I loved that Andre the Giant losing his cool and I could see him whipping Valentine around like a rag doll, but a victory over Andre whether via DQ is a big win for sure. Wow! I really like the tandem of Eddie Kingston & Masked Superstar and their win over the Love Brothers is a Top Victory. I'm pulling for the Flying Redheads to win the vacant CWA Tag Belts, but seeing the Vachons win would be good too... I aree with Crimson as it was cool seeing Greg Valentine earn a decision over Andre the Giant and Kingston & Superstar make for an awesome team. Todd somehow I missed that you put up the Parade of Champions event. That was a solid show and a nice way to end your territory run. Best of luck with Capital Wrestling, I really like this fed as it reminds me of old school WWWF.

Thanks for the comments
The territory system didn't last as long as I'd hoped but at the same time it helped build up Capital Wrestling which was the one fed I was the most interested in doing

Joffa Mosque Altoona Pa Card 15 1. Ida Mae Martinez def Penny Banner - **1/2 Special attraction ladies match opens the show with some exciting action between Penny Banner and fan favorite Ida Mae Martinez. Banner focuses her attack on the legs and back locking on a Boston crab twice only to have Martinez reach the ropes both times. Banner continues her attack with multiple knee slams on the mat and goes for the pin with a SUNSET FLIP and then quickly follows up with a SMALL CRADLE but Martinez manages to kick out each time. Martinez finally gets some offense going after ducking under a forearm smash and delivers a flying head scissors before getting the win with a DROPKICK 2. King Kong Bundy W/ Jimmy Hart def Mr. X * - As announced last week Jimmy Hart introduces the newest member of his First Family and his personal insurance policy from any more beatings at the hands of Andre The Giant. Bundy makes quick work of Mr. X demanding a five count from referee Gilberto Roman following a devastating AVALANCHE 3. The Kangaroos W/ Wild Red Berry def The Hillbillies** Roy Hefferman and Al Costello aka the Fabulous Kangaroos make their CWA debut against Cousin Luke and Hillbilly Jim who do surprisingly well getting two near falls with a Hillbilly Jim big boot and a Cousin Luke two fisted sledgehammer before being taken down with a BOOMERANG on Hillbilly Jim. 4. Curt Hennig W/ William Muldoon def Playboy Buddy Rose **Hennig makes his return to the ring after being put on the shelf by Ox Baker on card 4. Rose put up a good fight before going down for the count following a TOP ROPE DROPKICK but not before Hennig racked up five near falls 5. Cowboy Bob Orton def Hacksaw Jim Duggan *1/2Orton making his second appearance in the CWA disposes of Hacksaw Duggan also his second appearance with a middle rope splash followed by a SUPERPLEX 6. Match for vacant CWA tag title Vachons W/ Lou Albano def The Flying Redheads ****Another four star match between these two teams for the second week in a row. Last week’s match ended with no clear winner in a double disqualification. This time around The Vachons got the edge over the Redheads with a Mad Dog piledriver on Billy Red Lyons after Albano jumped on the ring apron causing a distraction. I like the addition of King Kong Bundy as an insurance policy for Jimmy Hart against Andre the Giant. Bundy and the five count win always rules. The battle between the Vachon's and the Flying Redheads sounded great and it was nice to see Mad Dog & Butcher take the gold. Cowboy Bob Orton looks impressive so far and it will be interesting to see how he fares in his championship match against Bobo Brazil. The rest of the Scranton show sounds great as well and I'm really interested to see how Jimmy Snuka deals with Antonino Rocca. Great stuff, Todd.

I'm with CF68 on the recent show and I must add that seeing the Kangaroos debut with a victory over the Hillbillies is Cool and the return of Curt Hennig versus Rose is Solid. I can't wait to see what Hennig will do in the CW and Ox Baker better watch out...

I didn't think the Vachons were going to pull through and starting thinking about a new tag team for Albano. It's funny how they have new life all of sudden. Cowboy Bob Orton is on a roll and headed for big things I think.

Catholic Youth Center Scranton PA Card 16 1. Terry Gordy def Johnny Rodz *1/2 Rodz starts off the match strong putting together a series of moves (middle rope hammer, roundhouse rights, unpredictable slam) followed by a big pin attempt for a count of two. Gordy recovers quickly putting Rodz in his place with a Bam Bam slam followed by a PILEDRIVER 2. Love Brothers DDQ The Tolos Brothers ***Both teams try to outdo each other with a variety of dirty tactics and illegal double teams in one of the dirtiest tag team match ups ever seen in Capital Wrestling The match ends when referee Dick Kroll disqualifies both Hartford Love and Chris Tolos for brawling outside the ring at the 10:44 mark 3. William Muldoon def Ray Stevens ***Since coming to the CWA Muldoon has been impressive setting the top two records for quickset victories in the times of 1:14 and 2:00 and came within inches of defeating Andre The Giant in a ten over the top a battle royal. Muldoon also took young Curt Hennig under his wing helping him make a speedy recovery and return to the ring after being injured by Ox Baker. Stevens gives Muldoon his toughest match so far going over 10 minutes against The Solid Man scoring 2 near falls in the process. Despite the near falls Muldoon’s defensive skills gave him the advantage allowing him to remain undefeated getting the win with a BODY LIFT AND THROW 4. Kangaroos W/ Wild Red Berry def Kingston and Masked Superstar** Masked Superstar and Kingston put up a decent fight but are out matched by the superior tag team skills of Costello and Hefferman. The Kangaroos get the win via BOOMERANG on Kingston in 7:37 5. Bobby Shane W/ Jimmy Hart def Hacksaw Jim Duggan *Shane makes his first appearance since being destroyed by Andre The Giant (card 12) making quick work of Duggan in just a few moves getting the win with a JAPANESE SLEEPER 6. Andre The Giant def Ox Baker *** These two giants waged war both inside and outside the ring in match that had the crowd going wild. You could hear a pin drop as Baker took Andre off his feet with a well placed HEART PUNCH and makes the cover. Andre kicks out and rebounds with a brutal barrage of head butts ending the match a short time later with a BIG SPLASH . After the match Jimmy Hart comes to ringside and distracts Andre while the First Family ( Shane, Valentine, and Bundy) sneak attack the giant from behind. Under the direction of Jimmy Hart all three members join in on the beating that ends with Bundy hitting Andre with a big splash and covering him as Hart makes a five count 7. Antonio Rocca def Jimmy Snuka ** Rocca held on to the advantage from the opening bell using out maneuvering Snuka at every opportunity and winning the match with little difficulty with a series of flying dropkicks followed by a flying cross body block. Another disappointing performance and tough loss for the former Capital Wrestling champion who didn’t take it well and went after Rocca with a steel chair after the bell 8. CWA North American title match Cowboy Bob Orton def Bobo Brazil *** Brazil and Orton matched move for move throughout the match inside the ring and brawled several times outside the ring. The back and forth struggle continued for almost 20 minutes with Brazil getting 2 near falls with a COCO BUTT and Bobo body slam and Orton one near fall with an atomic drop. Unfortunately Brazil but it wasn’t enough to retain his title going down for the count following an Orton SUPERPLEX. Cowboy Bob Orton becomes the new North American champion Announcements for next show at the Philadelphia Spectrum - Taken out of action by The Sheik on card 7 Buddy Rogers returns to action squaring off against Bob Roop
- In a special attraction tag team match The Chiefs (Jay Strongbow and Peter Maivia) meet the Capital Wrestling Tag Team Champions Vachons with their manager Lou Albano
- Andre The Giant teams up with The Masked Superstar and Eddie Kingston against The First Family Of Wrestling W/ Jimmy Hart
- Antonio Rocca gets his shot at Capital Wrestling Gold when he faces Ivan Koloff for the CWA title

I really enjoyed the card in Scranton, Todd. It was cool seeing Cowboy Bob Orton take the CWA North American title from Bobo Brazil clean with the Superplex. Brazil is tought to beat so that was a huge win for Orton. I loved Andre kicking out after the Heart Punch and rallying to beat Ox Baker. The First Family post-match attack with the Bundy splash and five count on Andre adds some real heat to that rivalry. I'm looking forward to the appearance of Chief Jay Strongbow & Peter Maivia on the next card.

It's always a good thing seeing Cowboy Bob Orton capturing Gold and I'm pulling for him to have a good reign as the North American Champion. Too bad Kingston & Masked Superstar lost their bout with the Roos, but I'm glad to see William Muldoon & Antonino Rocca win their respective matches...
