Monday Night Massacre
05.26.2087 from Miranda Center
- Show Opening: In the ring with Thantos -
Welcome to Uranus! Today's show should be a good one; we're going to find out what Lord Nexus has planned for the Society of Death. We're also going to find out how the #1 contender for the Galaxian Championship will be determined. Let's get started!
(Thantos enters the ring to his theme music and a chorus of boos from those in attendance.)
THANTOS: Booing doesn't change the fact that I am the greatest champion that this Federation has ever seen. Unfortunately, since I am head and shoulders above everyone else here, nobody really stands out as a worthy opponent for me at War of the Worlds. So here's how we're going...
(Wolf's music kicks in and the wild man runs into the ring to confront Thantos.)
WOLF: What do you mean nobody stands out. I am currently ranked 3rd behind you and Star Warrior. Warrior had his shot, now it's my turn. WOOOOOO!
THANTOS: As you said yourself, you rank behind Star Warrior. He couldn't beat me, what makes you think you can if you're rated lower than he is.
WOLF: Star Warrior is a great wrestler, but he's not crazy like me! You haven't faced anybody as crazy as me! I'll take you down and take that title.
THANTOS: This isn't what I had in mind, but I'll tell you what I'm going to do. Since I am so generous, I am going to give you a non-title match tonight. You beat me, you've got a shot at the title at War of the Worlds. You lose and we're going to have to go with plan B.
WOLF: We won't need a plan B. I'm taking you down now! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Neptunian Space-Croppers vs. Henchmen
Comrade Terror defeated Renegade with an ATOMIC WARHEAD at 4:49
Match Notes: A very quick match to open MNM. The Space-Croppers got absolutely nothing going on offense. A flying skullcrusher and an Atomic Warhead and this match was over before half the people had time to get into their seats.
Pit Viper vs. Ghengis Khan
Ghengis Khan defeated Pit Viper with a cross-body block from the top turnbuckle at 17:48
Match Notes: A very long match that Pit Viper controlled most of the way. Khan reversed a stomach claw late in the match and then used a couple of high-risk deathjumps to finish off Viper. After the Khan went back to the locker room, Nexus came down to ringside to help Viper up and took a microphone to speak.
- In the ring with Lord Nexus -
LORD NEXUS: Krakan, get your ass down here right now, we are going to settle this once and for all.
(Krakan's music plays and he enters the ring)
INVINCIBLE KRAKAN: How dare you order Krakan around. Krakan takes orders from one man and that's Krakan.
LORD NEXUS: I don't care who you take orders from, you're going to listen and you're going to listen good. For months you've been attacking the Titans in most cowardly fashions. Sometimes when our backs were turned, sometimes when we were down, but it's ALWAYS been unprovoked. Well we are going to settle the score. I propose a match at War of the Worlds.
INVINCIBLE KRAKAN: Krakan has already fought you and found you unworthy. If you think...
LORD NEXUS: Not just you and me. The whole group of us. I propose a three-man tag match between the Flying Titans and the Society of Death.
INVINCIBLE KRAKAN: That's it? How anti-climactic. These stupid people were waiting for a big announcement from you and this is what you give them? A boring old three-man tag match between your group and Krakan's group?
LORD NEXUS: I'm not finished. This won't just be a three-man tag match. This will be a three-man elimination FEDERATION EXILE tag match! (The crowd explodes.) All members of the losing team will be banished for 4 months!
INVINCIBLE KRAKAN: 4 months? Who are we supposed to beat up while you guys are on your 4 month vacation?
LORD NEXUS: Ha! I wouldn't be so confident if I were you. Do you accept the challenge?
INVINCIBLE KRAKAN: Oh hell yeah! You dolts are going down. 4 months without the Titans. Could the GWF get any better than that?
Commander Sam vs. Killer Queen
Killer Queen defeated Commander Sam with a flying knee drop at 2:52
Match Notes: Another quick match. Killer Queen seemingly blocked or reversed everything Commander Sam threw at him before finally pinning him barely 3 minutes in.
Star Warrior vs. Exo-King
Star Warrior defeated Exo-King with a NOVA LAUNCH at 9:47
Match Notes: A great match with a lot of brawling outside the ring early on. After the early brawling settled down, Exo-King began to control most of the action. He made a costly mistake late in the match, however, when he threw Star Warrior outside the ring. Warrior rammed his head into a table, threw Exo-King back inside, and finished him off with a cross-body block into a Nova Launch.
- More fun with the Gladiators and Greek Gods -
The Gladiators are in the ring, let's see what they have to say this time.
MASSACRE: I need the Greek Goofs to come down to ringside. We need to discuss some things.
(The Greek Gods come down to the ring to a rousing ovation.)
MASSACRE: What makes you think you are worthy to defeat us.
ACTAGON: That match last week...(Actagon shakes his head) How many illegal moves can you get away with?! In a fair fight...
MASSACRE: Oh shut up! I don't know what you are talking about. If the refs didn't see it, it never happened. Look, I'm a reasonable guy. I'll still give you a chance to earn a title shot. You couldn't beat the biggest man in the GWF, so I'll give you a shot against the smartest man in the GWF.
ACTAGON: What does Omega have to do with....
MASSACRE: I'M TALKING ABOUT ME, IDIOT!!!!! You and me. One-on-one tonight. After that, we'll reassess our view on whether or not you deserve a title shot.
Actagon vs. Massacre
Massacre defeated Actagon with a DECAPITATOR at 19:49
Match Notes: An absolute classic, one of the greatest matches in the short history of the post code breaking era of the GWF. The two wrestlers traded blows early on in the match before Massacre went on a roll. He hit Actagon with every move in his arsenal including two consecutive Decapitators, two deathjumps, and three attempted pins. But Actagon fought back and took control with a number of moves of his own. He also attempted a number of pins but was unsuccessful. The turning point came late in the match when Massacre avoided a flying dropkick. After some punches, an atomic knee drop, and a Decapitator he was finally able to put Actagon away.
- Non-Title Match -
Wolf vs. Thantos
Thantos defeated Wolf with a DQ at 6:04
Match Notes: This was a short match as the wild man went crazy. He continually threw Thantos outside the ring and rammed his head into the rails a number of times. Finally the ref could control him no more and had to call for the bell, disqualifying Wolf early in the match.
