The time has come to crown the CWA Universal Tag Team Champions. This will be a round-robin tournament, just like the CWA Universal Championship tournament. Here are the teams involved here tonight:
GWF: Divided We Fall (Bloodline & Encubus)
aCe: The Others (Omni & Odyssey)
GWFC: Paladin Power (Moonstrike & Solar Flare)
GWFZ: The Undergrads (Pariah & Magnifico)
POW: The King's Men (Jack of Diamonds & Taurine)

Bout #1:
Divide We Fall vs. The Others
- The team that seems to be the favorite to win looked great in this opening bout as Bloodline and Encubus put on a tag team clinic. They never let up on The Others and Bloodline used his Cosmic Big Bang at 8:58 to take the win.
Bout #2:
The Undergrads vs. The King's Men
- Great action from bell to bell, as Pariah and Jack battled until both men looked like old rag-dolls. Jack made the hot tag, but Pariah was able to stun Taurine and tag in Magnifico. As these two battled, Jack made a blind tag and used his Synchronicity on Magnifico, while Taurine took Pariah to the floor, allowing The King's Men to score the win at 17:11.
Bout #3:
The Others vs. Paladin Power
- The GWFC representatives tried to mirror the formula from the first bout, but Omni and Odyssey were ready and had Paladin Power well scouted. This match was a back and forth affair, with loads of double teaming and tags. Omni and Moonstrike were battling in the ring, when Omni nailed a huge shot to the side of Solar Flare's head. Odyssey then charged across the ring and nailed a tope suicida on Solar Flare, while Omni using the Chronoflow at 25:16.

Bout #4:
Divided We Fall vs. The Undergrads
- Bloodline and Encubus again showed that they are deserving of the praise they recieved before the tournament. They had no problems with the Undergrads, as Encubus scored the win on Magnifico at 11:10 with his Game Master DDT.
Bout #5:
Paladin Power vs. The King's Men
- Good match, as both teams opened fast, with some quick tags. Solar Flare and Taurine battered each other, until both made much needed tags. Moonstrike was able to use his Paladiin Drop at 14:01 to take the win.
Bout #6:
The Others vs. The Undergrads
- After Odyssey opened with a hard flurry, Magnifico was able to make the tag to Pariah, which turned the tide. Pariah beat down Odyssey and then Omni, scoring the win after 3 straight Anarchy In The GWFZ at 12:40.

Bout #7:
Divided We Fall vs. Paladin Power
- Bloodline and Encubus looked good early, but as their name states: divided they will fall. Solar Flare was able to work over Encubus and was able to make some fast tags with Moonstrike. Bloodline finally tagged in but Solar Flare scored with some high impact offense and scored the pinfall at 27:16 after his Paladin Missile. Bloodline and Encubus came nose to nose after the bout, but cooler heads prevailed.
Bout #8:
The Others vs. The King's Men
- The Others had an obvious game plan and executed to perfection. Omni took Jack of Diamonds to the floor and they battled, while the legal men (Odyssey and Taurine) battled in the ring. Odyssey used his Chronoflow to win at 8:56.

Bout #9:
Paladin Power vs. The Undergrads
- Paladin Power knows that with a win then the worst they could do was tie for the championship. The Undergrads know that with a win and a little help, that they still have some slim title hopes. This match was beyond brutal all 4 men laid it all on the line. Solar Flare was a bloody mess, while Pariah continued to work him over. Pariah scored the pin fall after a falling fist drop at 24:19 on Solar Flare, while Magnifico nailed Moonstrike.
Bout #10
Divided We Fall vs. The King's Men
- Divided We Fall walked to the ring not speaking to each other, but they know they need to just win and they will take the Universal Tag Titles. The King's Men were not having any of that. Jack of Diamonds and Taurine jumped them before the bell and pounded on them. Jack took Bloodline to the floor, while Taurine used his Battered and Bruised on Encubus at 1:16. The crowd was absolutely stunned, as were Divided We Fall.

After a brief intermission, the CWA Board of Directors announced that there will be a Battle Royale to determine the tag team champions. The last man (not team) left will be named tag team champions. This allows each team 2 chances to win the belt in this match.

*All 10 men are in the ring and the bell rings starting the Battle Royale.
1. Magnifico eliminated Jack of Diamonds.
2. Moonstrike tossed out Omni.
3. Encubus hurled Magnifico over the top.
4. Solar Flare dumped Pariah to the floor.
5. Solar Flare ducked Odyssey's clothesline attempt right after Pariah went out. Solar Flare clotheslined Odyssey out and over.
6. Encubus eliminated Taurine.
7. Moonstrike blindsided Bloodline, causing him to go to the floor.
8. Encubus was left with Paladin Power, but nailed Moonstrike with a low blow and worked over Solar Flare. Encubus tossed out Solar Flare.
9. Moonstrike and Encubus battled into the ropes and started to slide over the top. Both men went over the ropes and to the floor. Moonstrike landed on top of Encubus. The officials at ringside confer with each other, trying to figure out who won.
From the crowd, Kill Prey jumps the guardrail and tries to get involved with the officials. Moonstrike and Solar Flare get into Prey's face, but Encubus and Bloodline step in. The officials award the belts to Paladin Power, which caused Prey to rip the belt out of Moonstrike's hands. This causes a brawl with these five men. Out of the crowd came Omega and Morpheus, who hit the ring. Omega tried to stop the fight, but Morpheus blasted Kill Prey. the other 3 teams come out of the back and a wild brawl in the ring erupts. CWA Security is forced to enter the ring and break-up the brawl, as we fade to black...

Wow, that's pretty crazy! nice job on the write up.. defiantely leads nicely into a PPV  I'm also officially shocked that, with the power creep CoTG has had over the years, my old school guys won both belts. |

Yeah, I really thought that Divided We Fall was going to kill everyone but in fast matches they seem to be in trouble. And then a freaking double elimination at the end of the battle royal. To determine the winner was a roll of the dice, and Moonstrike had the higher die than Encubus.
I think we have a couple of inter-fed bouts for the PPV.

Great tournament man. In the Battle Royal for the titles, who eliminated Magnifico?
Because the way I'm reading it. Moonstrike was the third elimination in the match and that it was Magnifico who was left with Encubus. So wouldn't that make it The Undergrads title?
Just wondering. Again great tournament The Undergrads way out performed Sledgend.
