Yep yep........... And I was wrong there's been 7 total, just looked it up to be sure. Here I thought there was six and even so I phrased the question wrong. I meant to say 5 other than the last but there's six before Davis.  and here I prided myself on knowing Super Bowls. Who was the next before Davis? |

Nope........ Emmit Smith and before that was OTTIS ANDERSON of the Giants, That leaves four.

I know Otis Anderson was SuperBowl XXV MVP. I'm a Bills fan and Thurman Thomas would have won the award if the laces were out  . Yet, I think that Emmit Smith might have gotten one against us after that too, in XXVII or XXVIII...or against the Steelers in XXX? Edit: Ah, KB said it first and answered my question ;D. I know that Marcus Allen won with the Raiders and John Riggins with the Redskins...back-to-back years in the early 80's I believe, but I'm not sure who else before that. Maybe Czonka (sp?) with the Dolphins in the 70's, long before his American Gladiator days . |
