AMAZING ending after the pitching staff f'ed up a 7 run lead. Nice to get the sweep, but lots of work left to do!

That trade for Ubaldo Jimenez is not working out for the Indians. I am not surprised since he really has not pitched that good since the All Star break of last year. Not only did the Indians acquire a player not helping them in the pennant race (Jimenez has lasted past the 5th inning only once in his 4 Cleveland starts,) they gave up their top two pitching prospects to get him. It looks like the Tigers are starting to pull away from both the Indians and the White Sox.

Verlander is a machine this season. The guy is going to rack up some MLB awards this year.

Tigers overcome an 8-1 deficit and claw back to win on a Cabby walk-off in the 9th. Don't think this team will have a September collapse.

Big game in Prime Time tonight fans. A Tiger W would all but doom the Sox and kill 'em dead.

Tigers said good-bye to the ChiSox last night. HUGE series starting against the Tribe tonight. Must take 2 of 3 to all but lock up the division.

The purists are idiots. Justin Verlander should be the AL MVP. But they won't give it to him because "he only plays once every 5 days". Ignoring the obvious fact that, if Justin Verlander plays on any other team, the Detroit Tigers would not make the playoffs.
