This is comic related but...
IDW is doing a Dr. Who and Star Trek TNG crossover this summer as a comic.

I really enjoyed the 50th anniversary Day of the Doctor episode and John Heard was really great in the Warrior Doctor role and they have a webisode with Paul McGann that leads to the John Heard regeneration on YouTube. I have to split my favorite old who between Baker and Davison, my newer favorite Who is Tennant...

Not a bad show. But I'm a classic kind of guy. I'm more into Tom Baker. But the 2nd Docter had Tomb of the Cybermen which to me was a classic.

Anyone watch the Doctor Who premier over the weekend? I did. I really like Peter Capaldi as the new and 12th Doctor, but I really enjoy Madame Vastra, Jenny Flint & Strax the most of the "Deep Breath" episode. I was glad BBCA ran a marathon and my favorite episode is "The Day of the Doctor" where we see John Hurt as the Doctor, Tom Baker as the Curator and the image of all the Doctor Who's at the end was really cool...

Overall, I liked it but the first half dragged a little aside from the humor. Once the Doctor recovered from regeneration psychosis or whatever that was and started Doctoring, I thought it was really good. Vastra, Jenny, and Strax were great, as always.
I watched nothing but Doctor Who and the Simpsons marathon on FXX over the weekend.
