Not even Plethador has a (-6) finisher. He should. You didn't finish that last sentence: He should-----have been gone two years ago and replaced with a decent Animan. There. You're welcome. He was, his name is Mantis. As for Megaupload, that sucks for some of our game fans since its harder to access some of the PDF library that LWPD has assembled. Although he is a champ for figuring out another method for distributing this content.

It's 2127 and Plethador was not replaced by Mantis; he is still on the active roster. Mantis was added, but Pleth didn't go anywhere. And yes, everything I had independently hosted on my own megaupload account and shared here is gone, too. Without the convenience of sites like that for sharing LEGAL content it's back to the yahoo groups and sharing via person-to-person emails. (not even addressing the other, broader and more insidious implications of moves like this)

Although he is a champ for figuring out another method for distributing this content. Fortunately everything in the PDF Download Library was actively backed up on a separate site as a fail safe (ie. something like this occurring). No content is 'lost', the ideal method of distribution has just been temporarily disrupted. The larger issue is the online safety of mediums like Proboards, Photobucket and various other user upload orientated sites. All will inevitably contain copyright infringements by an extension of what they are (broadly used services that can never be fully policed in compliance with respect to the law). This Megaupload seizure is a reminder that the Department of Justice has the ability to take down 'violating' websites at will and in whole. Users may try to log onto this forum one day, and it just won't be there. That's the reality going forward.

I remember what life was like before the age of the Internet. I'm not really worried about it.
