Is that how they seemed to be playing that? Was IRON actually acting like a rudo? Or was he just against them both? Remember at High Noon Akuma cost Iron the match against Icarus when he tried to kick Icarus and got Iron instead. That was more likely the angle they were reaching for here.; that he just doesn't like either one of them, setting up a triangle feud.
I forgot about the High Noon match but this was a little different. Iron didn't cost Akuma the match Icarus was already counted out before Iron attacked Akuma. Seemed like Icarus was slowly luring Akuma away from the ring and toward the locker room where Iron could come out and attack him. Mr Touchdown seemed more like a heel to me. After Dasher Hatfield introduced him and asked everyone to give him the same welcome Hatfield got his first night Touchdown came out and yelled sup nerds and shoved the football hard into his chest. I could see Mr. Touchdown splitting from throwbacks by the end of the year and hooking up with Veronica who is unhappy with Peck losing.
