For some reason I was on a barbed wire kick and wanted to try and make a match that was really brutal. I wanted it to be bloody and factor in blood loss. Here is a link to where you can get the match (pdf). sites.google.com/site/mrbeefymorris/uwahq/uwaspecialI guess what I want opinions and feedback on is... What do you like about what I have, like what do you think works? What do you think I need to change or tweak about it?

Awesome match. I like the different layers involved. With all of the high end possibilities the matches are likely to end quickly and violently. A solid hardcore bloodbath.
The only idea I'd offer as a possible alternative is to front the Blood 1 designations as an attribute that triggers an Add 1 (not coupled with it). In the same way an Add 1 can later trigger an Add 2. That would allow you to keep the bleeding aspect but temper the pacing. If you want hard and fast I'd leave it as is.
Would you mind if I added this into the archive?

Feel Free to add to the archive.
So to clarify, you are saying you'd get rid of the Add 1's on the charts and just use blood tokens. That way the blood loss chart could have more of an opportunity to be utilized and it could be the way Add 1s are done.

That way the blood loss chart could have more of an opportunity to be utilized and it could be the way Add 1s are done. Here's an example using one of your Out of the Ring Apron Above Barbed Wire designations: You grab the opponent by the hair and pull him out the apron with you. You pick him up and powerbomb him right off the apron onto the barbed wire floor. *(ROLL BLOOD LOSS) You untangle his bloody body and throw him back into the ring and go for the cover. OPPONENT ROLLS PIN. ADD 2 PIN and BLOOD tokens. An alternative would be to eliminate the 'Add 2 to Pin' mention and just keep the focus on the blood tokens by referencing a sliding scale. Example: Chart Rule: Every roll that designates blood loss causes an increase in pin tokens as follows: 3 Blood Tokens: Add 1 5 Blood Tokens: Add 2 7+ Blood Tokens: Add 3 This would allow you to drive home the fatigue caused by 'blood loss' as the main issue. Depending upon how you stagger the rule you could either make the match more of a grind or even increase the pace.

While this is more complicated than I normally like my special matches to be, it's quite something. While I hate having to keep track of additional things while I'm rolling, the different levels of blood flow are really cool and I love the idea of an apron chart. The charts are well done and conform to the 2 = comeback, 12 = catastrophe of the official charts. Good job!

Ah I get what you're saying now. I think when I get time to look at it again I might try tweaking it to see how I like that. The one thing I do like about having it the way it is though, if I'm not in the mood to keep track of the blood tokens it still has the brutality with the add 1's and 2's which is what I was thinking when initially doing the charts. So to clarify, you are saying you'd get rid of the Add 1's on the charts and just use blood tokens. This is a cool idea. Complicated in some aspects, but very understandable. I think this would work well for a match up I'm having with Grash vs. Siber. Very barbaric, which is perfect. I like it.
I will look at getting this printed off to try it out. After I try it, I'll offer any input I have for it.
thanks for putting it up!

I have to echo the sentiments as the above guys. The match is a tad more complicated than I would like to use, but it is perfect for that blow-off match. I could see this being an ABSOLUTE blood-bath!
Thanks for sharing. When I get a chnace to use it, I will post my results.

As stated, this match looks pretty brutal. Will definitely find a way to incorporate this somehow into LLUSA in the future.

Had someone point out the old link didn't have the files. This should now be fixed. So the link in the first post should have where you can download the pdf of the barbed wire match, and an 'on the apron chart' (think suicide dive chart but for power ratings). If anyone uses please let me know how it went. OH AM HELLO! It has been awhile!
