JUNE 2096
RECAP OF THE MONTH'S EVENTS
The annual Lethal Lottery began last month. All members of the roster, except current champions, were eligible to enter. 16 wrestlers were chosen at random and entered into the tournament. The winner would receive the GWF title shot against Chaos later this month at VELOCITY. This month of the tournament included the Semi-Finals. On one side of the bracket we had Alpha Force vs. Vengeance, and on the other side, Raven vs. Enigma. Fellow CotG teammates Alpha Force and Raven both proceded into the Finals in a rare teammate vs. teammate wrestling match. Alpha Force went on to escape with the honor of being called the 2096 Lethal Lottery winner and received a title shot against GWF Champion Chaos.
This month's Civil War matches included a closely fought Dog Collar match between Spike and Thunder. Spike and experience prevailed in this exciting brawl. Wolf vs. Vengeance and (Tag Team Champions) Gladiators vs. Thunder & Killing Machine were signed for the upcoming VELOCITY PPV.
The FDF were shooken up by an attack on Lance At Las after a Code of Honor/Mercenaries match. At Las was injured for 6 cards due to a spike piledriver by the Mercanries after the match.
The Titans/Dark Side feud continued to grow. Pulsar defeated Mesmer in a singles match but Gemini rushed to the ring and attacked Pulsar. The Overlord held a chair to Pulsar's head and Gemini hit a spinkick, whiplashing the chair into Pulsar's face. This is the second time we've seen this as of late. The attack led to a 6 card injury for Pulsar.
Star Warrior, after losing the GWF title to Chaos at TitanMania and being on the shelf from the attack after the match by Chaos, returned. He showed up with Thantos at Revolution and they announced that they would be reuniting as the GameMasters and challenged Superiority Complex.
next, the final card for VELOCITY.

Well, I'm going to put it out there. Some of it anyway. At this time I won't be posting every show's results and scripts, but I figured it would be easy enough to do the PPVs and do an 'at glance' look at the events leading to them.

VELOCITY
06/23/2096 Hoffa Hall, Fomalhaut, Pisces
The show opened with Jack of Diamonds versus Enigma. The match was over fairly quick and it was Enigma who stood as the victor. Not nearly as good as their past encounter, however it was only recently that Jack returned from injury. Did this have an impact on his performance?
The first title match of the night was for the Interplanetary Championship. The champ, Heracles, faced off against Matador of M83. Matador lost the title at TitanMania 11 , 2 months ago, to Heracles. Matador has sought out to prove that Heracles' title win was a fluke. This was a good match and it looked like Matador would regain his title until Raven interfered on behalf of Heracles. This interference helped Heracles pick up the win. The problem is that the jury is still out on whether Heracles is a fluke champion as Matador claims.
There was lumberjack action at Velocity. Lord Nexus vs. Bishop Hell. In Nexus' corner - Dragonmaster, Pulsar, & Trainer Jim. In Hell's corner - Mesmer, Gemini, and Occult Overlord. Hell controlled most of the match, much like he has in the other matches between these two. The lumberjacks came into play several different times. One of which led to victory for Bishop Hell. Hell had been thrown out of the ring on Lord Nexus' side. The Titans went to work on Hell and the ref went to the outside to convince the Titans to toss Hell back into the ring. While this was going on, Gemini snuck into the ring with a chair. He tossed it at Nexus and Nexus caught it. Gemini immediately followed with a spinkick, knocking the chair back into Nexus' face ( a recent trademark move from Gemini). Hell made it back into the ring and covered Nexus for the three count.
In a Civil War match, Wolf took on Vengeance. Thakur had already decided that this would be a regular match. Wolf avenges his loss to Vengeance from a few weeks ago by picking up a win here.
The reunion of Star Warrior and Thantos as a tag team had the fans on their feet for the next match. The return of the GameMasters was much anticipated and it now seems that with the Greek Gods retirement, it will be the GameMasters stepping into a full-time tag team role for the CotG. This was a good match but Superiority Complex have been teaming regularly as opposed to the GameMasters ,and the chemistry showed as Superiority Complex kept the advantage often during the match. However, The GameMasters were able to overcome the onslaught and ended up with a successful reunion.
Last month, we saw War Games Champion, Splatter, defend his title against U.S. Patriot in a Ladder match. Patriot, not satisfied by the end result of that match, asked for a rematch. This led us to the match tonight. However, Splatter called for this match to incorporate chairs and tables, as well as the ladder that was used during their earlier confrontation. This TLC match did not disappoint either. All three items were used in devastating ways but it was U.S. Patriot who ended up worse for ware. Splatter was able to climb the ladder and retrieve his championship.
The second Civil War match of the night began with Thakur coming down to the ring. He announced that this match would be a special referee match. The referee he named was...Himself! This was huge news. The Tag Team Championship is highly revered in Aethran culture and two Gladiator teams fighting for the titles already made this a very high profile match. Add the Aethran Minister of War and this was sure to go down in Aethran history. This was a great match and fairly long. In the end, though, it was the Gladiators who had their hands raised by Thakur as Thunder and Killing Machine were forced to watch.
Finally, time for the Main Event. GWF Champion, Chaos versus the Lethal Lottery winner, Alpha Force. Ever since his personal issues, Alpha Force has been fighting to make his way back to the top of the GWF. Alpha Forced jumped on the offensive in the early going. The two exchanged the upper hand several times during the course of the match. Chaos' power eventually played out and he began to dominate the challenger. Omega, sensing defeat for his wrestler, sought to interfere but was quickly stopped by the ref, who ordered Omega to leave ringside. Not long after, it was Chaos, holding his GWF title, who stood tall over a fallen Alpha Force. This was a fantastic main event and Alpha Force put up a great fight, but he'll have to wait another day to call himself GWF Champion again.
Coming in July...
Tournament season continues with the specialty match tournament known as the Lord of War tournament. Will, War Games Champion, Splatter emerge as this year's winner or will someone else survive the 8 man tournament and face the champ in an effort to be called the 2096 Lord of War.

JULY 2096
RECAP OF THE MONTH'S EVENTS
The 1st and 2nd rounds of the Lord of War tournament are over and we're down to a list of three possible winners of this years tournament. Mayhem and Wolf have made it to the Semi-finals and will face off in a TLC match the first Revolution of August. The winner will go on to fight War Games Champion, Splatter, in a Barbwire Cage match at The Clash Of The Titans PPV. This will determine our next Lord of War. In other matches of the tournament we saw Wolf defeat Draconian Shiek in a Castor Chain match. Dragonmaster defeated Enigma in a Thumbtacks match. Gemini got the underdog win versus Spike in a Gutarr Stick match. And lastly in the first round, Mayhem defeated U.S. Patriot in a Brass Knuckles match. The second round included Wolf dominating Dragonmaster in a Falls Anywhere match and Mayhem busting open Gemini in their First Blood match.
The Matador sought revenge on Raven for costing him in his match against Interplanetary Champion, Heracles, at VELOCITY. Matador gained a count out victory as well as a clean pin over Raven, and it can be confirmed that these two have aleady been signed to a match at The Clash Of The Titans next month.
The Generation X/ New Order feud continued with a series of singles match between the two teams. However there have been no decisive victories in those matches.
Lance At Las returned from injury late in the month and faced one of the two guys responsible for his injury, Vigilante. However, At Las ended up losing that match and now hopes that he and Justice as a tag team can defeat the Mercenaries.
The GameMasters met the Superiority Complex again. The GameMasters picked up a count out victory but still thrilled the fans after the match by executing the Endgame finisher on an isolated Prodigy.
Janus challenged Heracles to put his title on the line at The Clash. He told Heracles that he wasn't a real champion and offered to take the IP title for the sake of the GWF. Heracles has a huge task in front of him if he wants to beat the Champion of Champions, Janus. One thing's for sure though, if he can beat Janus, the Citadel will no longer be able to call him a fluke champion.
Pulsar made his return but some people think he's gone crazy. Why? Pulsar is bent on revenge against Gemini for taking him out of action. He's developed what he calls a stategy (others call it suicidal) to help him train for facing Gemini and hurting him. Pulsar is signing matches with opponents he doesn't have much of a chance beating. He doesn't care though, b/c he wants to take on some of the most hardcore wrestlers before his match with Gemini. He took on Draconian Shiek and the Shiek slaughtered him. Pulsar was a victim to the sharp objects that the Shiek conceals and uses during his matches. A bloody mess, after the match Pulsar declared it to be a great match for him. He has next signed a match with Vengeance for the first Revolution of August. Is Pulsar off his rocker or will this so-called sategy work. If Pulsar can even compete at The Clash by the time it rolls around, Gemini had better watch out.
Exo-King is looking to get back on focus and wants back in the GWF title scene. He was on a roll until Splatter returned from Sudden Death banishment, hammering him with a chair from behind. This was right around the time King was about to face Star Warrior for the GWF title, a privelege he won by winning the Rigel Rumble. Splatter's attack got his mind off focus and King choked in his title opportunity. Then, as a result of the Morpheus' and other villian leaders secret meeting, the Masked Assassins came after him and his kingdom. Now though King fells he has a little breathing room in his feud and can step out for a match vs. GWF Champ, Chaos. Chaos may be the Man of Power but the King is definitely no slouch in the power department himself. 2 of the GWF's strongest clash next month when the GWF presents The Clash Of The Titans 11.
Coming in August...
Wolf vs. Mayhem in a TLC match! Winner to meet Splatter in the Lord of War Final. Who will bring home the bragging rights of the GWF's most extreme and dangerous man.
The Clash Of The Titans 11. Champions clash in head to head battles aginst their challengers. Feuds will be put to rest and perhaps new ones started.
The Civil War will continue. With 3 members of this war in the Lord of War tourament, the Civil War has took a brief rest period. Next month, the War will rage on though. Who will face who and what kind of matches will Thakur decide on?

AUGUST UPDATE
The Lord of War continued with the Semi-final match. Mayhem versus Wolf in a TLC match. In a match that also affected the Civil War, Mayhem defeated Wolf and will go on to face the War Games Champion, Splatter, in the Final at The Clash Of The Titans.
A week later Wolf lost to Vengeance in a Cosmic Cage. Thakur has signed these two for The Clash in a Falls Anywhere match. Wolf will need a big win here after two big losses this month.
Thantos was injured by Skinhead the first week of August. After being dq'd in a singles match with Thantos, Skinhead proceeded to use the Perfect Piledriver on the announceer's table. Skinhead was suspended for his actions. In retaliation Star Warrior took on Prodigy the next week and won the match by count out. The two will do battle again at the PPV.
With GameMasters and Superiority Complex out of the tag rankings momentarily, new # 1 contenders were needed. The Mercanries took on Code of Honor to determine just that in a tables match. Code of Honor survived and will now go on to face the Gladiators for the Tag titles.
Raven and Matador teamed up to take on Matador & Janus the week before the Clash. The CotG duo picked up the win leading into their singles matches at the PPV.
Pulsar continued his crusade for pain. Vengeance destroyed Pulsar in a match that saw plenty of acton outside the ring. The following week, Pulsar challenged Killing Machine and was blown away by his power. Pulsar feels all these matches has helped inspire him to face Gemini at The Clash. It has also been determined that the match will be a First Blood match at the request of Pulsar. Pulsar says he wants to make Gemini bleed and a ,perhaps, overconfident Gemini had no objections to the First Blood stipulation.
Coming soon... Clash Of The Titans 11
