's first bout in the GWF will be a win, but it will be by way of DQ...
Cosmos and Tano started it off and Tano arm dragged him and then grabbed a chinlock.
A quick tag would see a double team superplex and Cosmos was in trouble!
He made a desperation tag to the debuting youngster and Star Warrior took over!
The youngster looked great as he attacked the leg and looked to fly...
He hit a beautiful diving tomahawk smash showing shades of his father to a great ovation from the crowd!
Warrior made a tag and he and Cosmos worked perfectly together a double elbow smash off the ropes.
The display of potential greatness was cut short as Cosmos locked in THE MASTERLOCK on Rama, but Tano rushes in and drops an elbow on Cosmos!
Rama is up and they begin the double team as the ref calls for the DQ!
Warrior is in! Drops Rama with a flying forearm! He then hits a flying body press on Tano and the Wind Riders head for the hills!
COSMOS: Rama, Tano... This isn't over! We had you! It doesn't end here!
STAR WARRIOR: You're a disgrace! I looked up to you! The fans looked up to you! You were an exciting fun loving team and you may not have held any gold, but you gave it your all and we loved you for it... But we're through playing. This might be my first night, but I proved I can hold my own.
COSMOS: That's right! And we might be through playing, but make no mistake, you're looking at the Gamemasters right here! So next time we get in the ring be prepared!
Mangus vs. Commander Sam Commander Sam defeated Mangus with a DQ at 3:24 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: They started with a slower pace and we saw more wrestling than we've seen in a while from these two.
They go back and forth before Sam hit a slingshot suplex and Mangus rolled out!
They brawled on the floor and Mangus got the upper hand! He smashes Sam a piece of chain and the ref calls for the bell.
Mangus won't stop and Sam is busted open... Mangus isn't done tho! He suplexes his me across the steel guardrail! Sam is hurt, but Mangus begins smashing him with a chair until Caiman makes the save!
Caiman and Sam had a pair of great matches recently and there's a mutual respect, what a show of solidarity... The damage has been done tho...
[It is later announced that Sam will be out 6-8 weeks with broken ribs and a bruised kidney! Mangus escapes suspension, but Sam seems to have a new ally... Of course, that may not be good news for Caiman.]
- POW Rules - Screw vs. Solar Flare Solar Flare defeated Screw with a Titan Drop at 18:26 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: This a great and emotional match. Flare continues to seek revenge for the injury of Moonstrike and shows no fear taking on the monster, Screw.
Ricken Prince has stated he'd only face Flare in singles competition if he could beat Screw. Of course.
Flare came out swinging, but Screw would hit a lariat early that turned the tide of the bout for a while.
The action spilled out, tho and Flare came out on top of a brawl! He draped Screw across the guardrail and then hit a leg drop from the apron!
He took the fight to the monster and kept the pressure on even as the match spilled outside again! They would battle back and forth and Flare scored a couple of nearfalls.
He even busted the big man open with a spinning elbow smash, one of many.
PALADIN MISSILE! But Ricken Prince interferes! There can be no DQ! Prince blasts Flare with BOW TO THE PRINCE! Both men are down.
They traded blows, neither able to hold on to much of an advantage, but Screw would miss a forearm and FLare hit a big fallaway slam!
Titan Drop! A cover! 1, 2, 3!
Prince is livid!
Flare celebrates in the ring and points at Prince.
Outside, Prince is berating Screw! Prince pushes him! Screw gives him a death stare, blood dripping from his face!
Prince is startled but continues yelling at him. Screw waves him off and leaves, Prince trailing from behind. - Fatal Four Way for #1 Contendership - K.O. Keller vs. Harley Marlboro vs. Hechilles vs. Santon the Loner K.O. Keller defeated Santon the Loner with THE TEN COUNT at 17:27 Santon the Loner defeated Hechilles with an atomic skullcrusher at 3:32 Harley Marlboro defeated K.O. Keller with a MARLBORO RUSH at 29:20 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: It was announced that this match would be fought with elimination rules and there would be no dqs!
It was a wild bout that saw the first fall come early as Santon worked over Hechilles and scored a nearfall with his finisher and then got a quick fall with an atomic skullcrusher.
The remaining three went at it big time. Harley scored a nearfall on Santon and certainly softened him up for Keller to come in wotk him over, but Santon withstood a TEN COUNT until a second felled him.
Harley and KO brawled furiously in and out of the ring! Keller was oh so close, but Harley kicked out of his finisher and a vicious stomp to the chest.
Somehow Marloboro came back, but Keller took two straight MARLBORO RUSHes and then came back one more time. He hit his pateneted flying knee and a pair of heart punches, but Harley rolled out as both men brawled on the outside Harley took the upper hand and sent Keller crashing into the ringstairs. He rolled him in and the MARLBORO RUSH to score the huge win!
The Mensans vs. Defiance for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Jammer defeated Cordsar with a BAD NIGHT at 24:52 Jammer defeated Cordsar with a piledriver at 52:19 Match Rating: 4.75 Match Notes: The Mensans face their first challenge in Defiance and Blood and Jammer are out for gold.
This was an incredible tag team contest and both teams earned their paychecks tonight.
They went back and forth wrestling smartly and keeping things in the ring.
Their were so many nearfalls before the first one finally came when Jammer locked Cordsar in BAD NIGHT and Blood cutoff Trotarus.
We had loads of double teams and some spectacular moments, including The Mensans hit double team dropkicks to Blood's knees!
Both teams were able to tag out when it was most needed too and it kept the bout extremely competitive.
Tortarus was busted open when Blood had him locked in SCAR TISSUE!
That score was soon evened when Jammer was split after a double team catapult sent him into the post!
The match continued in fantastic fashion and we were witnessing one of the greatest tag bouts in GWF history. The action began spilling outside and both teams resorted to a whatever it takes attitude and the ref let them get away with a lot.
Cordsar actually put Blood through a table, but not before being busted open. The Mensan got more agressive upon seeing his own blood.
Oddly enough, Blood was the only one not wearing the crimson mask by the end of the match.
We were approaching out one hour time limit when Blood came back after being put through a table and Cordsar had applied the figure four.
He was able to hit a brainbuster after turning things around and tagged in Jammer.
Jammer applied BAD NIGHT, but Cordsar made the ropes... Piledriver!
1, 2, 3!
We have new tag team champions! Defiance have done it! They've finally captured tag gold in the GWF!
The former champs are bloody and beaten...
Jammer and Blood celebrate in the ring. What a story after coming back from reconstructive knee surgery, Jammer is now wearing the Galaxian Tag Team Championship.
The fans are on their feet in appreciation for the match as well as their excitement over our new champs.
[This was a hell of a match. By the time all was said and done there were 4 pin saves on each side (I do 2/fall) and the tokens were as follows: Trotarus=4, Cordsar=4, Jammer=4, and Blood=2.]
Defiance won the Galaxian Tag Team Championship
- Iron Man Match - Morpheus vs. Omega for the Galaxian Championship Omega defeated Morpheus with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 13:30 Omega defeated Morpheus with a DQ at 15:46 Morpheus defeated Omega with a TRIP TO HADES at 18:52 Omega defeated Morpheus with a DQ at 28:06 Morpheus defeated Omega with a TRIP TO HADES at 31:00 Omega defeated Morpheus with a COSMIC WAR DANCE at 35:16 Omega defeated Morpheus with an Indian Death Lock at 37:17 Omega defeated Morpheus with a COSMIC WAR DANCE at 39:39 Omega defeated Morpheus with a pinning combo off the ropes at 41:39 Morpheus defeated Omega with a running lariat at 48:15 Morpheus defeated Omega with a TRIP TO HADES at 53:17 Omega defeated Morpheus with an Indian Death Lock at 53:51 Omega defeated Morpheus with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 55:12 Morpheus defeated Omega with a catching powerslam at 56:35 Omega defeated Morpheus with a 9 falls to 5 at 60:00 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: The first 60 Minute Iron Man Match in GWF history and it's fitting that it would be between the cornerstones.
Omega dominated the early goings and wisely used a variety of wear down holds, including his wicked abdominal stretch and Indian Death Lock to grind the challenger down.
He would score the first fall in domineering fashion after a TOMAHAWK THRUST!
Morpheus would leave the ring to catch a breather, but suckered Omega into following him out. Perhaps in frustration, perhaps in false confidence he blatantly used a chair and drew a DQ to lose a fall! The damage was certainly done, tho and he would come right back inside the ring to nail a TRIP TO HADES and grab his first fall!
They would battle back and forth and as we reached the half way point frustration mounted again and Morpheus would go the low road on the outside drawing another DQ! He could be giving away the match just to grab a momentary advantage! What is he thinking?!?
It worked, tho and he balanced it out with another TRIP TO HADES to score another fall!
Omega gave as good as he got, though and as the action spilled outside, Omega smashed Morpheus into the ring post! The Man From Aldeberran is split wide open! We're barely past the half way point and that blood loss is only going to worsen as we go on...
Omega pressed his advantage on the bloody challenger and would score another fall of his own with a COSMIC WAR DANCE!
Omega dominated the next 8 minutes or so, cutting off every attempted comeback and scoring two more falls with a tap out after an Indian Death Lock and a pin with another COSMIC WAR DANCE!
Morpheus came back, tho and whipped Omega into the ropes... Sunset flip attempt... NO, Omega drops and hooks the legs! 1, 2, 3!
Morpheus is hot and goes after the champ! The battled in and out of the ring and up on top in the corner, flip flopping back and forth.
Morpheus took control and the champ was busted open after being posted in the corner! Both men are wearing the crimson mask now and the blood loss has got to be playing a factor.
Morpheus would lariat the champ out of his boots to score another fall! He's still lagging behind after Omega's explosive offensive burst and dropping two by way of DQ, but could we be seeing the big comeback!
Omega would battle back and score another submission with the Indian Death Lock and it's beginning to look like the champ will run away with it as we close in on the 50 minute mark.
It's been an exhausting bout, but the challenger isn't through yet! Another big lariat rocked the champ... TRIP TO HADES!
1, 2, 3! Morpheus is coming back!
But the tide turns so quickly and Omega scores with a TOMAHAWK THRUST! Unbelievable! Morpheus has under five minutes to make up 5 falls...
Omega takes over and is stretching and working over Morpheus as we come to the home stretch. The champ mounts the top and comes off, but Morpheus catches him!!! Power slam!!!
1, 2, 3!
Morpheus has a fifth fall!
But he can't capitalize as both men, bloodied and exhausted stand toe to toe... COSMIC WAR DANCE!!!
1, 2... NO! How did Morpheus get the shoulder up!
We've got 10 seconds and we know Omega has the win, but what a statement by the challenger! Another COSMIC WAR DANCE, but it's all elementary as the bell rings and we've come to the end of a classic!
Omega is still the champion and Morpheus cannot challenge for the entirety of 2079...
Star Warrior and Cosmos are down to tend to their fallen mentors. Omega is up and raises the belt high as his son helps him stand. Cosmos and Morpheus are up and Morpheus makes his way to the champ...
All four stand still as tension fills the air...
Morpheus grabs Omega in an embrace and raises his arm!!!
The fans are on their feet as both Cosmos and Star Warrior applaud and we go to black... What a moment? What will be Morpheus' path following this loss? And can the new #1 contender, Harley Marlboro, stand a chance against the most dominant champion in wrestling today?

GWF Classics #59: The Main Event (card 15) 01.07.2079 from Filsinger's Jamestown Athletic Complex, New York, Earth
- Non-Wrestling Segment - Morpheus is in the ring at the top of the show with a microphone in hand.
MORPHEUS: For one hour, Omega and I gave it everything we had and, in the end, a story too often told… I came up short… Fate has spoken and maybe I’ve had my last chance. Maybe I’ll never be Galaxian champion… But know this, I gave you everything I had for the last 5 years. Maybe I’ve been on borrowed time. As you all know the GWF wasn’t my first battleground. I’ve spent years giving my blood, sweat, and tears to this business and held more than my share of titles. I helped build the GWF and helped turn it into the premiere organization in wrestling. Now I’m left with a question… What’s next?
Here comes Omega!
OMEGA: Old friend… We’ve been at war for the better part of three years. I’ve never been comfortable with it and I’ve always striven for respect and honor in our athletic contests. Because to me, that’s what this belt is all about. You’ve made me better. You’ve pushed me to be better than the best. And frankly, in front of all these people, I want to thank you for that. And in doing so I want to stop you here and hope that the answer to that question doesn’t have anything to do with retirement… In fact, I seriously hope that one day down the road… Maybe sooner than later, perhaps the GWF can see the Guardians teaming together at least one more time…
MORPHEUS: Well, Omega… Some questions have no easy answers. So all I’ll say for now, is we’ll have to wait and see….
-Ricken Prince is not happy with Screw’s loss to Solar Flare which sets up a match in which the Titan will see to complete his revenge for his former tag partner’s injury at the hands of Prince’s consortium.
We’ll see a POW rules match at Deimos to settle the score between these men. Can Flare complete the trifecta on his quest for vengeance or will Prince get up to his old tricks to secure a win?
-Commander Sam is coming back in time for the Deimos Perennial and we will see Mangus have to answer for yet another attack on his arch rival. These two have been to war so many times over the past couple years and just when we thought Sam had come out on top, Mangus comes roaring back with another volley. What will happen when they face one another at the Deimos Perennial.
-Harley Marlboro is your new number one contender and he will get his shot at the most dominant champion in GWF history when we hit the Deimos Intergalactic Arena! Will Marlboro accomplish the seemingly impossible task of bumping off the champ or will Omega continue his streak with another solid defense!
-Cordsar and Trotarus have been complaining backstage about not getting a follow up rematch for the tag titles against Defiance, tho the clause always stated the Crosscurrents would face the winners of their title bout. There was never any question of whether or not the Mensans would get one, just a question of when. Will Defiance answer the challenge at Deimos? Cordsar in particular has been raising a fuss… Perhaps he should be focused on Torin Caelum as they’ll meet tonight in a Submission only Cage Match in our main event!!!
Star Warrior vs. Tano Tano defeated Star Warrior with a DEIMOS DRIVER at 3:52 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Star Warriors first singles match came off the heels of his debut in tag action at Galaxies Collide.
Tensions have been rising between the Wind Riders and the newly minted Gamemasters. Tano was sure to give the rookie son of Omega a challenge, but you wouldn't know it from the beginning of the bout.
Warrior took him down with a chicken wing and then hit a big belly to belly.
A missed dropkick, tho was all Tano needed to turn it around, tho. And he spiked him with a spinning DDT and then poured on the offense with a somersault splash and a trio of big falling fist drops.
Star Warrior was in big trouble and Tano would hit the DEIMOS DRIVER to score the 1, 2, 3!
Rama jumped in the ring after but Cosmos cut off the attack and all four stared down as Star Warrior clutched the back of his head and neck.
How resilient will he be suffering a loss in his singles debut? Time will only tell...
One thing is for sure, tho, we have a full fledged feud on our hands between these two teams!
It was announced later that they would compete in a 2 out of 3 falls match at the Deimos Perennial!
The Wind Riders have definitely turned their backs on the fans, but will they have a different reaction in their hometown?
K.O. Keller vs. Caiman K.O. Keller defeated Caiman with THE TEN COUNT at 2:52 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: This match would advance the winner into a #1 contender's bout at the Deimos Perennial! Commander Sam was originally scheduled for this match, but after his injury at the hands of Mangus, Caiman was selected to take his place.
Keller came so close to winning the Fatal Four Way at Galaxies Collide, but Harley Marlboro squeaked by with the win and now he finds himself fighting for another chance.
Keller was desperate from the top and gouged the eyes, but Caiman would come back big and execute a brainbuster.
He slowed his pace, taking the threat Keller very seriously, but perhaps he should've pressed his advantage more, because Keller scored a near fall after Caiman went careening into the turnbuckle, missing a shot on Keller.
When Caiman got to his feet, he was met with a vicious TEN COUNT that secured the win. Short, but smart and impactful match. Keller moves on.
Hechilles vs. Santon the Loner Santon the Loner defeated Hechilles with a SPIKE PILEDRIVER at 1:45 Match Rating: 0.00 Match Notes: The winner would face KO Keller for the number one contender spot at Deimos.
Hechilles came out of the gate with an attempt at the cobra clutch suplex, but Santon elbowed out and bit the forehead!
A couple of big shoulder tackles led to the Headbanger's Ball off the ropes and Hechilles was on dream street!
Santon pulled him to his feet and then hit the SPIKE PILEDRIVER!
A cover! 1, 2, 3! Wow! Santon advances with dominance to face KO Keller at the Deimos Perennial.
Defiance vs. The Crosscurrents for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Blood defeated Thetis with a Blood Bath at 9:56 Vortex defeated Blood with a WATERY GRAVE at 20:26 Jammer defeated Vortex with a BAD NIGHT at 24:16 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: These two teams have engaged in a bit of a feud to determine who would get a shot at the former champs, The Mensans. Defiance got their chance at Galaxies Collide, but because of their last bout being a 30 minute time limit draw, the Crosscurrents were guaranteed a shot at the winners of that Tag Team title contest.
Defiance finally captured the gold and now they have to defend those title against their rivals...
It was everything you'd expect. The champs came on strong attempting to make a solid statement as the new champs while the challengers kept coming back and pulling out big moves to try to score the win.
The first fall came after some beautiful double team work by the champs and Blood used Blood Bath to score the fall over Thetis after about 10 minutes of action.
The next fall was hotly contested and they bounced back and forth with plenty of hi impact offense.
The finish saw Thetis receive a hot tag and take it to Blood with lots of big moves, but Blood made a tag out and Jammer scored a nearfall after a top rope clothesline.
Blood was back in a shot Thetis into the ropes, but Thetis dropped him with a swinging neckbreaker, made the tag to Vortex... WATERY GRAVE!
1, 2, 3!
We're all evened up.
The third fall came shortly after... Jammer was in trouble all of a sudden against Vortex, but the action spilled out and Jammer scored big with a whip into the guardraill followed by a lariat. He tossed back in and applied BAD NIGHT! Blood stopped Thetis from intervening and Vortex had to tap!
Great bout and the champs retain.
BLOOD: Cordsar, you whining punk! If there's anything left of you after Torin Caelum gets done tonight, you can have your rematch at Deimos! Defiance has never been afraid of you and we won't start being pushed around now.
JAMMER: You two punks took my knee out and I'll never forget that. You lit the fire that brought us to these titles and it's fitting that we took them from you. And we have no problem defending them with pride at Deimos... But make no mistake, there will be no mercy!
- Submission Cage Match - Torin Caelum vs. Cordsar Torin Caelum defeated Cordsar with a CAELUM'S GRIP at 3:35 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: Cordsar came to the ring sans Trotarus and still seeming sore over not getting their tag title rematch tonight.
Caelum looked all business and once the cage door was locked he got down to business.
Cordsar never stood a chance. Caelum executed a takedown and then hit a big dropkick that allowed him to twist the Mensan like a pretzel.
It led to CAELUM'S GRIP and a mercifully quick finish.
Torin Caelum gains a measure of revenge without the interference of Cordsar's partner.
As Caelum exited the cage, tho, Jammer and Blood hit the ring area!
Jammer entered the cage and dropped Cordsar with a lariat and then locked in BAD NIGHT while Troatarus was kept at bay by Blood!
Caelum nonchalantly walked to the back as finally officials restored some order. Cordsar was clearly hurting as the tag champs make a clear statement going into Deimos...

Tano beats Star Warrior? Santon beats Hechilles? I'm curious, did you spike your dice against the wall after getting those results?
Funny how no matter how differently we all see the characters, it seems like everyone sees the Mensans exactly the same.

Haha, yeah, I wasn't too pleased with the Star Warrior loss, but seeing that Cosmos had his struggles early on, I like the symmetry and can't wait until they both really start to take off a few game years down the road leading to their main event status.
Actually didn't mind Santon coming out on top. I've always felt like he can surprise you. His offense is pretty tough and even with the somewhat high PIN, he only has the one down-3 on defense. Don't think he's going to be able to take the strap off the champion, but could make for an interesting contender.
Good ole Cordsar and Trotarus... I've really enjoyed using them a lot. I envision them as the whiny heels, of course, but they CAN actually wrestle. Their movesets, especially Cordsar's, tell a good story and flow well. His submission feud with Torin Caelum has been one of the strongest undercard feuds I've had going. Caelum is definitely a beast about 80% of the time, but Cordsar seems to catch him on those "off" nights (i.e. the dice roll funny). I doubt they'll recapture the gold as Defiance are certainly on a hot streak. Since Jammer came back from his injury they've been nigh unstoppable as a team. Really hoping to get Paladin Power back in the mix when Moonstrike gets back from his injury.
Thanks for the comments!

I've tried to run him as the imposing giant in the past, but his win-loss record just wasn't good enough to support that kind of push. So, instead I made him an off the wall loose cannon. I've even used him as a "Black Scorpion" type front where no one would know who was under the mask from week to week. I really enjoy him.

GWF Classics #60: Deimos Perennial 2079 01.22.2079 from Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars
- 2/3 Falls - The Windriders vs. The Gamemasters Tano defeated Cosmos with a DQ Cosmos defeated Tano with THE MASTERLOCK at 19:42 Rama defeated Star Warrior with a Deimos Driver at 46:54 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: The Wind Riders are the veteran team and so far have performed as such. They've each dealt Cosmos a singles loss and Tano scored a win over Star Warrior in his singles debut. There's yet to be a clear winner in any tag team contest.
Tho, Rama and Tano hail from Deimos the crowd is decidedly split, the Gamemasters' faction eeking out an edge from the sound of the crowd.
This was an all out tag war and amazing athletic contest for the first fall. The Gamemasters showed no sign of being the rookie tag team, sure Star Warrior had a couple missteps, but the Wind Riders are a serious team.
Star Warrior made up for it early, hitting the Nova Blast and following it with a plancha to the outside!
After a few nearfalls and a near chokeout via Star Warrior's CETUS SLEEPER, Cosmos unveiled the new finisher he was rumored to have when he slapped on THE MASTERLOCK!
Star Warrior cut off the ring and Tano had to tap to the devastating hold!
The second fall was a marathon of back and forth action. Star Warrior took a huge beating and the ref ended up taking a bump after Rama came off the top. Cosmos tried to get the match back by interfering while the ref was down and we had pandemonium for a while!
Star Warrior was a bloody mess and by the time the ref came to he had to escort Cosmos from the ring in spite of a tag while he was down!
Star Warrior miraculously came back ,tho, and brought his partner in. Cosmos was hot and even applied THE MASTERLOCK again, but Tano was quick to break it up after feeling the painful hold earlier.
The action would see saw some more, but eventually a hot Cosmos took it outside and was DQ's for taking some liberties with a chair outside!
Bloody, but unbowed, Star Warrior tried to get something started in the last fall and had the equally bloody Rama to contend with, a hurricanrana led to a nearfall, but Cosmos broke it up.
The ref was on him, tho and not showing any lee way after Comos' earlier indiscretion.
While his back was turned, Tano entered and hoisted Star Warrior up for a Deimos Driver and pulled his partner on top of their foe!
1, 2, 3!
The Wind Riders take the fall and the match due to the DQ! What an incredible bout!
Cosmos is not happy, but he helps his partner to his feet as Tano helps Rama from the ring.
These four don't show any signs of putting an end to this rivalry...
Caiman vs. Hechilles Hechilles defeated Caiman with a count-out at 19:09 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: These two are no strangers, but Hechilles has triumped their last couple of outings, even scoring, but coming up short, a title match.
Caiman was looking for some redemption after losing in a pair of bouts with Commander Sam.
This was a strong style match that mimicked back and forth bouts of the 1990s Japanese style on Earth. Strong strikes, painful holds, and periodic big bombs for crazy nearfalls.
The opening exchange saw Caiman score one after a brainbuster. It would see saw back and forth for a while with both men coming close, and going all out. More King's Road style, actually.
Hechilles targeted the legs and lower back with some painful clover leaf holds, but Caiman would come back. A stiff Mangrove Uppercut was followed by a HANDICAPPER, but Hechilles wasn't done yet!
A Mangroveplex nearly sealed the deal, but Hechilles was able to come back and reversed a hold into a Russian leg Sweep!
They fought up top and Caiman went crashing to the met and then Hechilles hit a tornado bulldog!
Caiman rolled out, but Hechilles hit a belly to back release suplex on the floor and Caiman couldn't answer the count!
Hechilles wins this bout by way of countout.
Commander Sam vs. Mangus Commander Sam defeated Mangus with a DQ at 4:28 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: The violence between these two would reach new heights tonight, but not in any way one would expect...
The jockeyed for position early on and Sam came away with a decisive edge after a slingshot suplex.
He took the fight to his adversary with all of his hi impact offense including a superplex and the Commander Slam!
Mangus would roll outside and immediately go for a the ring bell! The ref called for the DQ, but Mangus stalked Sam with evil intentions...
Here comes Caiman and KO Keller! They take down Mangus and hold him at bay... A bloody Sam gets to his feet...
He grabs the ring bell and drives it into Mangus' skull! Keller and Caiman roll the now bleeding Mangus into the ring and Sam mounts the top turnbuckle! The fans are cheering him on...
Sam dives from the top and drives the ring bell into Mangus' throat!!! Officials are out as well as medical crews...
What a scene?!? Sam is adamant that Mangus got what was coming to him, but this is an ugly scene. It appears Mangus is having trouble breathing and crews are working on him in the ring as officials keep Sam, Caiman, and Keller at bay.
[It is announced that Mangus will be out for at least 3 months of action! The committee takes a hard line against the three offenders and suspends all of them for 9 weeks!!]
Defiance vs. The Mensans for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Blood defeated Trotarus with a SCAR TISSUE at 0:42 Jammer defeated Cordsar with a running lariat at 13:14 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Defiance won the tag titles at Galaxies Collide and successfully defended them against the Crosscurrents on the last Main Event. The Mensans get their rematch tonight, but you have to wonder, can the fend off the red hot former POW stars?
Make no mistake, the history between these teams makes this a hot match. Trotarus and Cordsar nearly ended Jammer's career and when Jammer returned he and Blood scored some revenge, but the Mensans were able to defy the odds and win the tag titles off of the dominant Torin Caelum and El Virtuoso. With Virtuoso traveling on to defend his UWA Jr Heavyweight title, one was left to wonder who would rise to the top in the tag division.
Blood and Troatarus started off and before a minute had passed, Blood tapped out Tortarus!!!
Troatarus grabbed an arm bar, but Blood reversed the hold and then dropkicked the knee! Trotarus hit the mat hard and Blood slapped on SCAR TISSUE! Coprdsar tried to make the save, but Jammer cut him off and the big man tapped out!
The Mensans were shocked, but could they even it up in the second fall?
They did come roaring back and dealt Blood some punishment, but it wasn't enough, after some nice moments and tag work from both teams, Cordsar missed a dive to the outside and was nearly counted out.
He made it back in but a skull splitting lariat took Cordsa's head off and Defiance defended the titles with authority after two straight falls.
The Mensans had their moment of glory, but after Cordsar being dominated in the last match he had with Torin Caelum.
Defiance could not find themselves in better position after two strong defenses and no clear challengers. They may have earned some time off, but will they take it?
Ricken Prince vs. Solar Flare Ricken Prince defeated Solar Flare with a BOW TO THE PRINCE at 14:42 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: This bout told a great story. Flare comes into it seeking revenge for Moonstrike's injury and already beating Mimic and even Screw! Ricken Prince was clearly the mastermind behind the event and this was the culmination of months of feuding.
Flare was on fire to begin the match. He hit an early PALADIN MISSILE and then the brawling took to the forefront and he busted Prince open on the outside!
He punished the bloodied Prince and seemed to have match in hand. It looked like he'd run away with it, but he missed a finisher and gave Prince an opening. He could barely take it tho after the beating he'd seen.
He hit a big splash off the top, but Flare kicked out at 1!
ROYAL DECREE! NO! Flare kicks out!
BOW TO THE PRINCE... Moonstrike is up on the apron! Screw is there, tho and he pulls him off! Prince tells him to go after him, but he stays his hand!?!
Prince takes it back to Flare, the action spills out and Flare is busted open after going face first into the guardrail!
He manages a comeback tho and smashed Prince into the announcers table!
Back inside, Flare goes up top, but Prince is able to crotch him and toss him off the top. Prince hit a clothesline from the top! BOW TO THE PRINCE!
1, 2, 3!
Prince wins! He's bloody and calling for Screw! The monster climbs into the ring with a chair and Prince tells him to hit Flare!
Screw... Won't? Screw doesn't see the sense in it. Prince berated him for losing to Flare and now he's taking a stand to Prince's orders.
Prince is yelling at him again. Screw shakes his head...
Prince shoved Screw!!! Screw drops the chair. Prince is telling him off still... Another push!
A slap!!!
Screw has had enough! He kicks Prince in the gut! He grabs him by the neck! FREAKISH FACE SLAM!
Flare is up and grabs Screw's shoulder... FREAKISH FACE SLAM!
Moonstrike is on the apron, but thinks better of it. He is injured after all and Screw's finisher played a part in that.
What a scene!
Morpheus vs. Torin Caelum Torin Caelum defeated Morpheus with a CAELUM'S GRIP at 8:52 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Given it's length you'd probably not think it a near classic, but it was poetry in motion.
Morpheus came on strong and was able to damn near outwrestling Caelum on the outset.
Caelum took him down hard with a shoulderbreaker and you could tell Morpheus was hurt!
Morpheus did get the advantage and then hit two body drops.
He took the fight to Torin and ended up scoring with an axe handle from the top!
It had a very old school Japan feel: hold for hold leading to a big move which led to bigger moves and a nearfall.
The first came after a TRIP TO HADES, but Caelum got the shoulder up. Morpheus' shoulder was still smarting from earlier, tho...
Caelum then came back in flourish and would lock on the Torin Death Lock. Morpheus scrambled for the ropes, but Caelum was relentless and scored with CAELUM'S GRIP and the Man From Aldeberran tapped out!
Torin Caelum scores big and easily moves himself into a top 5 spot with this win... Morpheus, however...
K.O. Keller vs. Santon the Loner Santon the Loner defeated K.O. Keller with a DEFAULT DECISION at N/A Match Notes: In controversial fashion, the executive committee of the GWF ruled that KO Keller and Caiman would share Commander Sam's suspension for the attack on Mangus earlier in the night.
As such, it was decided that would begin immediately and he would have to forfeit this number one contender match!
As such, Santon the Loner is your winner and NEW number one contender to the Galaxian Championship!
- 2/3 Falls - Harley Marlboro vs. Omega for the Galaxian Championship
Harley Marlboro defeated Omega with a MARLBORO RUSH at 7:00 Omega defeated Harley Marlboro with a TOMAHAWK THRUST at 18:03 Harley Marlboro defeated Omega with a MARLBORO RUSH at 31:06 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: Omega has defended the Galaxian title for the better part of four years. KO Keller was able to upset that streak, but Omega soon regained the belt and has held the belt for exactly 700 days and 11 quality defenses. The Galaxian title easily means more than any other title in the universe and it's all because that man, the living legend, Omega.
Harley Marlboro is something of a journeyman wrestler. He's held titles in other feds and been a staple of the GWF over the past couple years. He's even had an unsuccessful shot at the title a little over a year ago...
Omega got down to business early and proved why he's at the top of the mountain. Harley came roaring back for a brief moment, and hit the Marlboro Plunge, but Omega would not be denied...
Then Harley hit the Maffei Runway out of no where!
MARLBORO RUSH!
1, 2, 3! Harley picks up the first fall!
Harley presses his new advantage and even busts the champ open over the right eye with an other Maffei Runway!
The champ comes back tho and scores a nearfall with the TOMAHAWK THRUST!
The action spills outside and we get a piledriver on the announce table! Omega is down and the ref is chewing Harley out!
Back inside, tho Omega is able to comeback and they volley back and forth with holds and strikes!
Omega then strikes with the COSMIC WAR DANCE! A second busts open the brow of Harley Marlboro!
Both champ and challenger are now wearing the crimson mask...
Finally a TOMAHWAK THRUST scores a fall for Omega and we're all evened up!
The final fall saw Omega keep the pressure on and stretch Harley with an Indian Death Lock.
The challenger would come back... It was short lived tho as he missed an elbow drop from the top.
Omega would hit two more COSMIC WAR DANCES! But the story was that Harley wouldn't stay down! He was a bloody mess and Omega was shocked! He's hit him with everything he'd had and the fans could feel something turning...
Harley would hit a shoulder off the ropes and then set him up for two huge Maffei Runways in a row!!! The champ is bleeding, but up to his knees... Shakily...
Harley, bloodied, but unbowed takes Omega to the corner.. The champ is nearly defenseless!
MARLBORO RUSH FROM THE TOP!!!!
Harley is crawling! Drapes the arm over Omega...
1... 2... 3!!!!!
Ladies and gentlemen it's the end of an era! The Galaxian championship has changed hands and Omega is bloody and beaten in the center of the ring 2 falls to one, by your new GWF Galaxian Champion, Harley Marlboro!
Cosmos and Star Warrior are out to help up Omega... Even Morpheus comes to his old partner's side as Harley, barely standing raises the belt high!
What a night!
Harley Marlboro won the Galaxian Championship
Overall Card Rating: 3.61
