Love the story and notes here, Zeke! Unfortunately, we at Roll Up massacred his last name and I've even seen him a few times! Alas... We'll get it right next time. That new episode will go live tomorrow at 12:30 central, by the way - so you'll have it for your flight :-) You would definitely not be the only one to mispronounce it as I have heard different variations in regards to pronouncing Orin Veidt's last name but my understanding is that Veight (rhyming with words such as bite and sight) is correct. I am looking forward to listening to Roll Up on my Friday morning flight to Chicago. I always enjoy Roll Up and it will be a good way to spend the time while in the air! Sam asked before hand for the pronounciation and I said what I thought, which was correct. But Sam has his own ideas.

I mostly watch Peacock for non-WWE stuff these days. We just finished off binging Superstore. Also I see they added Beetleguise yesterday. Need to watch that with the kids.

I am hoping the next episode of Roll Up drops by Thursday night or Friday morning so I can listen to it on my Friday morning flight to Chicago. We just finished recording a few minutes ago. Expect it to be up Thursday afternoon.

I would bet this will eventually come out on dvd. I've gotten every show they've ever released. Same here. Haven't watched them all, but I have collected them all. Maybe we need a new Olde Wrestling card for prime again.

Bumping a nearly decade’s old thread to put over how great Olde Wrestling’s Extravaganza was this year. Always such a fun show with some great gimmicks. Some of the new names this year included Lee Moriarty as Lee Mitchell, Effy as F.E. Davidson, the former Chikara team of Crummels and Defarge, and Abby Jane as Dawn Delivery. Also worth noting that Dick Justice returned from retirement/hiatus and is looking great. If you live in the Midwest you absolutely need to make the trip to Norwalk for the Extravaganza. The only Olde match I got to see live was in Cleveland during Wrestling Geek Fest. I cant wait to go to an Extravaganza some day. That and AIW's Wrestlerager have tended to be the same weekend in Ohio and is a hell of a double header with wildly different atmospheres.

Not my story. Just one that I was shocked to hear about from Jamestown that involved Virgil. The guy is at the McDonalds/gas station across from the Comfort Inn which I could tell from the description.
I do plan to call in with my story at one point involving taking my daughter to her first show. If it makes it on I will certainly let everyone on the board know!

Man if that game is $50,000 then I have tens of millions of dollars on inventory in my house.
I will give him one thing, the instruction booklet and the flyers are no longer in print. So there is that.

It was interesting to hear what wrestling podcasts you guys listen to, as they are totally different from the ones I listen to. I forget if it was Chad or Cory who used to listen some to Colt Cabana's podcast and knew he had a new format, but hadn't heard it yet. I would highly suggest it, its very snackable, maybe 30 minutes at most. The show is Wrestling Anonymous and he gets anonymous calls from people with stories associated with wrestling and wrestlers. Some wild stuff and Colt does a great job curating and commenting on it. Episode 7 from July 6th starts with a story about Virgil from Jamestown, NY! That was from me, Todd. I saw the recaps of his new show on his Website and thought it sounded interesting. I may have to listen sometime. Even though I'm not presently listening to his show, I always admired the time and effort Colt put into his podcast. He was way ahead of so many others in wrestling when it came to getting his name out there on his own! If anything, just check out the beginning few minutes of this one: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/7-virgil-the-hustler/id1566618280?i=1000527987631
