I'm nearing the end of 2087 (just three more cards to go). I only have two belts right now, with the Interplanetary Championship debuting in 2088. My current champions are as follows:
Universal Champion - Star Warrior (since February 23, 2087, with 7 title defenses)
Universal Tag Team Champions - The Gladiators (since September 24, 2087, with 1 title defense)
I just finished my last PPV of the year, Winter Warfare. The results of which are as follows.
NOTE: I debut my wrestlers early throughout the year, instead of having them debut all at once at a Deimos Perennial. So, it was just the original 24 for half of 2087, with the Invasion wrestlers appearing throughout the rest of the year. Beginning in May of 2088, wrestlers such as Bounty Hunter and Mad Jester will debut, and so on. Now, on to the results...
- Pulsar defeated Vanity with the WHIRLWIND.
- The Executioner used the HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE to beat Renegade.
- The Death Squad (Splatter and Ghengis Khan) upset TitanPower when Splatter used the HATCHET JOB on Billy Jo Boxer.
- Mesmer quickly put away Killer Queen with the BLACKOUT.
- In a thrilling match, Invincible Krakan barely defeated Pit Viper with a dangerous top rope clothesline.
- The Norse Gods beat their rivals, the Greek Gods, when Lightening caught Proteus off-guard with the Lightening Kick. Lightening continued this assault on Proteus after the match, delivering several deadly backbreakers on the concrete floor, while Man-Mountain held Actagon off. Proteus suffered some moderate back injuries, and will be inactive for 6 fight cards.
- Massif won another match in his heated rivalry with Exo-King, using a grinding bear hug. After the bell sounded, Massif went berzerk and threw the referee out of the ring. He then delivered two devastating VOLCANIC DROPS onto Exo-King. The rest of the Royal Court came to Exo-King’s aid, but Massif quickly departed. Exo-king suffered a broken rib, and will be injured for 7 fight cards.
- In the first Aethran Ultimate Escape Match, The Gladiators of Aethra defeated their hated rivals, the AniMen of Andromeda. The bloodshed was quite severe in this one, with Brute, Incredible Badger, and Battering Ram requiring several stitches. The order of escape is as follows:
o Reptillo quickly exited after helping Incredible Badger deliver a perfect ANDROMEDA DROP on Brute.
o Spike performed the SUPER DESTROYER on Badger, and then exited.
o Brute, with a face full of blood, was able to escape after rendering Battering Ram useless with a knife edge.
o Massacre followed shortly after, delivering a MASSACRE SLAM on Battering Ram.
- Despite the hype, and the hatred between these two combatants, the Cygnus Brass Knuckles Match was kind of a letdown. Comrade Terror escaped with a victory, knocking Commander Sam down for the 10-count.
- Thantos dominated an already injured Wolf in a Titan Death Match, making him tap out of the MASTERLOCK.
- In the main event, Star Warrior once again successfully defended the GWF Universal Heavyweight Championship against the undefeated #1 contender, Bishop Hell. Warrior’s Running Star Blast put an end to the Bishop’s impressive winning streak.
I will be posting a 2087 Year in Review before I begin 2088.
