Bookmarked this so I can get caught up. What I have read though has been simply fantastic. I really like your take on the Classics Era. On a side note. Good luck getting back into the job market man. I'm in the same boat financially, but things should be turning around soon. Update : This is great stuff. It is a very unique take on the Classics Era and I'll be watching for more. Makes me want to start up a classics fed again.

Breaking the drought finally. Not the best of writing but definitely influenced by my multicultural class I'm taking this semester.
Sometimes History Repeats and Old Issues Come Back 02.20.2071 from Earth
- History Repeats - The Grandpa set the boy on his lap and started to tell his story. "Earth has had a great history of wrestling. It has also had a history of turmoil. There have been many conflicts, world and civil wars, and many conflicts amongst its people."
"Grandpa I'm not sure I know what you're talking about," said the boy with a raised eyebrow.
The old man just laughed, "Well maybe this will help you understand."
...
- Normal - Spirit Dancer vs. Rucksack Jack Spirit Dancer defeated Rucksack Jack with THE GHOST DANCE at 9:21 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: This was a decent match but was nothing special. It was a short fight with Spirit Dancer becoming the victor.
- Tag Team - American Dream and Benjamin Shroud vs. Krusher Kahn and Ozymov Ozymov defeated American Dream with a FANTASTIC VOYAGE at 26:42 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: This was a great tag match but there were obvious heightened emotions. American Dream was about to win the fight it seemed, when his partner, Benjamin, ran into the ring. Benjamin ran up and kicked Dream in the head. He then continued to beat on him and piledrove Dream. The ref confused as to what was going on and not being able to DQ Benjamin for hurting his partner let it go and let the other team get the pin. The crowd was stunned as to what happened.
- The American Nightmare - The old man looked at the boy and said, "You see son, Earth had many issues in the past regarding differences in its people. While they made great strides, not all of the pain was forgotten."
...
"Umm...excuse me Mr. Shroud," said an interviewer running up to Benjamin, "Could you explain your actions out there?"
Benjamin grabbed the mic and shoved the interviewer to the floor. "Yeah of course you'd want to know why I hurt the American Dream, whitey! Let me tell you why! That mockery and untrue ideal of the 'American Dream' is just another example of how anyone non-white is still being held back. Now at the Rumble that ass was embarrassed that his white ass was thrown out before me so he made sure to hold onto my black ass enough to give Marcel enough time to knock me out."
The interviewer started to get up and mumbled that he didn't think Dream did that for that reason. Benjamin just pushed him back down. "Shut up whitey of course you don't see it that way! Yeah the 'Great White Dream' would rather see a heel get a shot at the championship than a colored hero! I'm tired of this **** and I'm not going to sit by and let it happen. I'm going to show you what Benjamin Shroud is really made of!"
Benjamin takes the mic and throws it down to the interviewer and storms off.
...
- Tag Team - Praveer Singh and Marvelous Marcel vs. Chucho Morales and The Superstar This match ended in a draw (DOUBLE COUNT OUT) at 15:32 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Great tag match that had a disappointing ending. The match was back and forth and Superstar and Marcel had great exchanges. Unfortunately they took it out of the ring and paid more attention to fighting each other than the count which led to them both being counted out. Even with the disappointed ending the crowd ate it all up and anticipation for a rematch could be felt.
Overall Card Rating: 3.42

The Heat Continues.... 03.14.2071 from Earth
- -Heat Continues- - The boy had a puzzled look on his face. The old man chuckled as he could tell a question was coming his way, "Grandpa, I don't think that helped me understand at all."
The old man chuckled again, "Well boy, let me try and explain it like this. Earth has had quite the history in itself. While it has not been as bad as some planets it has definately had its share of wars within itself. Earth has had a history of its peoples not treating each other equally. By the time this was going on most of that had been lost. However, pain and hurt from the differences continued longer than the actions."
The boy spoke up, "So after they got hurt they didn't forgive and forget?"
"Well, they might have forgave but as you could tell by Benjamin Shroud, it definately wasn't always forgotten!" He continued, "You see that interview set the new presses on fire! The heat from Benjamin and Dream got so hot that people started to talk more about that than the championship!"
- Normal - Dog Soldier vs. Ozymov Dog Soldier defeated Ozymov with a Tamahawk Twist at 10 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: This was an ugly match with much of the fighting happening on the outside. The fighters were lucky that the ref let most of it go. However, Dog Soldier was able to come away with the victory.
- Cage - Rucksack Jack vs. Krusher Kahn Rucksack Jack defeated Krusher Kahn with a Train Hopping at 20:12 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: Everyone was surprised by the young Khan's lose. This was a great Cage match! It was a brutal match but Rucksack managed to escape the cage before Kahn!
- Tag Team - The Superstar and American Dream vs. Marvelous Marcel and Benjamin Shroud Benjamin Shroud defeated American Dream with a Countout at 25:02 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: It was a heated fight that had Superstand and Dream beating Shroud and Marcel easily. Things turned for the worse when the fight was taken out of the ring. The ref let most things go. Shroud had Dream on the outside and busted him on the ring pole before giving him two piledrivers on the exposed concrete floor. Dream appeared to be hurt and was unable to make it back into the ring.
- After the bell - While the bell had signified the end of the match it did not signify the end of the fight. Shroud jumped back out of the ring and continued to assault the hurt American Dream on the outside. Shroud used the bell as a weapon. The locker room staff cleared out to peel off Shroud from the bloodied Dream. It didn't take long for start to realize that Dream was hurt and called medics in to carry him back to recieve medical attention.
Overall Card Rating: 3.67
