Well it could work out for Detroit, and SF is running wild. Green Bay though is still the team to beat.

Tough loss in a defensive slugfest. Stafford missed some throws which stalled some drives, and Titus Young with 2 false starts didn't help.
Gotta give credit to SF's defense. As far as after the game, I thought Harbaugh was the instigator but Schwartz probably over reacted. I think both will get fined by the league but it's 2 very emotional coaches. Harbaugh basically throwing Schwartz aside was unprofessional.
Hopefully the Lions bounce back next week.

The Jerome Harrison-Ronnie Brown trade that was voided Wednesday between the Lions and the Eagles was thwarted by a brain tumor found in Harrison during a routine physical.
That’s the report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who writes, “Without trade, Jerome Harrison doesn't get physical. Without physical, doctors don't find brain tumor. Trade might have saved his life.”
Now, the disappointment some might have felt when the trade fell through Wednesday has to be tempered by the fortuitous discovery made by the Eagles doctors.

Time to turn this mutha around. I'm a huge Tebow fan. I think he is the best college QB I've ever been alive to see play the game. I think he's one of the best people in sports. I'm fascinated with how uncomfortable he makes other people by just being himself. You have to be a pretty conflicted dude to let a guy who's lifestyle is believing in honesty, fairness, hard work, and treating your fellow man with respect, get under your skin. Only the scum media would try to spin that as a negative. But hey, most people are stupid and stupid people love conflict and negativity. It would be one thing if Tebow constantly shoved his beliefs down others throats, but he doesn't. The media pry's it out of him, then turns on him when he does.
With all that said, I'm cheering against him today. The Lions D is simply too good to let Tebow beat them today. I'm worried about the Lions O, but the D should have a big game.

Lions 20 Broncos 16Says a lot about the mindset of football fans who will cheer Michael Vick and boo Tim Tebow. Then again, I can tell you, on the sports message boards at CBS, the Tebow fans/worshippers can be very very very IN. SUFFER. ABLE. I can see why there will be fans who want Tebow to fail just to shut those people up.

I honestly wish that people would stop talking negatively about Vick. He did the crime, he did the time, he seems contrite, let it go.
As for Tebow, I understand the hate as far as his game is concerned. Not a "prototypical" QB and all of that. But as Rob said, he's not shoving his beliefs in anybodies face; he plays hard and his teammates play hard for him. Hard to argue with that sentiment.

Over at the Suncoast, I put some money on the Lions today. Well, lets see. I have the Lions at -3.5 and right now it is Lions 44, Broncos 3 with 12:04 left in the game. I think I am picking up some cash tonight.

I can see why there will be fans who want Tebow to fail just to shut those people up. I totally get this. I'm guilty of the same thing. I defintley have teams I root against soley because of their insipid fan bases. I actually used to be like that with the Colts in the playoffs because of their (some of them) obsession with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. I'm that way now with Michigan State with college ball. I honestly wish that people would stop talking negatively about Vick. He did the crime, he did the time, he seems contrite, let it go. This is just me, but I don't always follow the rules set before me, especially ones I wasn't around to have a say in. In other words, I don't care what "society's" view on what is ample "time served" for what Vick did. I think hurting animals is just as horrid as child abuse. I would never forgive a child molester or anyone who hurt or killed a child even if they were let out of prison, so why would I all of a sudden stop bagging on Vick.
