I feel bad for Tom Brady. Dropped passes killed that last drive. I admire Wes Welker to owning up to that huge drop. With that said I think the Pats are back in it next year with a chance to redeem themselves. Most importantly, no referee F ups. Gotta give whoever the officiating crew was some credit after so many questionable calls all season long. I don't feel bad for Brady because he has had and I'm sure will continue to have a Solid career, but the Pats have been a Top team to reach the levels they have and ever since their last Super Bowl victory they seem to be missing a few key components to win that Final game of the NFL season. I agree that the Pats will be contenders next Season and if they can sign a few deep threat Wide Receivers, they have a great chance at winning the Super Bowl... I was watching Mike & Mike yesterday and they mentioned how well the Referee's officiated the game and it was good to see that they were a non-factor over being a bad factor in the game...

Of course I'm happy the Giants won and it was a great game. Brady's receivers did fail him a bit, but in the end, that's true of any game...someone's going to not do something. The Patriots still have at least a year or two more to go for SBs though.
